Boat Build, Stern, Keel, and Stringers - From December 2020
With the stern structure about 99% done, it was time to set it up on workstands and move on to the keel and stringers and get those pieces prepped for install.

Assembling the Stern Section Part 1 - From December 2020
This was originally a 31 minute long video, so I divided it into two separate videos. In both videos, I started assembling the parts that make up the stern and transom section of the boat.

Making and Assembling Transom Parts - November 2020
In this video, I started assembling the stern and transom. Had to add a piece of cyprus wood that was thick enough for the outboard to clamp to. Keep in mind, this was recorded in November 2020. I mention that because toward the end of the video I made a comment about the Covid vaccines that were still being developed at the time. We didn't know then what we know now, and I'll leave it at that. Hindsight is indeed 20/20.

Making Transom Braces - November 2020
These braces are structural components that will spread the forces produced by the outboard motor from the stern to the frame of the boat.

Fabbing the Keel Beam - Posted to YT September 2020.
In this video, I fabricated the keel beam. At the end of the video I mentioned that we were getting ready to move back to south Texas, but that didn't happen. That was right about the time the real estate market went nuts in Texas, and we just missed the time window. As of January 2023 when this is being posted to Rumble, we're actually looking at moving out of state when we finally do retire. Plans do change, and they have changed many times since I produced this video!

A Break from the Heat - September 2020.
I said several times that this channel is about faith, fishing, and boat building. And for the time being, it's going to be mostly about boat building! But....my faith in Christ must always come first! So in this video, I talk about my faith, specifically, the shield of faith the Apostle Paul describes in Ephesians chapter 6.

Seat Mod on the Hobie - Posted on YT May 2020
I didn't like the way the Hobie Outback handled with that first seat. So I started from scratch and installed a completely different seat. Also, this was when I decided to sell the Hobie and build a boat of my own.

Test Ride on my Old Hobie. Posted on Youtube May 2020
This was one of only a couple of times on the water in my old Hobie Outback. Not long after this, I decided to sell the Hobie and build my own boat.

Ducks in my Garage! From April 2020.
This was my second ever video that I posted to my YouTube channel. I was still learning how to create and edit videos at that time. (And I still haven't downloaded a better video editor yet. Still using the one that came with my computer.) But those ducks walked right into the garage while I was out there working and made themselves at home!

The Beginning of my Boat Build Channel. Created March 2020.
This channel started out to be a fishing channel over on YouTube. Then the year 2020 happened. Eventually, this turned into a video series documenting the construction of my home built flats skiff. Here it is, 2023, and the boat is in the completion phase. Over the course of the next few months, I plan to upload all the videos I posted on YouTube to this platform in chronological order. I have my reasons for doing this and as I'm sure you're all aware, YouTube does not treat all content creators alike, especially 2A and other conservative content and we'll leave it at that for now. Enjoy the channel, and bear with me as it will take time to upload all my videos over here.
