A man walked into a hotel and went to the front desk to check in. The receptionist gave him the key and told him, while showing him the way to his room, that there was an unnumbered room in the hotel that remained locked and that it was extremely forbidden to enter there. Furthermore, she warned that no one, under any circumstances, should look through the keyhole. He followed the clerk's instructions and went straight to her room. Burning with curiosity about the forbidden room, he walked down the hall, found the door, and turned the knob. It was locked. So he decided to peek through the keyhole. What he saw was a hotel room identical to his, but there was a female guest. She was very pale and was in the corner of the room with her head against the wall and her back to the door. The man looked intrigued and almost knocked on the door out of curiosity, but decided it would be better not to and go back to the room, despite the fact that he had already done what the receptionist said not to do.
