There are many things that I would like to change before taking the time to render out a final version. I intend to make the final much more fantastic and colorful for sure.

Rowboat among the mangroves (Blender Animation, Tutorial in Description)
Hey all, this is a short animation I made while refining my understanding of Blender's shrink-wrap modifier for use as a "float plane" over water simulations. Eventually I want to make a more extensive animation about these sort of things. Unfortunately I ran into some problems during preliminary tests when attempting a more dynamic scene where this figure was trying to row through ocean waves. If you want to see what I am talking about just check out the progress gifs I post on ArtStation: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/EabDDN

Please Stand By... (Loading Screen Blender Animation Loop)
Come here weary traveler, rest a while and breath along to this simple loading screen style loop. This is a 3D animation made entirely within Blender. If you would like to see the full setup and geo-nodes just let me know in the comments. Thanks!
A big thanks to Khamurai for the idea. Here is his tutorial on geo node based loading screen loops. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WOVHtD06BhE

Glacial Field, Magical Barrier Blender Loop (Tutorial in Description)
Hey-oh, here is a little haunting animation with a glacial backdrop and an interesting pulsing heat shield. Unfortunately it seems the audio can be a bit grumbly on low end speakers. I hope you enjoy!

Tornado at Sea Blender Animation Loop (Tutorial in Description)
Another Blender animation loop. This time a tornado at sea with some wind and waves. I think the tornado itself turned out great, the sea and background are mostly just placeholder so that I could render out a test animation of the swirling clouds and get the relative speed figured out. The next step is to make the tornado wiggle and move across the ocean surface. There is so much more for me to learn about how to fine tune a realistic ocean surface. Next project may be lightning. Might be I can bring it all together and get that camera moving through the storm. That would certainly be exciting!
A huge thanks to Bad Normals for his recent tornado tutorial. I made my own version of course but just seeing how someone else went about it solving these issues made me confident enough to try. His tutorial is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0bCbLY7s3zQ&list=WL&index=105

Opera House Test (Quarter Framerate)
This is part of a much larger project, this is a test consisting of a camera flying around the space. I realized too late that the camera was moving much too fast when showing the balcony boxes so I just decided to quarter the framerate so as to make it easier to pause on particular still images.

Scarecrow Animation Sample
Spooky Season week 2.
I decided to revisit armatures/rigs and character modeling this time. I learned a lot while making this test animation, but perhaps more importantly I now know specifically what I need to improve on.
In the future I will be more careful when building my character mesh so that it does not pull open at the seams during animation. This issue was the result of how I built the clothes as extensions of a main body. My main mistake was not reconnecting the individual vertexes before joining the shirt/overalls/gloves/boots. I realized this too late as I had already subdivided and applied the solidify modifier to the individual pieces of clothing. This meant that at that stage there were way too many vertexes to connect manually. Now that I recognize that potential issue I can prevent it from occurring in the future.
This is my first attempt creating a rain effect. In retrospect, I realize that the first camera angle creates unnecessary confusion stemming from the fact that I currently have the wind force directing falling rain towards the camera rather than moving more tangentially to the viewer's perspective. The direction made sense in earlier drafts as I was working with different camera angles. More importantly, the motion blur settings in Eevee will need to be adjusted in the future so that the shutter speed creates a more appropriate "tail" behind each raindrop.
The camera movement and bird flight remains way too jerky. I have tried to fix this in the graph editor and timeline but it never seems smooth enough. Perhaps my next project ought to be focused on solving that perennial issue. If anyone has suggestions I would be happy to hear any advice.

Halloween Barn Animation
Hey all, this is a sample draft of a Halloween themed project that I have been working on during the first week of Spooky Season. There are plenty of small things I will improve but the biggest thing is getting the flock of birds to move more smoothly through the air. Right now I am using a technique that relies on emitting the birds from a deforming mesh's volume, but unfortunately things seem a bit too jittery. That said, now that I have proof of concept I can spend more time sculpting realistic looking birds which should help a lot. The lantern object is actually the part I am most proud of but you can hardly see it at all from so far away. In the future I may create additional camera shots which can highlight smaller things like that.
Happy Spooky Season everyone!

Swirling Leaves Animation
This is a test of blender's forces and double sided materials. I added a simple courtyard with a pair of benches and an ocean-like background. The twisting movement within the tree seems a bit too strong, but it allows for a few falling leaves from time to time.
Hopefully you enjoy this calming little animation.

3D Modeling Exercise: Bec De Corbin, Rondel Dagger and Anvil
This is an exercise in 3d modeling and texturing. I intend to clean up these meshes and modify the metal material effect. That said, I figured that I was far enough along in the process that I could render out a test animation and post it for those who might be interested in what is next.
Also, if you like procedural nebula art then I'd recommend you check out my ArtStation page where I just posted a series of nebula still images. https://www.artstation.com/artwork/zO...

DiceTry Intro
DiceTry is a youtuber who makes video essays based around Magic The Gathering and D&D as well as other media commentary. This is the fifth draft of a potential intro sequence for them. I wanted to render the particles as semi-glass like crystalline shapes but Blender kept crashing whenever I ran tests with those. If I get that figured out I will update things. I hope you enjoy!
Significant audio changes, I am going for a cosmic intrigue mood. Hopefully it is not too dark sounding, I might change that later.
