There is no defending Israel whilst withholding legal advice which the Tories claim to be adhering to and Oliver Dowden knows it. Right, so imagine you go onto do the Sunday morning politics rounds and you get presented with the death toll to aid workers in Gaza at the hands of Israeli forces. Imagine you get asked about that in the context of the legal advice you’ve been given, legal advice which of course we know the Tories continue to refuse to publish and get asked to justify that lack of transparency in the context of those deaths, which of course under international humanitarian law, are never events. The honest answer of course, the only answer, is that all of those deaths are obviously war crimes and Israel has to be held responsible for them as part of a wider investigation into the litany of war crimes they have committed, but the Tory answer as delivered this morning? Those humanitarian deaths are apparently justified, because Israel has a right to defend itself, even against people it illegally occupies. This was a truly rancid interview, mind your blood pressure. Right, so that was of course Tory Deputy Leader Oliver Dowden there appearing to justify the deaths of aid workers in the context of Israel’s right to defend itself despite that very much being against humanitarian law, but he just couldn’t bring himself to say that, could he? He was simply asked if Israel is acting within international humanitarian law in regard to the deaths of those aid workers and the answer is always no, we know what the law says in regards to aid workers, so it should have been a straightforward no. But this is a Tory, this is a guy, who gets sent oout on the media rounds because he can do the full on waffle and bluster routine and he came out with several points, but all of which can only ever be read as justification for the deaths of those aid workers in this context and he just never should have gone there. We know what the law is, but Dowden decided to hide behind the fact the government are not publishing the legal advice they have received. They can keep sticking to that line if they like, we know the chair of the foreign affairs select committee Alicia Kearns said on leaked audio back on the 13th March that the government advice had been that Israel are in breach of international law and indeed the law itself is not hidden from us. If the government had been told anything different it would be bad advice, particularly in the context of the deaths of aid workers, not to mention other protected groups like health workers and journalists. So saying we’re not pre-empting or not second guessing government advice simply doesn’t wash, because the law is what it is, we know it is illegal to kill aid workers, so the advice the government have been given is irrelevant, particularly since the question was put to Dowden for HIS view. Deciding to hide behind the government line though says much more about him. Iran is planning a response against Israel for striking their Syrian embassy, and the US are NOT going to come to the rescue? Right, so I have to admit to having been a bit sceptical over this story, but I decided to dig into it given that this has been reported by the official BRICS News Twitter account, a verified account with the gold tick such accounts have these days since Elon Musk sold blue ticks. The more I’ve dug into it though, the more it kind of makes sense, that in light of the historically low move by Israel, the act of terrorism as it was fundamentally in striking the Iranian Embassy in the Syrian capital of Damascus, that a deal between the US and Iran has been done if Iran decides to retaliate against Israel as has been threatened. It might sound counter to everything the US have done regarding Israel so far, but from the point of view of looking after themselves, there could be a logical conclusion to draw from this, though certainly there are other media saying the complete opposite right now, but see what you make of this story. Right, so the US doing deals with Iran, can you imagine it? Probably not to be honest with you, especially if it is a choice between Israel and Iran and who they choose to back up between those two options, but as relations become more and more strained between the US and Netanyahu’s crazed genocidal regime – not that that has stopped the arms sales of course – could there be a bit of an enough is enough moment here, especially given the circumstances of Israel’s attack on Iran by of all things, targeting an embassy, the deliberate targeting of which is a world history first, no nation has ever stooped so low as to target the embassy of a country, that just happens to be in another country the aggressor is at war with. It shows a level of depravity, of not caring about the repercussions and with Israel seemingly always backed up by the US, is that the reason Israel are so emboldened to take things as far as they do? How do you deal with such a country? I make the comparison between Israel behaving like a spoilt brat on numerous videos, with the US the cossetting parent, but how do you break that cycle? You make the badly behaved child, or nation, face up to the consequences and learn from it. Perhaps that is what we’re seeing here, at least partly at any rate. You see this story is currently being carried by BRICS News, the official account of all things to do with the BRICS nations, BRICS standing for Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa, the 5 founding nations, but which now includes amongst others, Iran. Developing economies, an economic body as BRICS ostensibly is, it is being drawn into this Middle East crisis more and more, from the South Africa vs Israel International Court of Justice case, to Russian warships aiding the Houthis in Yemen, the Houthis also in talks with BRICS more directly, so potential membership for them on the horizon maybe? Right, so if you thought we’d moved on from that mess of an SNP ceasefire motion, where on their opposition day, they ended up having their own motion hijacked by Labour, with help from the weakling Speaker of the House of Commons Lindsay Hoyle, to push through a Labour amendment instead, something which in the case of an opposition day debate, was against the standing orders, the established rules of the House of Commons. With attempts to get Starmer referred to the Privileges Committee for investigation having been blocked, conveniently for Hoyle by his deputy speakers, it has very much looked like Starmer had got away with whatever he said to Hoyle to get him to set aside the standing orders blocking a Labour amendment on this SNP motion, a motion which looked likely to cause a massive rebellion amongst Labour backbenchers, and likely more resignations from the frontbench. Well it seems the story isn’t over yet, as another attempt to bring Starmer and Hoyle to book for what happened here is in the offing and in the interests of democracy, we really do need to know what Starmer did and why Hoyle capitulated to break the rules here, because nobody was buying his Islamophobic excuse to get himself off the hook here either. Right, so CeasefireGate, it’s not over yet folks, as allegations of intimidation in parliament simply cannot be allowed to be gotten away with. Now I’m sure the bit you all remember, that stuck in the mind is the SNP and the Tories marching out of the Commons chamber on SNP Opposition Day back on the 21st of February, after Labour were allowed to bring an amendment to the SNP ceasefire motion, on SNP Opposition Day. Now convention on opposition days. Is that where typically amendments to any motion are heard and voted on first, that isn’t the case here. The opposition party in question bringing the motion, brings it first, it can then be amended after, if the amendment selected passes. The government if they lay down an amendment, this supercedes all others and this was the case here, which meant Labour’s amendment should never have been heard. Since the standing order only allows for one amendment to come after the main motion, by Hoyle allowing Labour’s amendment as well, it therefore had to be heard before the SNP motion, which effectively hijacks their opposition day – the whole point of the standing order being in place - and the only reason Starmer had to do this, was because he faced a massive rebellion on his backbenches, plus likely more frontbench resignations, and an SNP ceasefire amendment from back in November saw Starmer lose 10 frontbenchers. Fundamentally if Starmer’s obeisance to Israel wasn’t so hardened and nailed on and he was capable of holding them to account for their genocidal actions, he wouldn’t have ever been in this mess, but rather than accept he’s in the wrong there, because he seems incapable of acknowledging fault personally, instead the allegation is that Starmer coerced the Speaker, Lindsay Hoyle, apparently threatening him with Labour support being taken away from advocating Hoyle to return as Speaker after the next election. Obviously with Labour looking at a ridiculously massive majority on paper right now, Hoyle would be screwed if he wanted his precious speaker role back. It appears to have worked. Hoyle allowed the motion to absolute uproar, Starmer was seen to say thank you to him as he left chamber, job done it seemed, Hoyle claiming to want the widest possible debate, before scuttling off himself. He later made a statement claiming that there had been credible threats against MPs and he didn’t want to see another MP murdered, implying there was some Islamic terrorist plot behind this, which he hadn’t brought up before and for which no evidence has been publicly produced. Again, there was uproar, as on the face of it, the Speaker has resorted to racism, to cover his own backside. Starmer was referred to the Privileges Committee by Alba party MP Neale Hanvey over these allegations of coercion, but this fell apart when ultimately it fell to the speaker to decide if such a vote on this would take place. Hoyle recused himself, being involved as he was and left it to his loyal deputies, who by deciding against an investigation, protected their boss. They were hardly the impartial group needed to decide upon this. That we thought was the end of the story, Starmer had got away with it again, Hoyle, continues to squat in the Speakers role, despite it being clear to everyone in the Commons and publicly who have paid attention to this story, that he is far too weak to fulfil the role and command the respect of the House of Commons, a no confidence motion in Hoyle did the rounds and attracted many signatures to back that up. Both Starmer and Hoyle positions, appeared to be untenable, yet they seemingly got away with it. Until now. Ultimately where moves to investigate Starmer and Hoyle failed, were because the deputy speakers blocked a debate and vote on referral to the Privileges Committee in the House of Commons. But now there could be a vote anyway. You see the Deputy Speakers collective decision on this can be overridden with a fresh motion which could be about to be brought to parliament, a motion which is seeing the SNP, who got completely shafted, prepared to work with Tory backbenchers, including the executive of the 1922 Committee of Tory backbenchers, who have a lot of influence and most importantly arguably, they have the support of the Leader of the House of Commons Penny Mordaunt, who controls parliamentary time, so if she wants this heard, and she regularly attacks Starmer as unfit to lead and weak, certainly sentiments I’ve carried on this channel and I’m certainly no Tory, very much the opposite, but when it comes to what Starmer and Hoyle have done here, this is simply right versus wrong. We do not know what was said by Starmer to Hoyle – and we know he said something because he admitted as much – and it has some bearing on Hoyle doing what he did after, which screwed up a ceasefire vote, which the people of this country wanted to see happen, wanted to see an end to UK support for a genocidal state as Israel is widely seen to be and already was seen to be at the time. So Mordaunt can make time for this vote, and with the SNP and Tories both in support of this vote happening, it’s likely to pass if it does, Labour certainly don’t have the numbers to stop it. Sunak could get himself off any hook here by allowing this to be a free vote, but it wouldn’t any difference to the result. That’d leave Starmer facing an investigation into his own conduct, his honesty and integrity, with all the lies that can be attributed to him already, going into an election campaign. Now from a purely self serving Tory standpoint, you can imagine this is an opportunity to try and save some of their own backsides, giving them another target to throw at Labour and this will be something that will give Starmer grief through the election campaign. To what extent it will make a difference we would have to wait and see, but it wouldn’t be a positive for Labour. Tory self interests aside, from the SNP’s standpoint, this would be about upholding democracy and that every constituent across the UK is equally represented, because SNP voters, those with an SNP MP got treated as secondary to Labour’s concerns on this matter of a ceasefire in Gaza. This is an issue that matters hugely to ordinary people around the UK, that is not being reflected in parliament. The SNP and the Tories absolutely hate each other, even if historically at times they’ve been politically a lot closer, the old tartan Tories mantra doing the rounds again now, but they haven’t been that for a long time. They’re prepared to work with the Tories, though both parties likely have very different reasons for doing so, to ensure this investigation happens, and regardless of their motivations, it is important that it does. If Starmer is capable of subverting the House by having the Speaker essentially in his pocket that could be catastrophic for the country, especially if he gets into power with Hoyle still in place. We need to know what happened, we need to know if there really was coercion and misconduct here and if that is proven by the privileges committee once given the nod to investigate, the parties involved must be held to account and censured for it appropriately. It needs to be instigated before the election, because with Labour looking at a massive majority, which will affect the make up of all parliamentary committees, putting more Labour faces on them, the harder it will be to do this should Starmer become PM and we then face the prospect of arguably one of the most antidemocratic authoritarian Prime Ministers ever, almost certainly being beyond reproach. If Starmer and Hoyle thought they’d got away with this, they need to be proven wrong, they need to be subjected to an investigation here and as much as I’ve fixed on Starmer for most of this, Hoyle is no less deserving of investigation either, especially since he did the most gut wrenching thing of all which was to resort to Islamophobia to save himself as this video recommendation will perhaps refresh you memory or inform if this aspect of this parliamentary mess passed you by and I’ll hopefully catch you on the next vid. As Alan Duncan drops some Israel loyalty home truths on his Tory Party, One Labour berk has to make it about Corbyn instead... Right, so it really is telling when there is a Tory implosion going on, Tory civil war happening, a proper blue on blue blow up, which you do truly love to see, and instead of the Labour Party going full on against the Tories, putting some water as politicians like to put it, between themselves and the Tories, trying to show some differentiation, instead of one of these pathetic right wingers decides to drag Corbyn into the equation, asking more questions about them frankly and what they hope to achieve at this point when Starmer has taken over, his faction have turned Labour into another Tory Party, and well, perhaps I’m answering my own question here, because of course the source of the latest Tory implosion regards accusations made by senior Tory MP Alan Duncan regarding the loyalties of some in his party, arguing they are more to Israel than to the UK, so along comes the chair of the Jewish Labour Movement, arguably the Labour member equivalent to Labour Friends of Israel in so much as where their views on Israel are, to slam Duncan and…bring Corbyn into the argument. It is truly pathetic these people still feel so threatened by a guy who has pro Palestine views and when they feel the need to do that, are they not just providing that same cover to Labour for their own questionable loyalties? Right, so, We have quite the petulant and petty mess going on here right now all in the aftermath of some quite astonishing and out of character honesty from a senior Tory who has significant issues with a number of his own party, calling into question their political loyalties. Here’s a clip: Alan Duncan there calling out the loyalties of Lord Polak, Lord Pickles, Tom Tugendhat, Michael Gove, Ribert Jenrick, Suella Braverman, Priti Patel, Oliver Dowden, it’s quite the list and quite refreshing to see people named and shamed and I’d argue most of that list of names are, to those familiar with the individuals in question, not a surprise that they’ve been named. Braverman only yesterday morning was foaming at the mouth as ever, bleating that Israel is not in breach of international law, when a UN Security Council resolution, not to mention a plausible case for genocide ruling having been passed at the ICJ say otherwise. Braverman is supposedly a lawyer of course, snigger at that at your own leisure after being reminded of that in case it had slipped your mind. She said: ‘The suggestion itself is absurd and, frankly, an insult to Israel who have been going above and beyond the necessary requirements to ensure that civilian casualties are limited, to ensure that aid is received onto the Gaza Strip and distributed. The drone used to kill the seven WCK aid workers in Gaza this week used British technology acquired by the Israeli arms firm. Right, so the latest news to come out in the tragic killing of 7 World Central Kitchen aid workers, amongst whom were three Britons, targeted as their three vehicles in turn were, ruling out any accidental targeting, is that the UK appears to be at least in part responsible for supplying the means of their deaths. We’re not talking about the missiles used here, but the drone that was carrying them, the missiles this drone can use can come from a variety of places and manufacturers, but the drone used, now confirmed to have been a Hermes 450 drone, is manufactured by Elbit Systems, and the engine used in this drone is only produced here in the UK. So as so many of us feared could be the case, that our own arms and our own military aid to the Israeli regime could be used against our own people, so this now appears to have been proven. We need an arms embargo now and those still seeking to shut Elbit Systems down are now more justified in their cause than ever they already were before. Right, so complicity between the UK government and the UK arms industry, I’m sure you’ll not be surprised to hear it, but with the UK supplying arms to Israel because the government permit it and the arms manufacturers here making a lot of money out of it, but now we know with certainty that this collusion between big business in the arms trade and the Tory government led to the deaths of those three British aid workers working for World Central Kitchen, along with their 4 foreign national colleagues, including the Palestinian driver, because the drone strike that killed them came from a drone who’s engine is built here in the UK by Elbit Systems. The drone in questions is the Hermes 450, which is manufactured by Elbit Systems, who have factories not only here in the UK, but around the world, across 51 counties in fact, so the drone itself could have been built in any number of these, but the engine the drone is powered by, the R902(w) Wankel engine, no sniggering at the back please, according to a report by The Canary, is manufactured by an Elbit subsidiary company called UAV Engines Limited and they are based in Shenstone in the West Midlands. Now where the Canary article sounds very sure of itself, Middle East Eye are a little bit more cautious in their coverage, having approached both Elbit Systems and UAV Engines Limited for comment and neither choosing to respond. However Eye did reference Elbit Systems having spoken to the Daily Mail of all rags, saying that none of its subsidiaries, or joint ventures, including UAV Engines Limited were involved in the Hermes 450 programme. Well that’s a fascinating bit of insight, because I’m very curious as to why the Hermes 450 drone is showcased on Elbit Systems own website in which case! Israel's new law effectively banning Al Jazeera for daring to cover the truth of the Gaza conflict, could harm the peace process too. Right, so as far as media coverage of what has been going on in Gaza for the last several months has gone, the world has been heavily reliant on the risks taken, their lives on the line and too often lost by both independent journalists and those who work for Al Jazeera, Israel’s deliberate targeting of journalists a war crime, western journlaists not so keen to be on the ground, the days of Kate Aidie in a vest and helmet with bombs going off around her long gone, you can’t see Laura Kuenssberg doing that can you? But of course their footage, their coverage has been relentlessly exposing in line with the harrowing footage we’ve all been seeing on social media, what the reality has been in Gaza for the Gazan people and has in no small part played a leading role in seeing public opinion shift against Israel, shift against Netanyahu’s regime, so the faux accusations of antisemitism now fall on deaf ears, seen as the genocidal state it really is at last. Little wonder therefore, that Netanyahu has now passed a law, to ban Al Jazeera, but banning them from Israel is one thing, banning them from Gaza is another and they’ve vowed their coverage must continue, will continue because the truth must be reported, but could this also hamper the peace process itself as well? Right, so Al Jazeera, I’ve used them as source material for much of my Israel Gaza coverage, because it’s been amongst the best out there and how could it not be, when their people are on the ground, risking their lives and losing them in too many cases for the sake of ensuring the truth of the atrocities there get out. For months it’s been clear that Israel have been deliberately targeting journalists in Gaza against international law, protected as they are by it, in order to stop them from reporting and the only reason any side in any conflict would wish harm upon journalists is if you are doing something you know you shouldn’t be doing and do not want it reported. Shielded as Israel has been by too many other states, too often a blind eye is cast to this, the only accountability being shown coming from the global public observing these incidents and condemning them on social media, all part of turning opinion against Israel and not without good reason. Now we know Israel have no intentions of stopping this, they are determined that what they are doing is right and just and they have every right to be doing it because Hamas, but they don’t, they’re in violation of resolutions and regulations they are signed up to, we know all of this by now, so what have they got left to swing public opinion? DWP incompetence & lack of due diligence have left an unpaid carer robbed of their inheritance and this could happen to any of us. Right, so if you thought the DWP couldn’t stoop to even greater depths, this is certainly one of the most disgusting stories I’ve heard in ages as now being an unpaid carer apparently means you might not be allowed to inherit anything that might be willed to you. Imagine being an unpaid carer, in other words you’re not an employed or self employed carer running a business, you’ve simply given up work yourself to care for a loved one, who’s health has failed them and they need that additional support, it’s a position an awful lot of us will find ourselves in one day. The only support the government offers you in that position is carers allowance, which is a pittance, and the hours they are permitted to still work part time alongside those carers responsibilities are strictly limited, to less than 16 hours a week, along with the amount of money you are actually allowed to earn. Go one minute over, go one penny over, you lose the entire allowance. But that is how many carers are forced to top up their incomes to get by in a world only ever getting more expensive, so imagine your mother passing away and the DWP deciding that means you’ve gone over your income and savings limits and they decide to seize it. Well this is exactly what has just happened to one woman. Right, so when I saw this story this morning this hit particularly close to home. A woman in Cheshire has had her inheritance seized following the death of her mother by the DWP because she’d fallen afoul of their arbitrary unpaid carers limitations, earnings limits and all despite having arranged a repayment plan over this with the DWP, so they had no good reason to do such a thing especially given the tragic nature of the windfall here, it’s the ultimate Scrooge move by a government department which is already amongst the most publicly despised. This story resonated with me particularly since I’m also an unpaid carer, albeit one that has long since given up carers allowance, because this channel, those who kindly watch these videos, those who support the channel to keep doing so and make it a viable business, have enabled me to do that, but I’m still caring around this, just because I no longer accept the government insult they call support to help makes ends meet, doesn’t change that and with my mother also terminally right now, in the none too distant future I know I’ll be going through what this woman in Cheshire has been through, so this could easily be me, could easily be a large number of carers on carers allowance, simply because the people they care for, many of whom will be family with life limiting or terminal illnesses too, so is this the kind of swindle we’ll see from the DWP elsewhere? For those not familiar with Carer’s Allowance, allow me to briefly set out the rules of it, because it should appal you frankly. See if you can live and get by under these circumstances. We’re now entering the new tax year, so as of this year Carer’s Allowance will amount to £81.90 a week. Meet Eylon Levy's somehow even worse replacement, whihc also exposes the uncomfortable ties between Israel and LFI. Right, so Labour Friends of Israel, or Labour Friends of Genocide as they might also be reasonably called now and many people do, it’s a hashtag that regularly trends on Twitter as you might well imagine is in no small part seen as one massive red flag towards voting for Starmer’s Labour for many given the conduct of Israel and given that through LFI, the Labour Party is seen as being too close to Israel. This isn’t for no small reason, with the Israel Lobby having been significant backers of Keir Starmer’s leadership bid, many MPs taking donations from Israel lobbyists, from cash donations for the always opaque ‘office costs’ exempt from limits as they are, to jollies to Israel to be fussed and fawned over. Then there is the fact Labour candidates get sent to Israel for education purposes. I’d prefer my UK politicians to be educated on UK matters, not Israeli ones, but in response to stories like that many are asking themselves who exactly runs that party these days? Having high ranking paid for Israeli representatives even on Labour’s National Executive Committee just underlines that, as is the case with Luke Akehurst. Yet now, in the wake of Israel having officially sacked their far too up himself former spokesperson Eylon Levy, that left a vacancy and that vacancy has now been filled by a former director of Labour Friends of Israel. So how much closer can LFI and the Israeli state actually get and this should raise even more questions about how close our Labour Party is to that regime and who they would run this country in the interests of? Right, so Labour Friends of Israel. You might have thought this is just an assemblage of Labour MPs benefitting from friendly relations with Israel with all the accoutrements that brings with it, but it’s more than actually, LFI is a limited company, incorporated in 2015 as said limited company, and therefore needs directors to attend to financial oversight certainly, but it also means there are financial records for them too since then, which make for interesting reading on Companies House, not least of which continues to beg the question of where does their funding come from, but I’m not going to go into that here. Despite it appearing to be a recent entity though as far as financial records go and it’s company status certainly does, LFI’s existence goes back much further than that, founded in 1957 in fact by the Labour MP Doug Hoyle, the father of the current lousy weakling Speaker of the House of Commons, Lindsay Hoyle, who’s recent capitulation to Starmer over that SNP Opposition Day has raised questions about his own impartiality and loyalties given his family connection to LFI. The power and influence of LFI can’t be underestimated, it’s regarded as one of the most prestigious lobby groups within the Labour party and a stepping stone to ministerial positions within Labour even. Keir Starmer's consistent weakness when it comes to challenging Israel hasn't shifted even in the face of Britons being killed. Right, so thoughts and prayers. It’s the immediate reaction to a politician offering condolences to families who have lost loved ones through some heinous act or another, but lacking sincerity with it. Very much a statement of, I’m sorry for your loss, but I’m only saying so because I have to, not because I mean it. When it comes to British citizens being killed in the line of duty, putting their lives on the line for others, making the ultimate sacrifice as it were, doing what they love and making a difference, the sort of thing most of our politicians would never do, never dream of, their aspirations being far more concerned with money and power and how to get them, I’m not sure many of them can even comprehend such selflessness. Yesterday brought the news of an attack on World Central Kitchen aid workers in Gaza, amongst the 7 killed were three Britons. Now I put out a video on this yesterday and at time of writing, neither main party had responded, but around the time the video went out, some responses had come in, but in the case of Keir Starmer, he opted for one of those thoughts and prayers statements, it was so pathetic as to be offensive, it means nothing when its not backed up by any intent to have words with Israel and given how much he owes to the Israel Lobby, it means he probably can’t and if that’s the case now, that will be the case if he gets into power too. Right, so big story from yesterday and rightfully so given that 3 Britons were killed by the IDF trying to deliver aid in Gaza, despite the Israeli authorities being aware of their movements. I covered this story yesterday as far as details were available, but since then it’s become known that the 7 people killed were travelling in 3 vehicles and each of them had been targeted in turn meaning this was no accident but a deliberate act of violence against aid workers protected under international law. The first vehicle was hit and people fled that car, got into the one behind before that was hit. A third vehicle a kilometre behind was then hit as well. Far be it from me to ever want to give a media wombat like Richard Madeley on Good Morning Britain props given his gaffe prone idiocy, but I can’t fault his description of this today as an execution, because I completely agree. Israel has made no effort to ensure aid gets through as ordered of it, has left it’s settlers to block road deliveries and now that aid is beginning to get in by sea as this aid here had done, those attempting to now deliver it are killed. Israel is a rogue state hell bent on genocide, seemingly determined to eliminate the people of Gaza who are starving to death and those still supporting Israel and especially those still arming them, need to get real. Never before has any nation in world history intentionally targeted the consulate of another nation, but Israel have done just that. Right, so Israel have committed a world first when it comes to depravity during warfare, an act without any previous precedent at a time when you’d think this is probably the stupidest of times to do such a thing as this, but such is the insanity of the Netanyahu regime. Not even during the two world wars nor at any other time in history has a nation deliberately bomb the embassy of another country, yet that is exactly what Israel have now done, by targeting the Iranian embassy in Syria. You’d figure that currently being engaged in genocide in Gaza and taking potshots at Lebanon and Syria itself would be keeping Israel busy, but it’s not enough apparently. Netanyahu wants to draw the West into this conflict and appears intent on starting as many wars as it needs to on as many fronts as possible to achieve that. Zionism is leading us into World War III and we won’t be deviating from that path until the West starts cutting off Israel and leaving it to deal with the ramifications of its actions. Facing up to them for once instead of always being protected no matter how badly that spoilt brat of a government behaves. Right, so the Iranian embassy in Syria has been bombed by Israel, this took place yesterday afternoon our time at time of writing with 7 members of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corp, the IRGC killed. This is an historical precedent. This has never happened before, no nation has ever sunk to so low, not during two world wars, not at any other time in history has a state deliberately targeted a foreign embassy in another country. The only instance previously that is comparable is in 1999 when NATO bombed the Chinese embassy in Belgrade in the former Yugoslavia and the US apologised profusely for striking it in error. The US were responsible in that instance, they compensated families, they paid to have the embassy rebuilt. China dispute the accidental nature of the strike, but it was never proven to be deliberate, but this strike on Iran by Israel was and shows just how absolutely insane and unhinged the Israeli regime of Netanyahu now is, how far he’s prepared to go for his own ends. It’s no secret why they’ve done this really, it doesn’t take an expert in global international relations to work it out. Israel feels it is untouchable, it knows the West believes it has to be supported and protected in their interests, so in theory will never let it fall and so Israel wants to draw the West into a conflict now to protect their pathetic backsides as they point at everyone being mean to them, despite them having cast the first stone. 3 Britons have been killed amongst the 7 aid workers targeted by Israel. There is no excusing inaction by Sunak & Starmer this time. Right, so as several media outlets carry an outline story of 7 aid workers having been killed in Gaza by an IDF strike, what fewer are focusing on or have focussed on in reports you may have seen, and partly that’s to do with this story being constantly updated, is that of the 7 aid workers, there wasn’t one British aid worker, but 3 of them were British, at least one was Australian and another Polish, the only Palestinian aboard was the driver. Israel have offered condolences for these tragic deaths, but with the number of aid convoys targeted by the IDF, the fact aid has been stopped from coming through repeatedly via road crossings, this is too much to take at face value and with images of the downed aid vehicle showing very much what appears to have been a surgical strike, who is foolish enough to take Israel spokespeople at their word on that? Right, so plenty of UK news outlets are talking about this aid worker attack, referring to tragic deaths, referring to what the Israeli’s have said on this matter, even when they knew at least one Briton had been killed, in fact that number has risen to three Britons killed in this attack by the Israeli Defence Force. Here’s what Israel themselves have said first, as reported by Sky, about 15 minutes ago at time of writing: ‘Israel has commented on the strike that killed seven aid workers in Gaza earlier. IDF spokesperson Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari offered "deepest condolences" to the founder of the charity World Central Kitchen over the "tragic" deaths of its aid workers. "We also express sincere sorrow to our allied nations who have been doing and continue to do so much to assist those in need," he added. Mr Hagari insisted the IDF is "a professional military committed to international law", adding that the incident is being reviewed "at the highest levels to understand the circumstances of what happened and how it happened". He praised World Central Kitchen as doing "critical work... on the frontlines of humanity", also noting the charity had been among the first to help Israelis after the massacre of 7 October. "We will get to the bottom of this and we will share our findings transparently," he said.’ That’s the message as delivered by Daniel Hagari, AKA Mr Pointy as you might be more familiar with him, the sort of guy who points at calendars and calls them Hamas duty rosters, or points at Hamas laptops that have Hebrew keyboards instead of Arabic ones, a trustworthy sort not. Keir Starmer's Labour Party will apparently keep supplying arms to Israel if they get into power according to gut churning interview. Right, so the arming of Israel by the UK is a source of national shame for so many of us now, sickened by the weakness shown by the unelected Sunak and what passes for a cabinet these days, reduced to a Z-list team of chancers desperate to make for a footnote in the history books before their sorry backsides are voting out of parliament come the General Election, an election widely polling and indicating some kind of Labour majority to some degree or another. But is that going to change anything? An interview this morning with Starmer super loyalist Pat McFadden, also a Labour Friend of Israel, on Sky News with Kay Burley displayed possibly one of the most unhinged, ignorant and deplorable takes I’ve yet seen on the matter of Israel from any politician, let alone Labour as McFadden pretty much says beyond doubt that Labour will very much continue to arm Israel and you genuinely need to see and hear this before you consider casting a vote for this godawful apparent government in waiting: Right, so that was Pat McFadden, the Shadow Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster talking to Kay Burley, and that was absolutely disgusting. Did he was funny or something, grinning inanely halfway through having talked so much bo**ocks for half a minute he forgot what he was asked! We know Hamas hold hostages, Israel hold many times more. He couldn’t bring himself to actually say the word ceasefire, because presumably he hasn’t cleared that with Starmer yet, does Labour really want that or not or is it so in hoc to the Israel Lobby we can’t tell and McFadden being LFI is hardly going to rock that boat. We don’t boycott Israel, well many of us are voluntarily and what do the politicians have to say to that? Well you can’t do that, we’ll ban it. Well, how do you plan on doing that then, forcibly making us buy Israeli produce, these dats grown by settlers in the West bank on land they stole, buy them or else is that it? Don’t be so wet. We should be boycotting Israel, 32,000 people dead, over 100,000 dead or injured and here’s McFadden defending Israel as an ally, as a nation we don’t boycott and implying they are still operating within international humanitarian law. All in response to a question, a straight question of being asked is Labour comfortable selling arms to Israel? Presumably the real answer is, for as long as the Israel Lobby fund us, donate to our party and affiliated Labour MPs and keep paying for our jollies to Israel and as we keep sending parliamentary candidates to Israel to make sure they know who is really in charge, the answer is yes. More and more the Labour Party appears to take instruction not so much from Starmer, but from Tel Aviv. 20 Labour Councillors in Lancashire have resigned en masse, blaming Starmer's authoritarianism as local elections near. Right, so whilst polls are still saying the Tories are facing an extinction level event, and Labour are on course for a massive majority, the reason for people to back Starmer in which case grows less and less, but equally having people to vote for representing Labour is becoming less and less too as more people, many Labour all their lives, elected officials, Labour councillors find themselves unable to stomach representing what Labour has become under Starmer, no longer for the many, but for the donors, no longer for peace but instead for Israel, no longer for fixing the country, just Tories in sheep’s clothing who will run the country in their own interests and continue the rot Sunak’s brand of Tories leave behind. People leaving the Labour Party and standing as independents or standing for the Green Party have become commonplace news stories, along with the stories of how they couldn’t stand to be part of this Labour sham any longer, either being purged for pathetic reasons or putting their conscience first. But for 20 councillors to all resign at the same time from the same area, well that is a level of rot Labour cannot sustain and when all of them cite Keir Starmer as their reason for quitting, well, it’s clear where the problem lies. Right, so we’re looking ahead to local elections next month, even though it’s only now just April, but given the dissent happening in both Tory Party’s right now, both the Conservative variety and the Labour ones, yet more Labour resignations at local politics levels are occurring, the timing clearly giving such news more exposure, but Labour have been losing Councillors for years, I’ve made many a video on the reasons why and 9 times out of 10 the name Keir Starmer gets dragged up, but where we’ve had maybe a handful of co-ordinated resignations from a similar given area previously, we’ve never had 20 quit in one go, but that is exactly what has just happened in the North West. A co-ordinated mass resignation involving Councillors on Pendle Borough Council, Nelson Town Council and Brierfield Town Council, all in Lancashire, some of the Councillors involved on both a Town and the Borough Council has taken place, all ahead of Local Elections happening in the area next month. Pendle Borough Council is a no overall control council having formerly been Conservative held, and indeed the Conservatives form the largest party there still, though for how much longer is a matter for debate, though nevertheless, Labour are in deep trouble here too and despite their national polling leads, they haven’t done brilliantly at local election level, last year being a classic example of the party having been lauded for massive gains, whilst the media omitted to mention the huge losses they had in other areas too, meaning that overall, Labour as a Party nationally in last years locals largely just trod water. Abstaining on a ceasefire vote at the UN Security Council and still selling Israel weapons isn't how it works Joe. Right, so the US finally abstained on a ceasefire vote at the UN Security Council this week, this has of course been all over the news and has been hailed as a much needed triumph despite little sign of actually enforcing it, so that it actually means something. We keep getting told the Biden administration is getting more and more fed up with Netanyahu acting as he is, throwing tantrums when he doesn’t get his own way, acting like Israel are not totally dependent on the US to even exist, pretty much, shielded by the US as their precious foothold in the Middle East and that protection they think allows to get away with anything, including smack talk against their main benefactors. That ceasefire vote though, just voted in the bare minimum, demanded aid gets in, demanded a ceasefire during the Muslim holy month of Ramadan and the release of all hostages. This was everything the US wanted, so why did they abstain in which case? Well, perhaps more recent events tell us exactly why. Right, so somebody please tell genocide Joe how a ceasefire works please, because continuing to send more weapons to Israel after a ceasefire vote literally passes at the UN Security Council isn’t it, but then, that’s precisely why I think the US ended up abstaining on that vote, because without being enforced, and there4’s no sign of anything proactive along those lines from the UN right now, disappointingly, the US can continue arming Israel, without being labelled hypocrites over such matters. Following the UN ceasefire vote passing, Biden’s insane administration has authorised the transfer of billions of dollars worth of bombs and fighter jets to Israel and all despite those claims that they are worried about Israel going into Rafah, pleading with Netanyahu to not go into Rafah and Netanyahu resolutely stating, we’re going into Rafah. A UN ceasefire vote passes, over a million innocent people trapped in Rafah on the Gaza-Egypt border and Biden still signs off billion of dollars worth in military aid, knowing it could well be used in Rafah, he can’t not know. It’s just such utter incredulous madness, that so many lives in Rafah, over a million lives appear to be worth less than the US supporting Israel does. It just makes you want to ball your fists up in rage at all we’ve seen and still this is the position the US takes. Some of the arms being provided includes some 1800 of the 2000lb bombs we’ve seen Israel use in civilian areas, the same sort that were linked to mass casualty events, such as the one Israel claim to have accidently dropped on the Jabalia refugee camp outside of Gaza City, so there doesn’t even seem to be much quibble in the sort of aid being sent, it’s like Israel send some sort of sordid shopping list and the US duly delivers. If a leaked recording from a Tory fundraiser is true, then David Cameron, the UK's unelected Foreign Secretary, has to go. Right, so a piece of audio recording from a Tory MP has exposed David Cameron, our unelected imposed upon us Foreign Secretary, as knowing full well, that Israel has been breaking international humanitarian law, that that has been the legal advice the government have received from their lawyers and yet publicly, they have denied this and very much kept arming Netanyahu’s regime. That should be the end of Cameron no questions, no quibbles, that this has come out, because if that was the legal advice given – and we do only have this recording to go by at this moment in time – then arms sales under our obligations, the treaties we’re signed up to, the Geneva Conventions, the Genocide Convention, should have ceased with immediate effect. Instead, if this opinion by this Tory MP is correct, then both Cameron and Sunak, have led this country into breaking international law, into complicity with what Israel have been doing in Gaza, but also as we’ve seen in recent days what has been happening in Lebanon and Syria too. If this is true, and I see no reason to not believe it given that it runs counter to the official government narrative, then we’re being governed by criminals right now, but listen to the recording for yourself and see what you think. Right, so that was the voice of Tory MP and Chair of the Foreign Affairs Select Committee Alicia Kearns at a Tory fundraising event back on the 13th March, so over two weeks ago now, two weeks where David Cameron and Rishi Sunak have overseen the continued supply or arms to Israel of course, something which according to Kearns, who I featured in another video the other day giving Netanyahu’s has-been former mouthpiece, the now very much sacked Eylon Levy a hard time as he put himself forward as a government spokesperson authorised to speak on aid distribution, but instead managed to talk himself out of employment having caused a diplomatic incident over it. As much as it grated agreeing with a Tory there, she was right, she was on the money, and Levy’s subsequent sacking bears that out, so in which case, why would her word not be good enough now, especially given it is counter to the government narrative, she appears to have known about the law breach here, so plaudits going her way have their limits, especially since this was a behind closed doors secret chat with the faithful, not a public outing of government law breaking, but now of course the press have gone ahead and published this, outed the recording, so they must be very sure it is Kearns speaking, but the bit that damns Cameron most of all is this bit here: ‘The Foreign Office has received official legal advice that Israel has broken international humanitarian law but the government has not announced it. They have not said it, they haven’t stopped arms exports. Keir Starmer and Angela Rayner are rowing back on workers rights when it comes to the boss ringing you out of hours... Right, so you go to work, you do your bit, you clock out, you expect that to be the end of the day as far as work is concerned yes? You are free to enjoy your free time, that is why it is called thusly, the work life balance as it’s supposedly called and I realise that that is becoming an increasingly mythical concept for many who have to work more than one job, or for whom ticking off for overtime is the difference to making ends meet or not and that that balance might well be a bit of a joke right now, but at least when you do leave work behind you can do your own thing, or at least that is how it is supposed to work. Leave your worries and issues at home and leave your job at the office, that is how it should be. Well what if the office won’t leave you alone? How many of you might have the boss calling you up at the weekend, or in the evening trying to get some more work out of you, or adding to your workload the next day, or asking if you can come in on your day off? How many times have your plans been screwed up by that? I think we can all agree that that sort of treatment isn’t on, in which case you’ll be delighted to hear that Keir Starmer doesn’t agree with you, and apparently thinks your boss has every right to but into your down time. Right, so what’s this one all about then Damo? Well, this is all about Labour’s overhaul of workers rights, which is a bit misleading, more accurate to say the Red Tories overhaul of workers rights, which as ever is the case when it comes to Starmer policy, are getting watered down, probably because Peter Mandelson doesn’t like it and thinks Starmer is offering people who should never have any hope at all too much hope, scant as it already was. That man should return to his crypt in his pit of despair and leave us all alone, just how many times that man needs politically resurrecting I don’t know, especially when his tune never changes. Anyway, the boss contacting you outside of work hours is frankly ridiculous and an abuse of their position. People work to live, they don’t live to work and in too many workplaces and institutions a culture of we own you pervades, leading to out of work phone calls, unreasonable asks outside of the working day and Labour had planned to ban bosses from doing this, a staunch separation of the working day and a chance for those who have endured this sort of treatment, to breathe a sigh of relief that when they clock out, they have very much finished for the day and that is that. Well Starmer has now rowed back on this, to no surprise whatsoever, when does he ever mean a word he says, when does he ever stick to any of his promises, policies, missions or pledges, how anyone can trust anything Labour come out with after the number of times he has now abandoned his positions on this that and the other I don’t know, still people believe getting the Tories is more important. The shelling of a UN peacekeeper patrol in Southern Lebanon is being pointed at Israel despite their denials. Right, so Israel throughout the last several months has made much of it’s right to defend itself. Every time innocent civilians have been caught up in Israeli assaults on Gaza it has always come back to excuses about Israel right to defend itself, it’s always the response no matter the casualty rate and now as they intensify attacks outside of Gaza, in Lebanon and Syria particularly, that excuse is wearing thinner than Donald Trump’s skin in a court room, every single attack it seems to b the go to response, but an attack in Lebanon that happened only shortly before I sat down to start planning today’s content, might just now blow apart that pathetic excuse as 4 members of the UN have been injured in an Israeli strike in Southern Lebanon, because if this was Israel, in what way is Israel defending itself by attacking the UN, or are they going to make the not completely beyond the realms of possibility excuse that these people were working for Hamas or Hezbollah, because even that wouldn’t be a first. Right, so somewhat breaking news this morning that three United nations officials and their translator have been injured as a shell exploded near them along the Israeli Lebanese border in the village of Rmeish. Now these UN officials were members of UNIFIL, the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon, and they are a UN peacekeeping force that monitors the border and has been doing so for the last 46 years now, since 1978, since tensions really began actually between Israel and Lebanon, one of the most peaceful of Israel’s borders there have been historically, until Israel decided to back separatists during the civil war in Lebanon during the 70s and 80s, which later gave rise to Hezbollah, so Lebanon very much an enemy of Israel’s own making and indeed no diplomatic relations exist between the two nations, so the UN patrol the border, monitor it, evidence any aggressive activity lets call it. In that vein and given what early days it is right now, we don’t actually know where the shell came from at this stage that struck nearby the UNIFIL unit, but given that Rmeish is in Lebanon and that Hezbollah armaments are significantly better than those Hamas cobble together, not to mention the fact Israel have far more recent history of attacks on the UN than Lebanon does, circumstantially, the finger of blame is being pointed in Israel’s direction right now. We know after all that Israel have heavily targeted another UN Agency, UNRWA, accusing them of employing Hamas operatives, made up a pack of unevidenced lies as it remains seen as since the evidence they claimed to have they have never unveiled which resulted in many countries later restoring financing to UNRWA, though not the US notably who have decided to end funding until 2025, because they’re just that stupid presumably. The Houthis in Yemen have struck a deal with Russia and China which has seen 4 Russian warships no enter the Red Sea... Right, so the Houthis in Yemen have been causing absolute chaos for Israeli, US and UK shipping for months despite not having a navy of their own to speak of, with small boat attacks, drone attacks and later on missile attacks as a result of support they have from their Iranian backers, because I’m sure you’ll have forgotten by now Iran supports the Houthis, our media never talk enough about that. But a navy might just have entered the Red Sea now, to back them up as a result of a deal struck with both Russia and China, with Russian warships having now entered through the Bab-el-Mandeb Strait at the south of the Red Sea prompting concerns that a full-on naval offensive could now begin and things could become dramatically worse not just for Israel and it’s allies, who frankly deserve nothing less by continuing to support the apartheid state to continue it’s genocide in Gaza, but also for global shipping for all nations if the Red Sea becomes completely impassable for all as a result of increasing military tensions. Right, so the Houthi rebels in Yemen have recently struck a deal with both Russa and China, and potentially leading to the involvement of other BRICS nations against NATO ostensibly, it’s how this situation we’re observing right now could escalate further, but right now it appears to be a case of Russian warships as things stand at this point, entering the Red Sea, to do what exactly? Be intimidating at this moment in time and we can hope things stay that way, a force to support the Houthis against any more attacks against them from the US and UK who have been attacking them in support of Israel, getting those nations added to a blocklist of ships allowed to proceed through the Red Sea. There was never any need to attack the Houthis, they have taken the stance to stand with Gaza, stand with Palestine against their occupiers and aggressors and if diplomatic means had been used already to get Israel out of Gaza, something that should have been done decades ago, all this unpleasantness would have been avoidable. Instead, these western powers, arrogant in their imperialistic and superpower beliefs still felt what they said went, and now the situation is so much worse for them. So what has happened then Damo? Well, The Houthis have basically struck a deal with Russia and China saying that they now have free, unimpeded access and passage through the Red Sea, you can imagine western brains in the US and UK government imploding at the thought of their biggest military and economic rivals being offered Red Sea passage up on a plate, when they can’t use it right now for their own shipping, thanks to their own arrogance and political idiocy in siding with a rogue state instead of standing up for what was right and what was just. And of course the Houthis know this, they are not stupid people, they are tactically minded and they know exactly which buttons to press to make western leaders squeal like little piggies. As Israel increase attacks on Syria and Lebanon whilst still committing genocide in Gaza, what is their endgame here? Right, so for as much as the focus on Israel’s war crimes have been rightfully on the genocide they are committing in Gaza, it is not the only war they are engaged in right now, that nation having longstanding issues with all of it’s neighbouring Arab states, which goes right back to the creation of Israel itself, a Western backed Zionist project rooted in imperialistic colonialism as it historically is. We’re going all the way back to 1948 there though, and as much as there was justifiable anger then for the land theft that was done, you can’t change history, you can’t fix the past, you can point the finger of blame, you can amend the history books accordingly certainly, but what was done then was done and the Jewish population, Zionist population is there. However they’ve made scant effort to integrate into the region since and seem set on never attempting to, because to do so would require living alongside the Palestinian people in peace, which successive Israeli leaderships have never wanted and the attacks on this Westernised Israeli project have prompted much sympathy for Israel in Western media. Until now. Until Gaza. So what could they possibly gain, now seen widely as a pariah state instead, by attacking even more people and even more nations? My guess? They want to provoke a response and get their victim status back. Right, so the genocidal Netanyahu regime is really just the latest iteration of Zionist leadership in Israel continuing to persecute the Palestinian people through successive years and regimes. You can argue Netanyahu has been the worst, but it’s not actually been a particularly high bar for the most part. Since this genocide has been the first to be broadcast across social media in real time and for the first time western eyes have not relied on western media to blind them to the truth of these matters, they’ve been opened to the raw unedited reality of war and the real victims of it, too often having been innocent women and children and even now, as Israel attacks Rafah, where 1.1m people are trapped with nowhere to go, Israel still imply they are embarking on a just war, to take out terrorists, instead of destroying the lives of far too many innocents they see as subhuman anyway, not the people who’s land they actually occupy as a state called Israel, which actually has no legal right to even exist, as pointed out recently at the ICJ by Professor Ralph Wilde in his representations on behalf of the Arab League, which I covered in another vid. With the Anonyvoter online voting system accused of being abused to rig votes already, Starmer's woes just got bigger... Right, so Labour vote rigging accusations are not dying down whatsoever right now as the police investigation on Croydon East continues along with Labour’s use of the Croydon based Anonyvoter system, having recently been used to selected one of Anonyvoters owners to be the candidate for Croydon at the GLA elections, well however did that happen? And of course alongside that two MPs have come forward as well accusing Anonyvoter of being abused, of vote tampering, data manipulation to deliver desired outcomes on behalf of presumably the Labour leadership, its certainly them that are benefitting from it at any rate. A petition, instigated by Momentum, to stop using Anonyvoter whilst an independent investigation is conducted is attracting signatories and for no small reason as the Morning Star reports up to 40 parliamentary selections for Labour might have been rigged through abuse of the system, but on top of that a whole new, non Anonyvoter related vote rigging story has come to light and this concerns the manipulation of the Organise communication system Labour uses, to have delivered the Welsh First Ministership to the newly elected Vaughan Gething. Right, so whilst the Anonyvoter scandal is slowly gaining more attention, slowly being seen for the massive story it is, the huge ramifications for democracy that vote tampering on a potentially nationwide scale could have had within Labour Party internal selection processes, it may not be the only example of endemic vote rigging going on in the Labour Party as now even the Labour Party’s internal communications system Organise has been dragged into the frame. Organise is the email communication system between members used at national and constituency level within the Labour Party, it is what literally connects members in this digital age we live in. It is ostensibly therefore a neutral system, its for communications, but as far as the selection process went for Labour’s selection for the First Minister of Wales role, a role not up for election itself at this time, so whoever got picked, became the new Welsh First Minister. Well it is being reported by Nation Cymru that Welsh Labour members were apparently told to not use Organise to support either the eventual winner, Vaughan Gething, or his rival for the post, Jeremy Miles. The message members were apparently sent reads: ‘We would like to remind all Organise users that the use of Labour Party systems to promote a leadership candidate or send emails on behalf of campaign teams is strictly prohibited. Any use of this nature will be seen as a serious breach of your use of Organise and will result in your account being suspended and possibly further action. Palestine Special Rapporteur Francesca Albanese has told the UN Human Rights Council that Israel has met the terms of Genocide. Right, so the Special Rapporteur for human rights in the Occupied Palestinian Territories, the brilliant Francesca Albanese has stood before the UN Human Rights Council and spelt out in a speech her assessment of the situation in Gaza at the hands of Israel since October 7th and that she believes the case for the commission of the crime of genocide as laid out under the terms of the Genocide Convention has been met and that the UN must now act accordingly to impose immediate sanctions and an arms embargo on the apartheid state, who have lashed out at her, to no surprise at all, despite not turning up to hear her speech and indeed Albanese has admitted to having received threats due to her work and her findings, very much implying she’s touched a nerve and her findings, strongly worded as they are, are very much sadly on the money. Right, so that was Francesca Albanese presenting her ‘Anatomy of a Genocide’ to the UN Human Rights Council on Tuesday and frankly I’d challenge anyone to disagree with what she said in that clip there, which is a sample of a much fuller 20 minute long speech I think it was all told. If the Genocide Convention that so many countries are signatories of, including Israel and those nations arming Israel right now means anything, then sanctions and an arms embargo must follow, but as ever where it comes to the UN, especially in light of what is going on in Gaza, for too many nations the UN just never seems to be seen in that way. It looks good to be signed up to UN treaties and conventions on this, that and the other, but when it comes to meeting the terms of them there just seems to be a pervading attitude of it doesn’t matter, that the UN won’t enforce these things and certainly there is a justifiable anger towards the UN at times for seeming to not be willing to uphold it’s own rules and regs. A classic example that we’ve all observed is the International Court of Justice ruling against Israel brought by South Africa, which laid down several orders, all but one of which Israel have flouted. Twice since South African delegates have tried to get the ICJ, which is a branch of the UN, to toughed up its stance on Israel and twice over they’ve declined to do so. The only ICJ order that Israel did actually follow, was to submit a report spelling out how they were upholding the other orders handed down to them, which they did and many of us snorted in derision at this, as aid has been prevented from getting in and the genocide has just continued without pause, but as much as we’d all love to know what Israel said so we can almost certainly shred it for its abject dishonesty, it has never been made public. Julian Assange has had 3 of the 9 grounds of appeal put forward by his team upheld, but he's not out of the woods yet. Right, so the High Court has granted Julian Assange limited leave to appeal today, in his fight against extradition to the US for the crime of basically being an investigative journalist, it would set a seriously dangerous precedent as far as holding power to account and the freedom of the press, not to mention freedom of expression and free speech, if Assange gets extradited on the ridiculous claims the US have made against him. Extradition, given Assange’s health would almost certainly end up being a death sentence for him, if something or someone else doesn’t kill him first, as details of a CIA plot have emerged and been ignored, however there is a big but in all of this extradition business. Two High Court judges have granted Assange leave to appeal on three of the nine grounds for appeal that he has brought, so hope, although still slim, remains and this extradition could yet be stopped: Right, so that was a clip of Al Jazeera’s coverage outlining the ruling this morning that has been handed down giving Julian Assange right to appeal on three of the nine grounds that he had brought and the Judgement summation outlines this quite clearly, but and there’s a big but here, the US may be able to avert that appeal still: ‘The Divisional Court considers that Mr Assange has a real prospect of success on 3 of the 9 grounds for appeal (grounds iv), v) and ix)). It has given the Government of the United States of America and the Secretary of State an opportunity to offer assurances that would address those grounds for appeal. Unless satisfactory assurances are provided, the Court will grant leave to appeal on those grounds for appeal. The Court refuses leave to appeal on the other 6 grounds, which do not have any merit. Mr Assange will not, therefore, be extradited immediately. The Court has given the Government of the United States 3 weeks to give satisfactory assurances: That Mr Assange is permitted to rely on the First Amendment to the United States (which protects free speech), that he is not prejudiced at trial (including sentence) by reason of his nationality, that he is afforded the same First Amendment protections as a United States citizen and that the death penalty is not imposed. If those assurances are not given, then leave to appeal will be given and there will then be an appeal hearing. Israel are whining as much as you might have guessed they would, but can they be trusted to adhere to this ceasefire? Right, so plenty of reason to celebrate it would seem as the UN Security Council finally manages to pass a ceasefire resolution, but it’s nowhere near enough in and of itself with so much more still to be done and indeed the biggest question of all is whether the UN will follow up on this ruling by now deploying peacekeepers to enforce it. The US, despite getting their own way by making it conditional upon hostage’s being released and it again only being a temporary month long break for Ramadan, still wouldn’t vote for it, decided to at least abstain this time rather than veto it, still too worried about Israel’s reaction presumably, because even they, like the rest of us could have guessed how they’d lash out. And lash out they have. The UN is now antisemitic, the vote is antisemitic, the UN Secretary-General is now antisemitic, you know how it goes. A ceasefire, peace even, are now basically antisemitic and it seems painfully obvious to all, that UN peacekeepers WILL be needed to enforce this ruling, because there is zero sign or prospect that Netanyahu will follow it. Right, so we have a ceasefire, of a sort. It’s immediate, but it’s temporary. Israel are pi**ed at the US for not devotedly vetoing this, so now Israel is acting in defiance of international law if it doesn’t down tools immediately. It is actually the most minimal ask to get some sort of ceasefire right now across the line though, such is the ongoing pathetic performativeness by some nations on this matter though. Here’s what it actually calls for: ‘An immediate ceasefire for the month of Ramadan respected by all parties leading to a lasting sustainable ceasefire The immediate and unconditional release of all hostages, as well as ensuring humanitarian access to address their medical and other humanitarian needs and that the parties comply with their obligations under international law in relation to all persons they detain. The urgent need to expand the flow of humanitarian assistance to and reinforce the protection of civilians in the entire Gaza Strip. The Council reiterates its demand for the lifting of all barriers to the provision of humanitarian assistance at scale, in line with international humanitarian law.’ So essentially what we have is a humanitarian pause again, rather than a ceasefire, with an aspiration for the ceasefire to become permanent. Given this is as far as the UK were prepared to go, this is why they finally voted for something instead of abstaining. There are calls for all hostages to be released on both sides unconditionally, although it is conditional because it’s part of why this ceasefire passed, it’s been one of the sticking points for the US, so by putting this in, they decided to abstain. The other sticking point I’ll come onto in a moment. The last thing it demands is humanitarian aid, food, shelter, medical supplies be allowed in unimpeded. Political activist Jody McIntyre is going to take on Jess Phillips come the General Election, & ableist trolls aren't going to stop him! Right, so I’ve made several videos now covering various independent candidates as a movement seems to be building across the country to challenge the traditional political party model in favour of local picked, locally supported candidates standing for what is right and what is needed on their patch. One of the latest people to announce their intention to stand as an independent is a chap called Jody McIntyre, who is planning on standing in Birmingham Yardley against Labour Friend of Israel Jess Phillips. Jody is disabled, he has cerebral palsy, which is often characterised by muscle weakness, tremors and obviously has a knock on effect to other things that require muscle movement, especially fine motor skills, such as speech, but can also affect sight and touch and hearing. There can also be associated learning difficulties, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that people with the condition are any less switched on to the world around us, than those of us without this condition, so if Jody wants to be an MP, well, just listen to the guy and decide for yourself, but when we need more disabled representation in parliament, because the needs of the long term sick and disabled are not being met, are not being heard are not being listen to, we need more people like Jody prepared to stand not fewer, yet the abuse from online trolls he’s getting, just goes to prove what a pervading abuse issue ableism is and it doesn’t get talked about enough. Right, so Jody McIntyre wants to stand against Jess Phillips as an independent for parliament and despite his disability there is absolutely no reason he can’t do that, but don’t take my word for it, listen to him: Now you tell me he doesn’t know exactly what he’s talking about, isn’t saying stuff that so many of us are also saying, regarding Gaza, Israel, the Labour Party position on that and the absurdity that still, not one single member of Labour Friends of Israel has resigned from that group? His video there was heartfelt, it was meaningful, it was eloquent and certainly his speech difficulties were not holding him back one iota. He’s been to Gaza, he’s seen it with his own eyes and actually he’s seen a whole lot more than that, because not only has he faced abuse online in response to his video there and others he’s put out, he’s faced it here too. In 2010, Jody McIntyre, was on an anti tuition fee protest, the Lib Dems big betrayal you might recall when he was pulled from his wheelchair by the police where he claimed he was hit by a police baton and dragged across a road. The complaint he made to the IPCC was only partially upheld, having taken as long at it had the watchdog agreed the police had used excessive force by dragging him across the road and that he might have been assaulted, but it was now too late to prosecute. Incredibly Starmer's Labour are STILL usingthe Anonyvoter vote system and just selected the owner of Anonyvoter for the GLA using it! Right, so the Labour vote rigging scandal rumbles on some more and we’re back to Croydon East, where the whole incident began, where the police are now carrying out an investigation, because incredibly, after the General Assembly candidate selection for Croydon and Sutton had to be abandoned as part of the original alleged corruption there back in November of last year, the selection has been carried out again – it was actually carried out 2 weeks ago, before news of the police investigation came out, yet incredibly, Labour have used the Anonyvoter online voting system, the very system blamed for either being corrupt, or being open to being corrupted, to carry out this vote again! One of the candidates as regular viewers will know and others who are following this story might well know, is the co owner of the Anonyvoter system and incredibly, unbelievably, the Anonyvoter owner has won the Anonyvoter vote to become Labour’s candidate for the London General Assembly! Right, so can you Adam and Eve it? It’s incredible, who saw it coming? The owner of the voting system Labour use nationwide to select candidates remotely, via online voting, has been picked by their own system to be a Labour candidate for the London General Assembly! Now, for all we know there has been no untoward interference in this particular vote, however there might be because the system is now massively, widely distrusted and I can imagine the guy who was running against Maddie Henson of Henson IT Solutions, owners of Anonyvoter, a chap called Martin Whelton, might well be as aggrieved as others I’ve covered in other videos clearly are, the likes of MPs Sam Tarry and Beth Winter, blaming the Anonyvoter system at least in part, for rigging certain election results in favour of those Keir Starmer and his faction want selected. However, there may well be justifiable reason to surmise that something is afoot again here and once again it is Inside Croydon who are covering this matter most closely, because no matter which you paint it, it would appear that Mrs Henson is not particularly popular. She’s been a councillor since 2014 and one of the reasons she isn’t best liked perhaps is that she’s one of a group of councillors colloquially referred to, certainly by Inside Croydon, as Newman’s Numpties. This is a reference to the former Council leader Tony Newman, who oversaw Croydon Council become only the second Council in 20 years, back in 2020, to become bankrupt. At the time, it had a £67m black hole in its budget, a projected overspend for the following year of £47m, had just £10m left in reserves, yet were holding nearly £2bn in capital loans, much of which had been tied up in risky property investment. So the council went bust in no small part due to bad investments. Newman quit, the Council got bailed out, the Tories took charge, the Council went bankrupt again in 2022.
