Social Media attacks on the Green Party by Labour figures over a solar energy farm being blocked expose Labour as the NIMBY's! Right, so a story that amused me no end this week at any rate is a half-witted attack by some Labour figures on the Green Party in an attempt to make them out to be perhaps not as Green as they make themselves out to be as a solar farm in Kent has been refused planning permission. If you just read the headline, as so many of social media have clearly done, it very much implies that the council in question, which is Folkestone & Hythe District Council has refused the planning permission because it is Green Party run and therefore there’s a whiff of a scandal in the air, but actually it’s nothing of the sort, is incredibly misleading and well, some people who have let their factionalism and their desperation for a gotcha on the Greens get the better of them and deservedly so. Right, so Folkestone and Hythe District Council in Kent has been the source of this frankly non story, but given it has been picked up by some not so insignificant Labour figures, it has I think highlighted their desperation to get one over on the Greens, but when you dig into the story itself, you realise that actually it’s Labour it blows up in the face of. The Kent Online story is actually titled ‘Huge solar farm at Postling, near Folkestone, rejected by Council.’ And the story concerns one of those large solar farms I’m sure most of us have seen erected across farmland and in this case it was a 55 acre planned solar array, that’s the size of 30 football pitches and would have the capacity to supply clean, green energy to some 5,000 homes. However before you click on the article, as it appears on social media, the actual title of it isn’t presented to you on the thumbnail, instead the article is introduced as ‘Kent’s Green Council reject plans for huge solar farm.’ Now sure, it is a Green Council, but was it Green councillors that actually rejected it? Judging by the number of people who didn’t read past that title in the thumbnail, it’s enough to have people sneering at the Greens themselves over this and certain Labour figures who definitely know better than to read just such a headline and judge the entire story on that, have taken full advantage. The one name that jumped out to me on this was Mike Katz, who you might be familiar with, he’s usually running around accusing the left of being racist as Chair of Starmer’s go to antisemitism judges, the Jewish Labour Movement, where you need be neither Jewish nor in Labour to be a part of, and who were scathingly criticised in the Forde Report for their antisemitism training being poor. Let it never be said he’s not a loyal Labour sycophant himself though, as he saw this article and quote tweeted it as: ‘Ladies and gents, the 'progressive' Green Party in action... Right wing rag the Daily Mail is blaming those on sickness benefits for the nations economic woes instead of the Tories! Right, so the Tories electoral chances continue to fall, more and more it looks like Keir Starmer, despite being no different is going to win a landslide at their expense because people just want to look at someone else it seems even if nothing will change, so naturally the Tories go after the long term sick and disabled yet again, aided and abetted by the toxic right wing hack rags, chiefly the Daily Fail, in demonising those who are ill and rather than asking why they are ill, why this is happening and proposing solutions, or holding government to account for allowing this failure in the nations health, instead the blame is laid on those who are sick, implying they are lead swingers, skivers and shirkers and blaming the state of the economy even on them. The Tories will not do a damn thing to help people, engaging in a culture war instead to try and win votes through divide and rule and frankly Labour are no better on this topic either. Right, so the Daily Fail, if you need to stir the pot and have the national gammonati frothing over their Sunday roasts today, the Fail an always be relied upon to find something for them to blame other than the people actually running the country. Now I could start this by blaming justifiable causes for the economic flatlining we’re experiencing, I say flatlining, it’s not even that right now, we’re in recession, it’s worse than that, but I could blame Brexit, I could blame privatisation, I could blame failure to invest which would generate economic returns, I could blame tax cuts, which restrict government investment, I could blame the rich not getting taxed enough, I could blame the waste on pandemic VIP lanes, I could blame too many vacancies in certain sectors that can’t be filled due to a skills shortage and no training opportunities that people can afford to take up, I could blame prolific spending on failing vanity projects like Rwanda, I could blame arming Israel which has led to interrupted trade through the Red Sea, I could go on and on, I’m sure you can point to other examples of economic stupidity, where cash has been spent, result in not return, stoking inflation and killing off growth, which is itself finite anyway. But no, we can’t have the Tories being blamed for all that as the cause for economic calamity, they need a scapegoat and so the right wing hack machine grinds into its discriminatory first gear and well, we’re back yet again to blaming the long term sick, by basically claiming they aren’t sick at all. The Fail are claiming the country is now gripped by a sick note epidemic, as if doctors are handing these things out like candy for no reason whatsoever. The Anonyvoter vote rigging scandal localised in Croydon has now gone nationwide as two deselected MPs speak out. Right so, oh boy things are blowing up royally in Starmer’s Labour now as the Anonyvoter vote rigging scandal, which I’d said in a previous video would probably have wider reaching consequences than just vote rigging in one or two constituencies, since the system is used nationwide and whilst the police are now involved in investigating what exactly has happened in relation to this in Croydon East, the Labour Party’s marking its own homework on this matter exposed as a complete farce, two deselected left wing Labour MPs have now made their own accusations against Anonyvoter, blaming it for their deselections and when there are so many examples of accusations against Starmer’s regime of fixing election candidacies in favour of his preferred candidates, this scandal has the potential to keep on growing involve more and more former candidates and if it is exposed that Anonyvoter is to blame for delivering such preferred results, surely Starmer’s operation will be done for? Right, so Anonyvoter, I appreciate this story is still not getting a lot of mainstream coverage, however the latest revelations have bizarrely come from the Torygraph and my previous video was followed up by a mainstream media journalist looking into this as well from another paper, so I would expect some increase in coverage in this going forwards, but because we’re not there yet, Anonyvoter, for those not familiar, is the Labour party’s online voting system. Members can vote anonymously, so avoids the need to be at meeting in person, or avoids the awkwardness of voting publicly and avoid internal upsets. The problem with it is, that it appears to be at the centre of vote rigging because of that same anonymity, it’s not obvious necessarily when votes have been rigged, but in Corydon East it had become public that vote rigging was happening, one parliamentary candidate had been favoured with data other candidates hadn’t had and was able to take advantage of that, and Anonyvoter at least in part, is blamed for aiding in that, data manipulation and making matters worse is that the people who own the Anonyvoter system are based themselves in Croydon, one of whom was actually appointed by London Labour to oversee the investigation into the vote rigging, which was just ridiculous and his wife, a co-owner as I understand, is also a local Labour Councillor and was running for the London Assembly, so that election has now been messed up by association. Making matters all the worse, is that Anonyvoter was implemented early in Starmer’s leadership without tender and it’s awarding of this contract even bypassed the Labour Party National Executive Committee, which all screams something dodgy is afoot as I’m sure you can appreciate. The question of how this contract was awarded in which case then arises and frankly we don’t know, however, there is a former local Croydon councillor who fell afoul of financial irregularities on Croydon Council, who is both friends of the Anonyvoter owners and the also Croydon based Labour Party General Secretary David Evans. Failure to make sure aid gets in, failure to reason with Netanyahu in any meaningful way, Genocide Joe Biden is weak as sin. Right, so nothing quite says being in charge like Benjamin Netanyahu telling the US to go and do one as they beg and plead with the madman, with a nation that for three generations has been shielded from critique, from not going into a city where over a million people are crammed together and, well, doing something none of us really want to contemplate, but is still likely to go ahead and do it, because still there’s no will to stop them. Yesterday the US tried to con other countries into believing they were asking for a ceasefire, when still, it was all around Hamas having to release hostages first, something Russia and China vetoed for the transparently pathetic non ceasefire call that it was and Guyana abstained having given the US short shrift for it too. But evidently Netanyahu thinks he has nothing to fear from telling the likes of Biden and Blinken he’ll go into Rafah without them if needs be, it’s one city, it’s not a big city, it wouldn’t need that much in the way of ordinance to cause mass death and destruction, so perhaps we’re at the point where Israel doesn’t think it needs the US anymore, or is Netanyahu that desperate to hold onto power he will literally do or say anything to appease his coalition partners on the far right. Either way, as Biden and Blinken wring their hands over it, it just looks like the worlds greatest superpower, and the most powerful man on Earth is just Israel’s b*tch for not saying no and not moving heaven and Earth to protect the people of Rafah against a madman and his insane regime. Right, so Benjamin Netanyahu has told Antony Blinken, the US Secretary of State that he hopes the US will help him in Rafah, because he’s going in whether the US like it or not, because that’s the last holdout of Hamas, even though it is also the last holdout of most of the people of Gaza. I’m minded to think about the attacks on Al-Shifa hospital in the north of the Gaza strip that we’ve seen this week, the slaughter of people trying to flee, doctors and medical staff and patients, too, because Hamas were allegedly still there as well, so if their last holdout is in Rafah, why was that hospital targeted for the fourth time? Hamas is being used as an excuse to raze Gaza to the ground north to south, the devastation is virtually absolute and the but Hamas excuse just won’t wash anymore. What Israel has done in response to October 7th is so overwhelmingly disproportionate anyone going ‘but Hamas’ at this point is off their rocker. But given that the US supplies some 68% of all the arms Israel is using, imagine if Biden and Blinken actually found their collective spines and cut them off? Would that cause Israel some problems? Certainly if the US did that, other suppliers likely would too. Keir Starmer has decided now is the time to back a Gaza ceasefire, though still believes he was right to wait until now. Right, so Keir Starmer has appeared on Jeremy Vine’s show where he has sat there and talked about refusing to back a ceasefire in Gaza and his reasoning behind that, the logic as he saw it, the method to his madness, the only trouble is, it’s just gone to prove how absolutely deranged his logic actually is, how much he is taking us all for fools and basically presented a statement justifying how he was right to back what rapidly became obvious to being a genocide, where war crimes were quickly being identified as being committed, how he sees himself as having been on the right side of history then, by backing Israel’s genocidal actions before, but now all of a sudden he wants us to believe things have changed, when actually the only thing that has changed is the scale of the destruction and the death toll of innocent Gazan civilians that could have been avoidable if he had actually done the right thing and put people’s lives and not his loyalties to Israel first. Right, so that was Keir Starmer on the Jeremy Vine show yesterday morning and of course we’ve heard him speak on the Israel Gaza situation right now before and I have made many videos now holding his feet to the fire on this, our next in all likelihood Prime Minister for the abhorrent position he has taken and maintained since October 7th and of course he started in exactly that same way again here, his go to starting point is the terrorist attack as he put it, by Hamas on Israel and of course the implication there is that all of the fatalities seen are on Hamas, despite more and more evidence pointing to a lot of the fatalities being the responsibility of Israeli forces instead and of course the allegations that Israel knew this attack was coming, Egypt continue to claim Israel was warned by them in advance and there are also allegations that the US had done similarly. Hamas certainly didn’t go into the Nova music festival with helicopter gunships and tanks in the nearby kibbutzes, but Israel certainly did. Many of the bodies were so badly burned it took Israel 6 weeks to realise they had miscounted and had some 200 Hamas bodies that they thought were Israeli, a gaffe dropped by Israeli spokesperson Mark Regev, which revealed that Israel clearly had to have been the ones doing the burning, because Hamas wouldn’t have burned their own people, their aim was to take hostages to exchange for their own, which never got talked about in the mainstream media, Israel holding a great many more hostages in their prisons than Hamas are holding in Gaza. UN Security Council ceasefire vetoers the US have put forward a resolution of their own...which wasn't a ceasefire either & got vetoed! Right so, it’s UN Security Council voting on a ceasefire in Gaza time again and after 3 attempts to get such an resolution passed which demands an immediate ceasefire and with the US having vetoed this every single time, with the cost in innocent Palestinian lives those votes have been measured in, I can certainly appreciate this news being met with a great deal of scepticism, however this particular draft resolution for a ceasefire, is coming from the US itself and they are absolutely saying they are calling for an immediate ceasefire, but words matter, phraseology matters and when you actually look at what their resolution says, they are absolutely not calling for an immediate ceasefire, it is yet another fudge, primarily designed to my mind, to get the US itself off the hook for charges of complicity, whilst basically remaining complicit. Right, a little clip there from America’s second biggest cheerleader for Israel after Genocide Joe himself, the Secretary of State Antony Blinken last month criticising Russia for having blown parts of Ukraine, with special mention for schools and hospitals and blowing them to rubble being not normal. Well, I’m very much still waiting for you to say likewise about Israel, but I won’t hold my breath, it does very much expose the double standards on show here however and the exceptions the US along with other nations keep making for Israel right now. And so that brings us onto this draft resolution that the UN Security Council have voted on today, brought by the US, they say, calling for an immediate ceasefire linked to the release of all hostages held by Hamas. Except it doesn’t: So the US draft resolution bill didn’t actually call for an immediate ceasefire, it called for the imperative of an immediate ceasefire. So it wasn’t in and of itself calling for a ceasefire, just that a ceasefire needs to come soon and that this imperative, for that is all this resolution was, was contingent on the release of hostages. So, the hostages must be released in order for there to be a ceasefire then? Following up with supporting all diplomatic efforts to achieve a ceasefire also isn’t calling for one immediately. So what is different about this position now compared to the US position before, where things must go Israel’s way because this is surely a con? The US position on a ceasefire hasn’t actually shifted, they’ve just tried to use clever verbage to imply that it has. Well the UN Security Council wasn’t having any of it, so why should we? To my mind this is the US trying to get itself out of a legal wrangle, because by putting forward a resolution which the mainstream media have dutifully reported as calling for a ceasefire, the US can point to this as their attempt to get a ceasefire, therefore cannot be complicit in the genocide that continues each and every day that there is not a ceasefire. In light of recent rumours that Jeremy Corbyn will run as an independent, Labour have just suspended North Islington CLP. Right, so we’ve seen Starmer’s Labour shut down local Labour Party’s before, mainly to suit himself. So that he can impose control, impose others to deal with things there in order to quash opposing views on how the party is run, to impose candidates he favours over local selections, that’s been a familiar running story for quite some time. But now he’s gone for a biggie, as Starmer’s Labour have just suspended North Islington Constituency Labour Party, the local Labour Party of Jeremy Corbyn and the reasoning behind this move screams of Starmer’s absolute paranoia when it comes to Corbyn and the thought of him standing against Labour if needs be, in order to remain the representative of Islington North. Starmer is absolutely bricking it at the idea that Corbyn might stand against Labour but what can he possibly gain, by suspending the local Labour Party in which case? Right, so Starmer has suspended Islington North CLP in a ridiculous example of the man’s paranoia when it comes to Corbyn. Clearly Jez is still living rent free in his head and keeping him out of the parliamentary Labour Party so he can’t stand for Labour again, hasn’t gone as Starmer clearly hoped, evidently he hoped Corbyn’ decades long membership of the party would prevent him from standing as an independent and of course we haven’t yet had definitive confirmation that this is what Corbyn plans to do. So what has prompted this then? Well the other day there was a bit of excitement generated by the idea that Corbyn was standing again as an independent, because word got out, that someone had approached a local printer about the cost of producing sufficient election materials to mount a full election campaign. The printer it would appear, is a printer known to produce Labour’s election materials and apparently the person who approached is also known to the party. Now we know that Starmer has banned Corbyn from being able to stand as MP despite keeping him in the party, the assumption is he’s done this presumably because he felt this neutered Corbyn as a political adversary, let him stay in the party, but stop him representing them. This caused uproar in the local CLP, because it was felt that they were being told who could and couldn’t represent them, which is exactly what it was. More Labour racism issues arise with claims of race advisor Doreen Lawrence criticising Keir Starmer behind closed doors. Right, so Keir Starmer has been overseeing a hierarchy of racism in his Labour Party, this is not a secret, it is demonstrable fact, because there has been a pattern to it, from the authorisation of the Forde Report into Labour bullying and racism, to Starmer delaying the release of the findings of that report, presumably because he didn’t like them, to ignoring the recommendations of that report, to blanking the author Martin Forde himself. Then of course we have the disproportionate treatment of black and ethnic minority figures within the parliamentary Labour Party itself that we can point to, notably in recent news that has involved Diane Abbott, but she’s far from alone in that. Yet Starmer has managed to shield himself for the most from accusations of racism because of the support he has had from Doreen Lawrence, mother of murdered teen Stephen Lawrence and Labour’s race advisor, so broadly speaking, for as long as Starmer enjoys her support, accusations of being racist or presiding over a racist party can be deflected. However Lawrence, despite her ongoing public support for Starmer, has now been caught having said that Starmer doesn’t listen to her, so with so much to point to by way of a race problem in Starmer’s administration, exactly why does Doreen Lawrence still support him even after this latest example of Starmer’s hierarchy of racism has come out? Right, so that was Martin Forde KC, author of the Forde Report into Labour abuses and racism, that was commissioned by Keir Starmer, following the leaking of WhatsApps, the findings of another report essentially that Starmer’s Labour didn’t want publishing, because, presumably of what it contained, which turned out to be a litany of abuse, misogyny and hate speech, some racial, some derogatory towards protected characteristics, but it got leaked anyway, hence why it is most often referred to as the Labour Leaks Report. This led to the commissioning of the Forde Report, which, as Martin Forde stated, part of the remit, was to find out who leaked it and in fact as time has gone on, that’s really been the only bit Starmer has ever been concerned with, having taken several Labour staffers under Corbyn to court accusing them of leaking it, to no avail and wasting tens of thousands of pounds of party members dues in doing so and to this day we still do not know who actually leaked that report. But because of the other findings of the Forde Report, we know there was this hierarchy of racism, it is from this report that that phrase came into public discourse, public usage, because where antisemitism was prioritised, every other form of racism and attack on protected characteristics was considered secondary. Until recently, you only needed to visit the Labour Party complaints page to see that in force, because where antisemitism had a bespoke complaints option to expedite those complaints, no other form of racism or protection got the same treatment. Israel's smuggest of spokespeople Eylon Levy exceeded his position and it would appear has been given his marching orders. Right, so Israel’s most obnoxious mouthpiece the British born Eylon Levy has apparently been sacked by Benjamin Netanyahu after managing to upset the UK government, by getting into an argument on Twitter with David Cameron. The official line is he’s been suspended, but is unlikely to return, so is that just a very long winded way of saying sacked then? Levy has become well known as a literal apologist for anything, but has also been one of the most familiar faces on our telly’s because he’s basically capable of stringing together more than two words in English to go before English speaking cameras to propagate the propaganda and snake oil the Netanyahu regime wanted promoting. But given his only use to the Israeli government is his English speaking capabilities, when he’s managed to embarrass Israel by annoying one of the key English speaking governments, that happen to still be arming them, well, what use is he to them anymore? Right, so Eylon Levy, Benjamin Netanyahu’s favourite English speaking rent-a-gob, his go-to bullshi**er in chief, a guy who will do anything and say anything and literally defend anything in servitude to the Israeli regime, has been suspended, in a likelihood permanently is the narrative several media outlets are carrying, because of a stupid spat on Twitter of all things. It doesn’t matter how much drivel he’s peddled on the media that he hasn’t always been bright enough to refute, but he’s finally gone too far in having a pop at David Cameron of all people, the UK government, who have been nothing but slavishly loyal to the Israeli regime in backing them and supplying them with arms and military aid. What did he hope to achieve? Did his ego finally get the better of him? And indeed do we really care as long as he’s gone, we’re not going to miss him, frankly every day should be suspend Eylon Levy day. Fired as he seems to be, what else does permanent suspension imply? He’s only got himself to blame, his arrogance has been off the charts, for 5 months he’s had practically free reign across our mainstream media with next to no accountability and he finally got caught up in his own hype, his own lies, that have ended up bringing him down. So what happened then Damo? Well, It all began with a David Cameron tweet, Cameron put out a message saying: ‘People in Gaza are in desperate humanitarian need. Alongside the US, the UK and partners have announced we will open a maritime corridor to deliver aid directly to Gaza. Israel are wailing like big babies over Canada's latest ruling, as a vote has passed to stop arming the apartheid state. Right, so Canada, land of maple syrupy goodness, Ryan Reynolds, and a Prime Minister that we haven’t forgotten stood up and saluted a literal Nazi, which for many of us meant it was little surprise that Canada has also been supporting and arming Israel whilst committing it’s genocide of Gaza, but there’s been a shift and it’s not being widely reported here, because frankly it’d make us look bad and goodness we know our media don’t believe in holding our government to account on the international stage, but Canada have gone ahead and made the spoilt brat of nations, Israel have a toddler tantrum, spit its dummy and stamp it’s tiny feet in fury, because Canada have just opted to ban arms sales to Israel and that’s going to put a lot of political leaders, a lot of other nations in a very difficult position because by banning arms sales and laying out their justification for doing so now, it’s going to be very difficult for other nations to refute that, especially when all of us have seen what has been going on for months out there and are pretty much thinking, well it’s about time someone made a move on this, to stop arming Israel. Right, so Canada have moved to ban arms sales to Israel and about time too, though of course they aren’t the first. The Netherlands were stopped by a court order from continuing to arm Israel, supplying parts for F-35 bombers as they have been doing. Spain and Belgium had already ceased to do so, as had Japan, who’s Itochu Corporation ended a busi9ness partnership it had with Israeli weapons manufacturer Elbit Systems, who’s factories regularly get protested at here in the UK and a lot of other countries have said that they aren’t going to buy weapons from Israel any longer too – yes, they sold them as much as they bought them from the likes of us - but Canada has been a much bigger supplier, so this has had people made more aware of it, I won’t say widely, it’s not being covered widely, but of those aware it has had them sitting up and taking notice because a country like Canada has the capacity to embarrass other large suppliers for continuing to do so, such as the US who supply some 68% of Israel’s armaments, Germany, who had increased their supplies to Israel tenfold to supply 28% of their arms and of course the EU, France, Australia and certainly us here in the UK as well make up much of the rest, or our government do at any rate, most of us ordinary folk want it stopped already, but there’s been no sign of any desire to do so from either Rishi Sunak or Keir Starmer. It's not like this move has come about as a result of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau having a change of heart though, he’s running a minority government in Canada right now and is reliant on the support of the New Democratic Party to prop up his Liberal administration and it is one of the NDP ministers, Mélanie Joly, the Canadian foreign affairs minister, that has actually driven this. Rachel Reeves and Keir Starmer have announced that their plans for growth are to copy what Thatcher did in the 80's... Right, so Keir Starmer and Rachel Reeves have gone full Tory, despite Reeves’ desperate claims to hate the title Red Tory even though it fits her like a glove and nothing quite nails that statement down quite like telling the world that Margaret Thatcher was right. As much as I was brought up to not speak ill of the dead, it’s very difficult to not do so when it comes to Thatcher, the lives and livelihoods she destroyed in her ideological crusade to sell off every public asset not nailed down, the rampant unemployment and perhaps how avoidable that might have been if not for the Falklands War saving her backside. She might be dead and buried, people might well still cheer and celebrate that, but with Labour now taking the political position her Conservatives occupied, because the Tory Party under Sunak have gone so far to the right, she’s just been reincarnated as a nasally capitalist ex banker with a bob cut instead of a bouffant and if you’re voting Labour now, it’s a vote for Thatcher’s politics. Right, so Labour have been flirting with reflections of Thatcherism for long enough that it really ought to start ringing alarm bells in some heads. Starmer has said quite recently that Thatcher effected meaningful change and set loose Britain’s natural entrepreneurism, which is just the most pious drivel to most of us who grew up through those times. Meaningful change came in the form of mass unemployment, my dad amongst those 3 million people who lost their job during her decimating reign. Thatcher also oversaw two massive recessions which Thatcher used as the excuse for the mass selloff of all manner of public assets from BAE, to BT, BritOil, British Gas, British Airways, BP, British Steel, British Rail, you know the craic by now I’m sure and probably spotted something I missed out here too. Labour’s leadership are now celebrating their similarities with Thatcher, and Starmer has got a new slogan on the go now, promising a decade of national renewal. But if Reeves the banker and Starmer the economically illiterate think this is the answer, then they’re both deluded fools that a British public, after 14 years of economic failure and pain delivered as always by the Tories, will stand for any more failure, especially when so many, despite the warnings are putting so much stock in getting the Tories out to effect some meaningful change. They are in for a horrible shock when they realise nothing will actually change. Now much of this ire has come out from last night, when Rachel Reeves delivered the annual Mais Lecture, an address to Reeves old workmates, the bankers in the City of London, so it was always going to be a right wing philosophical love-in of the kind of politics they appreciate, the very fact Reeves was invited to deliver it should be a massive klaxon warning in all honesty. Labour's position on Gaza is coming up on the doorstep and this is the fate that awaits those prepared to door knock for them! Right, so we’re heading into a General Election at some point this year in all likelihood, it’s possible Rishi Sunak could push it back into January of next year, goodness knows he’s running away from it as much as he can, and laughing whenever he’s asked when he’s going to call it, the mandate deficient PM seemingly hell bent on holding onto power in the desperate hope that something will turn up to save his sorry unelected backside. But it means we’re getting a lot more junk mail coming through the door right now, election materials, goodness knows my Tory MP is desperate to be re-elected, along with the has been former Lib Dem MP desperate to make a comeback here despite having lost his seat for helping put the Tories in power to begin with back in 2010. The shameless pair of them can both take a hike, but along with the endless leaflets and begging letters, not to mention the infamous Lib Dem bar charts, canvassers will be out and about too, knocking on your door, bothering you when you’re trying to do you own thing, having your tea, chilling out and relaxing after work, wanting to ask questions and talk about politics of all things heaven forbid! Well, it looks like Labour canvassers might be a lot less keen to answer questions themselves that might be put to them, and despite knocking on your door to ask you stuff, doing it back to them as this hilarious video clip shows, they claim is harassment! Well given what you’re getting asked about and your Party position on it, I think you’d better get used to this. Right, so, this is a masterclass in how not to canvass and if this is going to be typical of the sort of door knocking reaction these Labour representatives are going to go with, they are going to have a truly miserable election period, because this is exactly how you hold these people and it could be any party actually, to account: I mean I get it, they want to scarper as soon as you say you won’t be voting Labour, I thought they were supposed to sell their case, but clearly the Gaza stance, ceasefires, this is ground these canvassers don’t want to get into a discussion on and I can imagine they’re being told up and down the country to avoid this topic like the plague, because they have no defence and Labour’s stance on it is so out of step with public opinion and that’s shown there by how desperately they are trying to say it’s above their pay grade and they can’t talk about it. Labour policy is literally what you are there to talk about. You turn up, if you’re the sort of canvasser that just asks are you voting Labour? Accusations of vote rigging in a Labour selection process last year have now prompted a cyber crime investigation by the Met Police. Right, so Labour corruption and candidacy vote rigging has become normalised under the Starmer regime, as only the most Starmery of candidates can get selected, goodness knows this channel has covered multiple examples of this happening across the country as Labour now only want compliant yes men in place who will do and say exactly as they are told and vote accordingly, such is the authoritarianism on show, but nothing we’ve seen thusfar has compared to the events in Croydon, notably Croydon East, where vote rigging became so blatant and obvious that the entire selection process for the Croydon East Labour parliamentary candidate has had to be abandoned, the mess there, linked heavily to the Labour Party Anonyvoter online voting system which is widely blamed for enabling the corruption, the owners of which are themselves based in Croydon, one of whom is running for the London Assembly, so those elections have now been thrown into chaos and they all have ties to Labour’s Croydon based General Secretary and Starmer sidekick David Evans! In which case, with so many links to so many significant Labour figures, should we really be surprised that things are now so serious that the Met Police are carrying out an investigation? Right, so the mess, the absolute carnage that has been the Croydon East selection process for Labour’s parliamentary candidate there, is now subject to a police investigation and this could be catastrophically bad news for Starmer and Co, since it is the cyber crime unit at Scotland Yard who are doing the investigating, therefore, it seems logical based on what we know already that has gone on in Croydon, that it is Labour’s national online voting system, Anonyvoter, that is being investigated. If you’re not familiar with the story up until now, the whole affair centres around allegations of candidate tampering, insofar that one candidate had been heavily favoured over all others and the allegations of vote tampering, have been aimed at the officials overseeing the selection. Now being a London seat, London Labour once again are involved here, they had imposed new officers on the Constituency Party to oversee this, given that boundary changes are involved here, so they were able to do so, but as per usual they did this without members getting a say in the matter. The allegations that followed when things came to voting on the candidate are that votes were cast on behalf of people without their knowledge and that membership data had been tampered with beforehand, to try and rig a desired outcome, by a factional few. Now London Labour have been accused of this before, so following the abandonment of proceedings due to public outcry and investigation was launched by the party, however they appointed London Labour to do the investigating! That went down about as well as you can imagine. Despite Starmer's Labour having rammed through their version of a ceasefire, suspensions continue for backing one it seems. Right, so Labour suspensions or expulsions based on support for Gaza and for a ceasefire in Gaza should be a thing of the past now that the parliamentary party and Keir Starmer have formally backed one, albeit on their own terms by hijacking an SNP Opposition Day to do so, as they did last month, so surely speaking up for Gaza and demanding others do likewise now a ceasefire position has been reached should be a thing of the past? Well no, it isn’t as events on Hounslow Borough Council have exploded, with divisions wrought amongst Muslim Labour Councillors, two abstaining Labour MPs that are opposed for their abstentions on Gaza are now being shielded with apparent hypocrisy by some who claim to want a Gaza ceasefire who have turned against one of their own and two councillors at the centre of this have now been suspended, one indefinitely, the other having quit altogether. This is amongst the most vicious Labour infighting over the subject of Gaza I’ve heard of to date, where those demanding a ceasefire are the ones being punished. Right, so what’s this one about then Damo, Labour back a ceasefire now, why are people still getting the treatment for backing what is party position now? Well it’s another council cracking up under the strain of Labour’s ‘do they back a ceasefire really or are they just saying it?’ attitude, because the ceasefire called for, isn’t really one, when it scuppered a proper ceasefire motion in order to push through a heavily watered down amendment, as we saw Starmer organise last month, leaning on Lindsay Hoyle as it appeared that he did, in order to get his way. It needs to be made clear though that despite that, this latest mess is happening on a Labour run council, massively so, with a sizeable Muslim representation on it to boot, and indeed one of the two councillors at the centre of this is Muslim themselves. We’ll start with them. This individual concerned is Councillor Amrit Mann, who has represented Labour and his constituents in Heston East on Hounslow Borough Council for the last 30 years. He was the mayor of Hounslow from 2011/12 and has served as the Deputy Mayor since 2014 and he committed the cardinal sin of backing a ceasefire, and called out others who had backed one before by their actions in calling out the two borough MPs for their previous abstentions, for not later doing so and the councillors concerned in that hypocrisy, were also members of the Mosque Committee with links to Hounslow Borough Council. As clues emerge pointing to a possible Corbyn independent run at Islington North, Starmer's options include a hilarious possibility. Right, so there have been some developments surrounding the possibility of Jeremy Corbyn running as an independent to retain his seat of Islington North, the constituency where he has been the MP for the last 41 years, knowing as we did that Starmer was blocking him from running as a Labour candidate, having singled him out for that special treatment, but of course we now have Diane Abbott in exactly the same boat – both of the left, both suspended arbitrarily on Starmer’s say so, abusing his executive power, keeping both in the party, but blocking them from sitting as such in parliament and by default standing for parliament again. We know Corbyn is being left in that position, Starmer has said as much, but Diane Abbott is another story and to do that to her, in light of recent abuse, will blow up in Starmer’s face in my view. However, when it comes to Labour therefore selecting a replacement for Corbyn to stand for Labour, much discussion has come from frankly who’d dare go for it given that Corbyn is so popular locally, who would be foolish enough to give it a try? Well fortunately for Team Keith, there is someone sufficiently desperate enough to become a Labour MP to have a crack at it it seems, so has Starmer finally found his useful idiot to challenge Jeremy Corbyn? Right, so the will he or won’t he saga of Jeremy Corbyn running as an independent come the next General Election. To do so, he would have to formally resign his membership of the Labour Party, a party he has been a member of for most of his own life, he’s 74 now and has been a member since he was 16, so it’d be a huge wrench despite all that has been done to him as I’m sure you can appreciate. But we do appear to have some new developments on this. Corbyn has refused to rule out standing again, he’s also always shunned the idea of ever retiring, so the debate about what he’d do knowing both of those things has had people pondering for months. Would he stand again? Would he go for the London mayoralty instead? Well he hasn’t done that. But now apparently enquiries have been made to a printing firm asking if they would be prepared to produce election materials for an independent candidate in Islington North, which include some 40,000 leaflets, 2,000 posters, 5,000 round candidate stickers and 500 lawn signs, so very much on the scale of a full general election campaign. Now all of this information has come out by way of leaked emails, which Corbyn has denied sanctioning, however, he has had issued a statement following these emails and the details they contain, purportedly from a local activist. Corbyn’s statement reads: ‘Jeremy is immensely proud to be the MP for Islington North and has spent the past 40 years fighting alongside his community for a better world. He is focused on that work, campaigning on the issues facing his constituents and doing his utmost to help those in need. Reform UK have brought on board former Australian soap actress Holly Valance, but if they thought this was some kind of win... Right, so nothing quite reads as hilariously as an immigrant joining the vehemently anti migrant Reform UK, having just signed up the Leeanderthal Lee Anderson as their first MP, hardly a guy known for sympathising with migrants, but it’s all OK, because this particular immigrant is white I suppose and is married to a billionaire, so who knows? Big donations winging their way to Reform UK coffers soon, well it means Richard Tice won’t have to keep self financing the operation! The immigrant in question is Australian former singer and actress Holly Valance, who has become more well known for spouting right wing drivel as opposed to displaying any discernible entertainment talent, but if this is what Reform UK are hoping will be a winning coup, taking on Valance as a high profile member, then what comes out of her mouth really ought to serve as a warning. Right so Holly Valance, she seemed like such a nice girl on Neighbours once upon a time didn’t she? Well now she’s joined Reform UK and wants Nigel Farage to return to lead it, all despite being an immigrant herself, joining an anti-migrant party, but then she’s white and speaks English so she’s their sort of immigrant. She married big money, I can’t imagine what drew her to lockdown party rulebreaker and billionaire property tycoon Nick Candy and so there’s a potential new big donor for the party too. Now it wasn’t that long ago that Valance had us all in fits after attending the launch of the Popular Conservatives Movement, because of course she was there, hubby Nick Candy is a longtime Tory donor and she had some rather interesting things to tell to GB News, who absolutely love her: Well what a surprise, marrying a billionaire and having made probably not a bad income through her own fame beforehand as a poundshop Kylie Minogue led to her it would appear not be too keen to part with her money, certainly that’s how it comes across. Finding Liz Truss interesting is something I can only fathom would be true from a position of scientific experimentation, trying to work out how somebody so woefully out of her depth ever managed to get so far in life and as for wanting to see the haunted pencil Jacob Rees-Mogg as Prime Minister, well, with an attitude like that, she’ll be on Question Time before long, wouldn’t that be fun! But of course, this isn’t therefore somebody to take seriously, this is somebody driven completely by self interest and nothing proves that than going from heralding Liz Truss and Mogg, to joining Reform UK and pushing for the return of Nigel Farage, because evidently this is in little miss I’m rich’s self interest. Video footage from 2021 highlights a disturbing new insight into Keir Starmer's relationship with the Israel regime. Right, so Keir Starmer’s relationship with Israel has become a graver cause for concern since the events of October 7th broke out. We already knew he was a Zionist without qualification - his own words – and of course he has opposed a ceasefire there, a meaningful one certainly, firstly in wanting just humanitarian pauses and then coming out in support of a ceasefire though not when and not for how long either, though that entire episode seemed to be more along the lines of an intention to scupper an SNP ceasefire motion which called for one that was immediate and permanent and more worrying than anything else, appeared to come after he said he had spoken to the President of Israel, Isaac Herzog, the kind of guy who signs bombs before they get dropped on Gaza, who faces criminal charges in Switzerland we know nothing of the details of, and who said on video every Gazan is guilty of being party to Hamas, which when half the population are under 18, is disgusting and as such formed part of the case South Africa brought against Israel in January. But now video has emerged of Starmer addressing Labour Friends of Israel, extolling their virtues and discussing Labour parliamentary candidates being sent to Israel, seemingly for instruction. So just how deep in hoc to Israel is Starmer’s regime and how disturbed should we be by this? Right, so video has emerged of Keir Starmer addressing Labour Friends of Israel conference, extolling the virtues as he sees it of the group and giving further insight to suspicions that this guy’s loyalty to the apartheid regime committing genocide in Gaza is pretty much unshakable. Take a look at this: Now despite loyalists to Starmer and to Labour making claims that this is some kind of deep fake, it isn’t, that clip is actually taken from a longer video which Starmer sent to address Labour Friends of Israel’s Conference back in 2021, so isn’t recent, but does go to show his attitude towards a group who heavily influence Labour policy, regularly have affiliated MPs platformed on media shows and in the papers, enjoy paid for jollies to Israel and are heavily lobbied by them, many of their donors come from affiliated and supportive bodies and there very much appears to be a culture of being looked after if your interests align with those of Israel. This was also dramatically exposed by the activities of such MPs and Israel loyalists in the party during Corbyn’s tenure in charge, antisemitism weaponised against him in no small part many believe because of Corbyn’s longstanding support for the oppressed Palestinian people who have lived under apartheid and Israeli occupation for decades. From Michael Gove's redefining of extremism to Melanie Phillips on BBC Question Time, extreme views keep getting mainstreamed. Right, so Michael Gove, a man I’ve compared to the children’s puppet character Pob in the past, but who looks more and more like a melted candle with every passing day, wants to tackle extremism! Well he could start with his own party, he should start with his own party after 14 years of decimating public services, inflicting mass poverty on those with the least whilst enriching those with more than enough, introducing pernicious human rights abusing legislation, from Rwanda flights to crackdowns on the right to protest, there’s no shortage of options to choose from to justify adding the Conservative Party to a list of extremist organisations in my view. Still, that’s never what Michael Gove is going for and in fact he’s managed to unite people from across the political spectrum, left to right, against him, because of his arbitrary, racist and highly selective choices for what he considers extremist, making a mockery of what he says he wants to do. However if you really want to get to the bottom of extremism and deal with it meaningfully, then the biggest spreaders of extreme views are those that platform it, in our media, both in print and on screen and none proved the necessity of that better than the BBC did last night on Question Time. Right, so Michael Gove, comedy gold on the dance floor, not so much in parliament, has unveiled a list of organisations that he considers extremist and it’s annoyed just about everyone. You’ve got civil rights groups kicking off over it, you’ve got Muslim community groups kicking off over it, you’ve got the Independent Reviewer of Terrorism Legislation kicking off over it, you’ve even got Priti Patel kicking off over it and she was the one who kicked off the Rwanda deportation business, so it very much looks like a Colombian marching powder induced piece of legislation, clearly not thought through with clear thought and sound mind at any rate. The reason they’ve all kicked off, is because rather than measuring extremism by actions committed, Gove is instead changing to an ideology based approach. In other words what an organisation says it is about matters more than anything they actually do. Now this is inherently problematic because you’re going to ban people or organisations based on their thinking, rather than actions taken, potential criminality committed. It’s Minority Report stuff again, thought police and functionally just clamps down freedom of speech and expression again, something we’ve become accustomed to the Tories doing. So who are the affected organisations now and going forward, well here’s an excerpt from the Guardian – for once just laying out the facts rather than spinning it: ‘The government stated that impartial officials will be conducting a rigorous assessment in the next few weeks to determine who falls under the auspices of this new definition. Socialist former Labour MP under Corbyn now councillor Laura Smith, has dramatically quit the Party with a scorching resignation! Right, so another blazing resignation from Starmer’s Labour Party in disgust, another councillor in fact, this time on Cheshire East Council, but this particular councillor is a lot better known than most, especially to the left of the Party, the socialists amongst us, because this particular councillor also happens to be a former MP, the MP for Crewe and Nantwich as she was, Laura Smith. She’s been suspended by the party for breaking the Labour whip on the Council, she refused to vote through a Toryesque austerity budget, that Labour were trying to drive through council! The Tories and Labour on the same page, well colour me surprised! Smith has said she’s no hypocrite and she’s given her party both barrels for this suspension and an excoriating resignation letter has followed. Right, so Laura Smith is not mucking about, her resignation letter is every bit as eloquent as it is utterly damning of what has become of the Labour Party, Cheshire East Labour seemingly typical of the new Starmerroid vision of veering right, with a significant authoritarian streak down the middle for anyone daring to have opposing opinions or stepping out of line. Having been suspended for breaking the Labour Party whip on what was an austerity budget being put forward by Labour, Cheshire East Council being a no overall control party, but led by a Labour and Independent councillor coalition, despite the Tories actually being the largest party. But with this Labour led coalition pushing through an austerity budget, it's like the Tories, who were dumped out of control of the council when these seats were last contested in 2019, never left! Smith has had none of it and won’t be a hypocrite about it either. Her resignation letter made public earlier reads: ‘I entered mainstream politics back in 2017 after years of activism in social justice movements after growing up in a family of trade union and socialist values. I stuffed leaflets in the Labour Party envelopes and served tea and biscuits at the meetings of the local group as a child and some of my earliest memories were of Saturday’s spent in the car with my dad as he drove Gwyneth Dunwoody, the MP at the time around the constituency. I knew my core values from a very early age and I knew from the feeling in the pit of my stomach that my fight was always going to be equality and social justice. I experience many things growing up that further shaped my beliefs and that feeling only grew as I became an adult. Being supported by my local Labour Party and then becoming an MP representing my home towns was something that I couldn’t ever have imagined. As someone from a challenging background and always struggling to make ends meet, it wasn’t a future I felt was possible. Allegations are now being made that Keir Starmer will restore the whip to Diane Abbott, but there's a catch... Right, so if you thought the abuse of Diane Abbott by her own Party, never mind the abuse the mainstream media are fixated upon aimed at her from the Tories and their awful donor, was bad enough; Keir Starmer has just sunk to an all time low concerning his and his party’s treatment her, continuing to ignore her suspension, talking about her instead of to her, but now they’re weaponizing the abuse she received from Tory donor Frank Hester to raise money. They won’t admit her back to the parliamentary party, Labour itself is complicit in much of the abuse Abbott has faced over the last several years, but despite that, this amoral, racist party is still prepared to use her name to appeal to you for donations, but something even worse than this is now rumoured and if true, should bring the entire Labour Party anti racist performative nonsense crashing down around Keir Starmer’s ears. Right, so sorry Diane, we won’t talk to you, we’ll continue to pretend you don’t exist, we’re going to keep you suspended because really we just want to deselect you and be rid of you, oh but we’re still going to trade on your good name and reputation and also cash in on the abuse you have suffered for our ends, because we the Labour Party see this as an opportunity to appeal for funds. Anyone giving money to Labour because the Tories abused Diane Abbott are ignorant of the fact that Labour have been and are still abusing Diane Abbott more than the Tories ever have. She was suspended for sending the wrong copy of a letter to a newspaper, which made claims she didn’t mean, apologised and retracted within hours if not minutes and still she got suspended. A year later she remains suspended her case not having been dealt with, her suspension with every passing day becoming more and more obviously a means to ensure she cannot stand again for Hackney North and Stoke Newington, an incredibly safe Labour seat because they have an incredibly good local Labour MP. Despite everything that has happened concerning Frank Hester, the Tories biggest ever donor, which I covered in another video, there has been no communication between anyone on the shadow cabinet and Diane Abbott. She’s still a Labour member even if she can’t sit as one right now. If we’d been on the receiving end of abuse, we’d hope our colleagues would be there for us, but she’s left alone, not even a message from Starmer, her party leader, who she called out on breakfast news in a statement read out, calling on him to offer his support. There has been none. He has still not publicly offered her and support and indeed such was the case at PMQ’s yesterday, where once more the abuse of Diane Abbott was on show. Starmer is getting away with abusing the rules again, as his referral for allegedly threatening the Speaker falls through. Right, so despite strong allegations that Keir Starmer pressured the Speaker of the House of Commons Lindsay Hoyle to abandon precedent and set aside a standing order put forward by Labour on an SNP Opposition Day debate, in order to scupper a meaningful vote on an immediate ceasefire, precedent now matters again to the three Deputy Speakers who have all opted to not allow a vote to refer Starmer to the Privileges Committee accusing him of having pressured the Speaker. Not only is this appalling to observers, who are seeing Deputy Speakers effectively rally to protect their boss Hoyle, but it has shown Keir Starmer that if he did indeed pressure Hoyle, he’s got away with it and can do so again anytime he wishes. Rules were abused to allow Starmer to get his own way, the accusations against him were strong enough it earned him a referral to the Privileges Committee and now the rules are being buried again to cover it all up. That’s what it feels like to me, a cover up, to arguably save Hoyle, save what went on between him and Starmer ever becoming public, but it is a conversation there is public interest in getting to the bottom of and it shouldn’t be allowed to be swept under the carpet, the situation making it clear neither Starmer nor Hoyle are fit for office. Right, so we’re back to Keir Starmer, Lindsay Hoyle and that SNP ceasefire vote which Labour effectively hijacked. The SNP were bringing a ceasefire vote as an Opposition Day motion, they only get 3 of these Opposition Day debates versus Labour getting 17 of them, so to use one to call for a ceasefire in Gaza was a big deal, but they got well and truly shafted. Rules you see. House of Commons Standing Orders are rules and Standing 31 relates to Opposition Day debates where, to give the relevant party its say on its day, the rule is according to the standing order, that their motion will be heard first in the event that the government lays down an amendment, and if the government lays down an amendment, no other opposition parties get their heard, because by convention, their amendment would have to be heard before the motion. No good on an Opposition Day debate, because the relevant party, in this case the SNP, could see their motion amended before they even bring it. It’s their day. Hence the need for exceptional rules on Opposition Days. This got set aside arbitrarily by Hoyle apparently after Starmer leant on him. The official line is that Starmer convinced him somehow, no details given, but the allegations are that Starmer threatened him, threatened Hoyle that Labour would withdraw support for him following the next General Election, where the Speaker once more must be selected and Hoyle would quite like to stay in post. What we saw here was a blatant breaking of convention and the rules. For a start, to set aside a standing order should have required a vote. Keir Starmer's Labour has no moral high ground calling out Tory abuse of Diane Abbott, when they've dealt out plenty themselves. Right, so again Diane Abbott, Britain’s longest serving black MP, first female black MP ever elected to parliament, is once again being used as a political football for racists and the Tory Party is deservedly getting roasted for it, the comments coming from their biggest donor, Frank Hester, clearly racist, prompting calls for the Tories to return the donations they’ve received from him and address the government contracts he has been the recipient of, private donations from wealthy individuals to political parties aren’t for nothing after all. For all the deserved condemnation that the Tories are getting over this though, the one place there is no moral high ground to do so however, is from the Labour Party itself, Diane Abbott’s own party, though of course she remains suspended for the heinous crime of having sent the wrong copy of a letter she wrote to a newspaper in reply to one of it’s stories. The draft sent blatantly used to take down one of Keir Starmer’s most publicly vocal critics as Abbott has been. But of course that’s only part of the story, because Diane Abbott is the most abused MP in parliament, a single woman of 70 years of age, regularly being verbally attacked, abused and insulted and made a target of when so much is being made right now about MPs security and safety. It doesn’t count for the likes of Diane Abbott and when so much of that abuse has come from her own party, some of the hypocrisy on show as they attack the Tories now over Abbott is just stupefying and as two faced as you get. Meanwhile the one place she should expect to get support from as a Labour member, is from Starmer himself, but of course as ever, he’s nowhere to be seen. Right, so the Tories are in trouble across all the newspapers and TV news today over remarks made by their biggest donor, Frank Hester, towards Diane Abbott. By now if you’ve seen the news, you’ll know Hester has donated £10m to the Tories over the past year and has secured tens of millions of pounds of government contracts, he literally made his fortune in government contracts, his fortune is built on public money, on profits from such contracts, because frankly why else do most of us think they donate money these days, not least to the party in government? If pro Israel Keir Starmer thought wishing Muslims a Happy Ramadan would help him win back support, he thought BADLY wrong! Right, so Keir Starmer being a deceitful lying charlatan who will do or say anything to get into power is not a message regular viewers of this channel need reminding of, but nothing has been turning people off him and Labour generally faster than his conduct regarding Israel and Palestine, Israel and Gaza particularly since the events of October 7th. Starmer said Israel had the right to commit war crimes and has never apologised for it. He has supported the continued arming of Israel saying it has a right to defend itself, even now, 5 months on as the Gaza Strip has been razed from north to south. He’s opposed ceasefires to the fury of members and elected representatives of the Labour Party, overseeing scores of resignations and even faces allegations of threatening the Speaker of the House of Commons, for not allowing a Labour amendment, on an SNP opposition day, which used the cover of Islamophobia, of alleged terrorist threats that we knew nothing of before and have not been followed up on since to all appearances, to excuse itself. So deciding at the start of Ramadan, the Muslim Holy Month, without a much hoped for ceasefire being put in place ahead of it beginning, to put out a message of best wishes to Muslims has gone down as badly as it deserved to. Right, so of all people to send out a tweet wishing Muslim Communities well right now, the last person many of them will want to hear from is Keir Starmer, as has certainly been the case since this aired: That video deserves to haunt Starmer forever. It heralded the collapse in Muslim support for Labour, that has now fallen to half of what it was under Jeremy Corbyn and to this day, Starmer has not apologised for saying what he did, instead he has denied he ever said it, denied he ever said Israel has the right to withdraw food and water from Gaza as an occupying force, denied saying he supported collective punishment his knowledge of international humanitarian law, despite being a former human rights lawyer, clearly sorely lacking. Worse than his words on this matter though, awful as they are, have been his actions, they do speak louder than words after all. Starmer has refused to back a ceasefire, backing only humanitarian pauses, so that Israel can go right back to bombing Gaza after dropping some aid in. He lost 10 frontbenchers last November when he whipped to abstain on the SNP amendment calling for a permanent ceasefire, he was set to lose more last month, facing a rebellion within the Labour ranks not seen since the days of the Iraq War as the SNP used an opposition day to bring a permanent ceasefire motion, which with the government also tabling an amendment, meant Labour’s by convention should not have been heard. Lee Anderson' has only ever been concerned with himself, so as politics drifts further right, of course he joins a more right wing party. Right, so Lee Anderson has defected to Reform UK, who have of course welcomed him with open arms and given them their first MP. With politics in the UK having been dragged further and further to the right over 14 years of Tory rule, with Labour having been dragged further right with it under the Torylitism of Keir Starmer and the desperation to paint Corbyn’s time in charge as a mistake, with both main parties facing issues with voters, though especially the Tories, Anderson moving to the next populist establishment party is natural progression for him, not only in terms of political survival, but because of where he’s come from to where he is now. He knows he’s losing his seat under the Tories, he knows Reform UK are on the rise and he has in part played a role in that, working for one of the two inverted commas news channels that heavily push and promote Reform, platforms the right have that the left don’t, but he himself has not changed, even if the shade of blue on his rosette has. If Reform UK are the sort of party that welcomes someone as serially rancid as Lee Anderson, are you sure they’re really an alternative? I’d say Anderson’s defection to them says they’re just the natural progression for his establishment politics and perhaps more Tories are set to follow too as that party verges on total collapse. Right, so Lee Anderson, the Leeanderthal has defected from the Tories to Reform UK, the private company that masquerades as a political party, basically owned by Talk TV’s Richard Tice, so no surprise that channel is responsible for some serious promotion of said Party and has become a source of appeal for the hard right of the Tory Party, attracting Anderson, on course under the Tories to lose his seat with certainty, to join them instead, but actually if you look back at Anderson’s career, he’s living proof that the far right exists in every mainstream party, they’ve been allowed to propagate and persist, the media have encouraged it because their offensiveness and mouthiness and pushing the boundaries of decency sells papers. Anderson wasn’t always like this though, but what has been a mainstay is his pursuit of populism. The former coal miner was, back then, a member of Arthur Scargill’s NUM, the National Union of Mineworkers, taking it to the bog witch who was at that Prime Minister, Margaret Thatcher. Anderson was a Labour member, he campaigned for Michael Foot of all people, but the shift came later on, something in his psyche switched him from being left wing in his youth, to not only being right wing, but one of the worst right wingers going. Starmer's Labour via shadow Chancellor Rachel Reeves have announced where they think economic growth will come from. Be afraid. Right, so Keir Starmer has deployed his toilet frequenting chancer of a shadow Chancellor Rachel Reeves to do the Sunday morning shows today and Labour’s plan for growth was finally unveiled, which, as it turns out is exactly the sort of inane Thatcherite drivel too many of us on the left expected it to be, amounting to more trickle down economics, big business doing all the investment so that the government isn’t and we’re expected to believe that this time, this time it’ll work, this time business will share the wealth and we’re all supposed to believe that a party that won’t introduce a wealth tax will definitely make businesses pay what they are supposed to this time. We’re talking PFI for big business here in effect, it never worked under the Tories, it never worked under New Labour, all it did was create more donors for both main parties as the country goes to the dogs and Keir Starmer and Rachel Reeves are sadly just as greed driven as their predecessors. Right, so Rachel Reeves has done the studio tours this morning, had a spot of bother on Sky who cut her off due to technical issues, they looked at what she was saying and even the computer said no, though sadly too many just intent on getting the Tories out are just going to vote another set of Tories in if they decide to throw their votes Keir Starmer’s way. Reeves was doing the rounds and talking about her National Wealth Fund. Now that phrase in and of itself to my ears was very reminiscent of the Corbyn era policy of a national investment bank and smaller regional investment banks across the country, which would have been funded by public spending, always misleadingly called borrowing, which is stupid when we literally print the money so borrowing from ourselves, owing to ourselves and actually not needing to pay it back if as was the intention, it generated a return by supporting businesses to get off the ground nationally and regionally increasing tax take, thereby offsetting the money ‘borrowed’ to set it up. All the benefit would be to us and to the public purse, so naturally it had to be hammered as unaffordable, as bankrupting the nation, as maxxing out the nations credit card. A country that can produce it’s own currency as we can, can never go bankrupt, and there’s no credit card, just a magic money tree called the Bank of England. Anyway, Starmer and Reeves as you might have guessed, their National Wealth Fund, whilst superficially sounding like the idea of Jeremy Corbyn and John McDonnell is nothing like that and she said as much to Laura Kuenssberg.
