We've been making progress. Lots of stumps have been ground down, more firewood is getting stacked and eventually we'll be able to build stuff! One step at a time....

Today was spent getting rid of some stumps that were in the way...and.....the belt broke on the grinder.

I found this old rig on the dump nearly 20 years ago. It's still working. Cheap is good, free is better! Having a cement mixer can be handy and it's not Chinese junk.

Family members are working on building a homestead from the ground up in northern Maine. We've been working on cleaning up junk trees and making things look better. Once in awhile the wood chipper gets lazy, goes on strike and doesn't want to work anymore.

In this video we are clearing area, moving old brush piles, burning them and getting things cleaned up. Fire danger was low so we were able to get daytime burning permits and took advantage of it.
