3D Platformer - Prototyping & Development.
Showcase of prototype 3D platformer game development.
The game takes place inside of a human body, the player has been injected into the body by a crazy, but not evil, scientist who is experimenting with technologies which enable the exploration of inner space on a nano scale.
The scientist is motivated by the death of his father who was victim to genetic experiments conducted on the population of the earth by a tyrannical government searching for the keys to immortality and aiming to reduce the earth’s population.
This government injected, forcefully, massive sections of the population with experimental DNA manipulating injections that were designed to fundamentally change the targets DNA.
The patient, a young male, and recipient of the injections body has been overtaken by various turbo cancers and blood clots, their body is now host to a variety of genetically modified, nano scale, bio-synthetic parasites who are feeding on and destroying the patient from the inside out.
The player will, through their actions, with guidance from the scientist, destroy, remove and reverse the damage caused by the experimental bioweapon.
The scientist has put out an advertisement online inviting participants in revolutionary and groundbreaking research studies which will change the way internal medicine is practiced, with that information, a poor financial situation and a lack of care for their own safety, the main character eagerly arrives and signs NDA’s & waivers to take part in the experiments in exchange for a modest number of “credits”.
The scientist quickly begins the experiments with an injection, knocking the player unconscious, and as the player awakens to the cutscene (Cutscene #1) it becomes apparent, not all is as it seems.

We Live, They Die. Action Script 3.0 Game Prototype
In this module We were tasked with creating a simple game in Action Script 3.0, using Adobe Animate.
This was a learning opportunity, we were learning to code in AS 3.0 as we went and we were instructed specifically to avoid object oriented programming.
This is what I came up with in just 10 weeks.

Virtual Production Experimentation.
This video is a compilation of short clips and photographs taken during experimentation with Virtual Production.
During this module we were given the freedom to experiment with new forms of interactive media. I chose to use the motion capture facility to produce a workflow enabling Hybrid - Green Screen, Virtual Production. With the intention that this will be utilised to create game cutscenes for an upcoming project.
The technical elements of this experimentation were worked out over the course of ten weeks and I was able to successfully develop this workflow to a point where I can create a virtual environment and in real time mix in a real world actor.
