Graduate of the Royal Military College Duntroon. Honours degree in engineering, Graduate of Command & Staff College, Joint Services Staff College and the Senior Mgmt Course (Logistics) UK, Grad Dip Strategic Studies (ANU)

32 years in the Army, 15 years in private enterprise. Granted a number of patents internationally. Formed three companies mainly involved in development of ideas and promoting the use of Open Source Software as a means of helping small to medium sized businesses and accelerating the development of third world countries.

Now involved heavily in politics because I feel that there are very serious deficiencies in the Australian system of democracy that threaten the existence of this country and its people in the long term.
