Washington County Republican Commissioners Wheeler, Malone and Huffine worked with Democrat Jones repeatedly to not have the nullification resolution heard. Please write Commissioner Carder and Johnson a thank you as they motioned and seconded to have it heard. Also thank Tomita, Davenport, Matherly, England a thank you. And please write Tucker, Malone, Wexler, Huffine and Wheeler your disappointment as they all voted not even to have it heard or discussed.

Unfortunately our video guy was down for the count so this isn't the usual format. Malina and Maureen captured the video in two parts. Johnson City has been chose as one of 7 US UNICEF child friendly cities. But when the tagline is to "empower the voices of children" in a time where the government is demoting the voices of parents and ignoring parental consent. We should be rightly concerned. It sounds like Johnson City will vote this down in the January meeting. This is why you should encourage they do.
