Thank you! From my earliest childhood my mother prayed with me. Then taught me how to pray. I listened as she prayed and learned how to talk to God. She taught me to know Him and realize that He is a real Person. It was prayer that I learned first before I could read, and Jesus became my very life. The breath of life given to me has returned back to Him through numerous decades of prayer. I am always looking heavenwards. It was said of Samuel Rutherford the Puritan that whenever he was seen walking through town he was always looking up. He was a powerful, loving, humble praying man. It was said about Jesus that "He arose a great while before day and went out into a solitary place and there prayed." Mark 1:35. We know that His life was a full life of prayer from start to finish. Many battles of the centuries past were fought and won through prayer. Lives were forever changed by prayer. Prayers prayed from the heart to God become eternal in the heavens. The greatest thing you will ever do in this life is pray to God in secret. And really to pray without ceasing as Jesus taught us. That is where you will truly meet the Lord, and will always have His ear and heart. He will answer you in His style and way. He will make an artesian spring of water open up within your soul as you go on praying. Making your prayers sweet and full of life as an offerings to Him. "God's command to "pray without ceasing" is founded on the necessity we have of His grace to preserve the life of God in the soul, which can no more subsist one moment without it, than the body can without air." ~ John Wesley

Thank you! The Lord has been really moving deeply within me regarding suffering. Maybe it is because I suffered a lot during most of my entire life. But perhaps moreover because He sees suffering continually and it strongly moves Him. When we suffer and come out of it we are never the same again. We are "changed into His image from glory to glory." I believe the Lord is more concerned with suffering than with high altitudes of learning than anything else. Most of the world suffers, and has been suffering hard since the fall of man. When Jesus was on earth, we see His life in living, loving motion when He saw heavy suffering. Jesus was moved in deep compassion that flooded the power of God's healing love to so many. What Jesus was then, He is now, nothing has changed. Are you suffering? Christ knows all about it. Elizabeth Elliot wrote a book called, "Suffering Is Not For Nothing." She found that the greatest sufferings became "gateways to joy" in Christ because she found Him there. I too found Jesus there and those same gateways of joy, and now Jesus invites you to enter in and abide there with Him. "The deepest lessons come out of the deepest waters and the hottest fires." ~ Elisabeth Elliot

Thank you! I was watching a little video of Joni-Eareckson-Tada speaking about long suffering in her body. She said something that stood out to me more than anything as she described her never-ending pain." When I wake up in the morning I need Him...Oh do I NEED Him! And you know I do not think that is such a bad thing, but rather a good thing to need Jesus." Soon afterwards, I watched a short video she made called "Songs of Suffering." It was deeply moving to me personally because of so much personal longsuffering I endured though out most of my life. When someone speaks who has been there, I hear the words they speak more than most other things they might say. She spoke about "NEEDING Jesus." For a few days I thought about my need for Him and began to sing that song, "I Need Thee Every Hour." My heart began to well up and the word of God came rushing in with verses and human examples of suffering. And I began to say emphatically, "Lord, I NEED your love, your strength, your mercy and all that You are every hour! I do not just want to want you, but I will, from now on NEED you as flowers need the rain, and the air I breathe as long as I live!" "The lowest places will become the highest places when you begin to sing hymns and making melody in your heart." You will find that you will gain ascent as you sing the sacred "Mountain Songs of Suffering" and there abide. "This is the only time in history when I get to fight for God. This is the only part of my eternal story when I am actually in the battle. Once I die, I’ll be in celebration mode in a glorified body in a whole different set of circumstances. But this is my limited window of opportunity, and I’m going to fight the good fight for all I’m worth." ~ Joni Eareckson Tada

Thank you! I have a vivid memory from my youth of a steep switchback trail that led from the beach to the top of a high hill. Every now and then my friend would tell me to stop and turn around to see the expanding view of that great ocean and skies. When we got to the top the view was vast and breathtaking. It was not easy getting up those switchbacks. There were times I felt I could not make it, but my friend would encourage me by having me stop and look again, to gain confidence and to go again. She was before me going up so I would place each one of my feet in her footsteps because I knew she knew the safe way. Jesus always prepares our way by going before us. Our future is in His hands. Ours is to trust Him and stay in His word and in prayer. In Psalm 85:13 it says, "Righteousness shall go before him; and shall set us in the way of his steps." Never fear what the world fears. You are not of this world but of the "Other World." Jesus is leading you and is already in the days ahead where He will meet you there. Keep in His footsteps. His way is sure and safe now and always. Thank you! Lately many people have been saying that they have been getting a strong inward sense that we are at the end of all things. They have been expressing a sense of "knowing" that the work they have been doing for the Lord is being wrapped up. Yet feel the Godly spiritual impulse to still go on laboring in the Lord until the very end. I too have been experiencing with growing intensity, coupled with urgency, this very same thing. I believe that there are thousands of others around the world that are feeling this same "knowing." All of us continue to evermore press in and press on to "redeem the time for the days are evil." A couple of days ago I felt that knowing-intensity become overwhelming. In fact as I sat there I felt my whole body fill up with it. And I said, "Lord, I can't explain it but it feels like eternity is enlarging itself within me!" So I went to the Lord in prayer. I had prayed before here and there, but this time I wanted to really talk to Jesus about this. The following day I had a dream that showed me things are wrapping up and a door is open. I think this dream showed me that our time here is short. However, the powerful energy of the Holy Spirit is strengthening us, giving us power to do all we can in the power of joy set before us. Jesus gave us this final privileged work to do until the sound of the last trump. I am certain of it. "I must learn that the purpose of my life belongs to God, not me. Thank you! In our walk towards heaven there are very few people that we have observed their way and manner of life in the Lord. These few stand out among the rest. They are steadfast, resilient, and always unmovable. Though all kinds of religious movements happen time and again throughout life, they never waver. They never flow with the masses but remain firm like "the everlasting mountains." When John the Baptist baptized Jesus he said, "I saw and bare record that this is the Son of God." John 1:34. Every now and then someone comes along that we bare record of their unwavering faithfulness until their death. Charles Stanley was one of them. He passed away at 90 years of age, and stood the test of time, and I bare record "that this was [a] son of God" in every way. It was not only what I learned from him through the many decades, but the way he lived among us. We are told by Paul the Apostle in Hebrews 6:12, "Be ye followers of those who by patience and faith obtained the promises." Who are you following? Who are you bearing record of that stands out among the rest? Not for celebrity, but because you see their lives bearing record of the Son of God. These that have gone ahead of us went to heaven, and they knew the way, and we know it because we have seen it. Paul said, "Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ." 1 Corinthians 11:1. What are people bearing witness of you? Stay on the ancient paths they walked on and left for us an example that we should follow them into glory. There will we rejoice together "world without end." “The life of faith is not a life of mounting up with wings, but a life of walking and not fainting.” ― Oswald Chambers

Thank you! Of all the gifts God has given to us, prayer excels the most. Many of us have labored through the years in prayer for someone, or people we love. Yet, they seem so steadfast against coming to Christ for salvation. Years, even decades later, "they grow none the better but only grow worse." But there is a growing power within the praying saint that cannot be thrown down, and only grows more powerful and deeper through life. From Charles Spurgeon devotional "Morning and Evening" he writes: "It is remarked that Joshua never grew weary in the fighting, but Moses did grow weary in the praying; the more spiritual an exercise, the more difficult it is for flesh and blood to maintain it. Let's cry, then, for special strength, and may the Spirit of God, who helps us in our weakness, as He allowed help to Moses, enable us, like him to continue with our hands remaining steady "till the sunset;" until the evening of life is over; until we shall come to the rising of a better sun in the land where prayer is swallowed up in praise." Thank you! About this time last year I had a dream. I was in an enormous stadium filled with women. All of us were told to stand up and sing. All the women as far as I can see were all singing the same song. A song I did not know how to sing. All the women were singing strong and loudly full of great joy. They sang these words: "Soon we'll be together, Soon we'll fly away, Soon we'll be together, with each passing day. Oh, Soon we'll be together, Soon we'll fly away, Soon we'll be together always." Then my mouth was full of those words and I sang strong and loudly with all the women. I literally woke up singing that song. A few days ago out of the blue I started singing that song. I have been singing it every day. Three days ago I came across a little video from "Melissa from Midnight Oil." She shared a dream she had. In the dream she heard a woman's voice singing, "Oh God we are leaving....we are leaving...Oh God we are leaving...we are leaving." In Isaiah 26:19 it reads: "Thy dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead." At the time of the last trump, the dead in Christ will rise first. I believe Isaiah's prophecy gives us a peak at a glorious moment when the dead will arise and sing triumphantly as they are coming out of their graves. I think we too, as we "who are alive and remain" will also arise with singing to "meet them in the air, so shall we ever be with the Lord." I would expect the Lord and all of us will go away into heaven singing in great power and glory. “We will have all eternity to celebrate our victories, but only a few short hours to win them.” ― Amy Carmichael

Thank you! The will of man is the most powerful thing within the soul. Satan knows this very well and labors to no end to bind the will of people. Many people are bound in areas of their souls, yet have freedom in other parts. They go long in their Christian lives somewhat prospering but never having the full freedom they long for. There is always something they cannot get mastery over, so they accept it as being "just the way it is." But this is not God's will. Paul said 2 Timothy 2:26, "that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will." The real rendering of the whole verse should be as follows: “And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil—being held captive by him—to do His (God’s) will.” "At his will," should be translated to His will; and so the will of God should be meant. Bring that part of your will that has been ensnared by the devil under the Lordship of Jesus Christ, then you will be able to reign in the will of God in His perpetual kingdom. "I saw that the kingdom must be interior before it can be exterior...where God really reigns, the surrender must be the interior surrender of the convicted free men, and not merely the outward surrender of the conquered slave."~ Hannah Whital Smith

Thank you! Every now and then the people of the Lord take spiritual inventory. They come to crossroads along the path of this life and wonder what good they have ever done for the Lord. In fact this is quite common for most believers who are filled with the Holy Spirit. This week I was thinking about the years I have been in the Lord. Looking back to decades of things I had done in His name. A couple of mornings ago the Lord drew me into prayer while I was reading my Bible. I had already prayed, yet I knew that He wanted me to talk to Him about what was really in my heart. I immediately knew it. So I spoke with Him about what I was deeply feeling in a very emotional, truthful and honest way. I poured out my heart to Him. I said, "Lord, in all honesty I cannot tell if I have ever done anything for you at all!" I went back to reading my Bible and I began to hear Him speak in my heart. He said, "It's not so much what you have done, or ever done. I wasn't looking at that. I am not so much interested in your work, but in your faithfulness. Faithfulness is more than the work. It means more to me than anything you have ever done." As soon as those words were spoken I felt a release and a joy entered in. And I realized that it was in the smallest things that He sees me do every day. The common and mundane done that no one sees but Him. Jesus said, "He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much." Luke 16:10. I saw with brand new spiritual sight that it is the things that are least is what turns out to be the much in His Kingdom. When we live this way, we become like spiritual kings. "We are not made for the mountains, for sunrises, or for the other beautiful attractions in life - those are simply intended to be moments of inspiration. We are made for the valley and the ordinary things of life and that is where we have to prove our stamina and strength.”― Oswald Chambers

Especially in light of where we are in the closing chapter of this age. Paul the apostle spoke these poignant words saying, "That I might know Him and the power of His resurrection being made conformable unto His death." Philippians 3:10. We now have power in and with Christ in all aspects of life. We have been given the power of His love, power in and for prayer. The power of His mercy, joy, strength and peace. In essence, it is HIS life in us and "the power of an endless life." "Our Lord's Cross is the gateway into His life: His Resurrection means that He has power now to convey His life to us. When we are born again from above, we receive from the Risen Lord His very life. Our Lord's Resurrection destiny is to bring "many sons unto glory." The fulfilling of His destiny gives Him the right to make us sons and daughters of God. We are never in the relationship to God that the Son of God is in; but we are brought by the Son into the relation of sonship. When Our Lord rose from the dead, He rose to an absolutely new life, to a life He did not live before He was incarnate. He rose to a life that had never been before; and His resurrection means for us that we are raised to His risen life, not to our old life. One day we shall have a body like unto His glorious body, but we can know now the efficacy of His resurrection and walk in newness of life. "I would know Him in the power of His resurrection." "As Thou hast given Him power over all flesh, that He should give eternal life to as many as Thou hast given Him." The Holy Spirit is the Deity in proceeding power Who applies the Atonement to our experience. Thank you! There came a time for Paul the Apostle to turn the torch over to the elders of Ephesus. He was in Miletus, where he summoned them to let them know he was moving on. He spent most of his mission in bonds and imprisonments. He said to them, "And now, behold, I go bound in the spirit unto Jerusalem, not knowing the things that shall befall me there: Save that the Holy Ghost witnesseth in every city, saying that bonds and afflictions abide me. But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God. "Acts 20:22-24. There was a calm sense of joy in his discharging his duty to others who would carry on. He went "bound in the spirit to Jerusalem." No other time did Paul say anything about going or doing anything being "bound in the spirit" until then. And yet it was the first time he equated being bound with joy. You see, there are many who have been on the very long, narrow road of the Cross. Many times finding themselves bound by so much external hardships, shipwrecks, emotional imprisonments, sorrows, sickness and disappointments. But there comes a time like Paul, where the tide turns, and these that have been faithful to the Lord will be ready to repeat those same words with the same joy...."And now, behold, I go bound in the spirit to the new Jerusalem, to finish my course with joy." Thank you! This morning in devotions I read how Jesus led His disciples as far as Bethany before His Ascension. I lingered over the part about the town of Bethany. The name means, "House of Affliction," or "House of Misery," or "House of Affliction." In Aramaic it simply means, "Poor." Jesus spent a lot of His time in that town, as well as in the home of Mary, Martha and Lazarus. I think it was really the only home "away from Home" that He found comfort and rest in. He loved these three people very much. Bethany was a place were many powerful miracles were performed. It speaks of what mattered, rather who mattered most to Jesus. The poorest of the poor, the sickest of the sick, the affliction of the afflicted. The tormented. He loved them. It was there He parted from them. Forty days later they would see Him ascend into heaven, "a cloud received Him out of their sight. The parting in Luke between His disciples, and the Ascension before them in the book of Acts made it possible for them to receive power from on high. He went to be enthroned on the right hand of God. Where "He upholds all things by the word of His power." "And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen. The Ascension as an end; the Ascension as a beginning; the Ascension as the pledge of the return is no metaphor, it is reality. HE IS COMING AGAIN.... ~ "Behold, He cometh with clouds...." Revelation 1:7

Thank you! The days are growing rapidly dark. We are now swiftly entering into the days foretold in the book of Revelation and the words spoken by the prophets. There is a speed in which things are coming to an end. The collapse of the dollar is imminent and starvation is on the rise, "Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken." Luke 21:26 There seems to be no real safety anymore, and people are becoming increasingly desperate. Crime and panic are on the rise. There will be impossible situations everyone will face. Things that this nation has never been through. God spoke in the book of Jeremiah saying that He wants us to "Understand and know Him, that He is the Lord." When we understand Him, then we know what to do in the worst of times because we have made Him our Lord and have trusted in His word. He is the God of the impossible! Speaking of Himself He says, "There is nothing impossible for Me." When we understand and know this it is because we have experienced Him, and trusted in His enduring faithfulness. God will be glorified in us to the very end, and we will be like those who "run with torches." "Cowards never won heaven. Do not claim that you are begotten of God and you have His royal blood running in your veins unless you can prove your lineage by His heroic spirit: to dare to be holy in spite of men and devils.” ― William Gurnall

Thank you! There are times when we find ourselves hit with bad news. The kind that feels as if you have been knocked so hard your head spins. You cannot find your center or bearings. Mountain-like fear comes and down you go. There are many who have felt so strong in the Lord, flourishing like a palm tree in Lebanon. You have enjoyed the days of laughter and joy, and everything going well. Then the storm comes and you can find no strength to even so much as say one word in prayer to the Lord, or read one sentence in the Bible. How many of us can relate to this experience? Who of us, right in the midst of our time of distress and sadness, have been able to triumph as the Israelites did? Yet the Psalm writer says, "We went through the flood on foot, there did we rejoice in Him." Psalm 66:6. The Lord does not expect anyone to build up some kind of faith froth, and grab a spear and rush down into the valley of Elah to war when their lives are experiencing crushing. He wants us to "be still and know I am God." You can be sure that God will never say to us, "Stand still," or "sit still," or "be still" unless He is going to do something. God is going to see you through it. He never leaves anyone in destruction. He will bring you out of it. Therefore, He "will be exalted among the heathen, He will be exalted in the earth," through the triumph He will give you now and forever for His namesake. “As for His failing you, never dream of it — hate the thought of it. The God who has been sufficient until now, should be trusted to the end.” ― Charles H. Spurgeon

Thank you! The name of Jesus Christ has for over the last 2,000 years evoked either strong loving worship, or sound hatred. There are some that would never mention His name, others use it as routine curse word. His name among the religious carnival crowd is also used like a "magic word-wand" over everything and grossly misused. His name has in most ways become commonly over-used along in everyday language expression. But His name is not what most people think it is. It is not like yours and mine. His name was given to Him by His Father in heaven. He said, "Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me....I kept them in thy name." John 17:11-12. It says in Philippians 2:9-11: " Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." There is great power in the name of Jesus Christ. The power of an endless life, the power of His enduring love and mercy, power to save, protect, to deliver and defend. This world for now, is "under the power of the wicked one," but we have been given power in the all-mighty name of Jesus Christ to overcome him completely. Worship the Lord Jesus Christ, bow the knee, look away from this earth upwards to His throne in Heaven. Look away from the chaos and darkness of this perishing world, adorn Him with strong praises and songs of love. Thank you! Yesterday my husband and I went on the spur of the moment to the Simon Weisenthal Holocaust Museum. It was very moving and deeply touching as we walked through silent rooms and corridors. There were endless beautiful images of Holocaust survivors, and those who sadly perished. Towards the end of the tour there was an exhibit that had small groups of people walking through a replica of the streets in Berlin in the 40's. Each step of the way depicted the normal daily, happy Jewish life, that ended in a total breakdown of their society. At the final point we all walked through chain link fences, that took us through narrow brick passages into a replica of a real gas chamber. Films of people who were once alive and then perished in these gas chambers were playing on either side of the walls. While we stood there, a narrators voice read a letter left behind of a young girl who knew she would die. She thanked God for giving her a good life, and for all His goodness to her family. Then real recordings of groups of people in the gas chambers crying out, but not for pain or terror. They were worshiping God with loud voices because they loved Him until the end. Voices echoing from the past were filling my ears and piercing my heart. I knew that God wanted me to hear them. To hear their voices which I will never forget. This love of God must live in us, and we too in these final last days, will worship God to the end with loud voices because we too love our Lord Jesus Christ. And those who have cried the loudest on earth will be the ones who will worship and sing the loudest in heaven. “Look at how a single candle can both defy and define the darkness.”― Anne Frank

Thank you! We have many friends throughout our lives. There are friends that come and go. Some stay for a time and go on. There are those we thought would be in our lives till the end and left for different reasons. And there are some that we suffered betrayal from and others passed away. Then of course there are those who stand the test of time and will be with us until the end. Friendship with Jesus is learned in all kinds of friendships good and bad. And through this life we learn that it is so much more to be not just "a friend" of God, but like Abraham "the friend of God." We learn that no matter who stays or goes, Jesus never leaves us. He can be safely trusted in, counted and relied on. There is only cold obedience, dead works, empty wells of service without us being "the" friends of God. Friendship with God is a growing love that only beautifully intensifies joyful service and a life of peace that enters into our eternal life. The Friendship of God is with those that fear Him and love Him. “If Christ is not all to you He is nothing to you. He will never go into partnership as a part Saviour of men. Thank you! Every now and then in our journey towards the Heavenly Jerusalem we are going to enter into spiritual deserts. We wake up one morning and feel a kind of strange absence of the Lord. In my early days as a believer I would immediately think I had done something wrong, or sinned and didn't know it. I would run through lists of possible sins and transgressions. I didn't understand. As decades have gone by I still venture into desert places. Though now I do not react the way I did in the days my youth. I know that the Lord is always on the move, and keeps us moving. Which keep us growing up in Him. Strengthening us, causing us to trust in Him. Not in feelings that are fleeting. It creates a deeper crevice in our hearts that yearns more deeply for Him than when we have had sense of His Presence with us all the time. If you are feeling this same thing do not fear. These desert places seem to get rid of all the unnecessary spiritual fluff. You will find that it is ONLY Jesus that you want, and no one and nothing else. It is His purpose to get you to a place where He can command you to do a thing without having to feel anything. But to walk on even places with a quiet humility as a ready-servant of the Lord Jesus Christ. "If you are going to be used by God, He will take you through a number of experiences that are not meant for you personally at all. Thank you! I was came across Ezekiel chapter 47 in devotions. It is one of my most favorite chapters to read because of its wonderful, surreal imagery of living waters that flow forth out from under the threshold of God's House, and from under the altar. The waters flow down into the desert and into the sea, and everywhere these waters flow to becomes a river. Ezekiel went into these waters little by little until he was swimming in it. This river even brings forth new fruit. This is all future and will be realized in during the Millennial Reign of Jesus Christ. However I cannot help but read this chapter without thinking of the rivers of water of life that now flow through us as a "new creation." This is the very life of God living within us. These life-giving waters have only one source. Which is the Bible, the word of God. The word is Jesus Christ. "His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God." Revelation 19:13. But many people these days do not read their Bibles because they only look at it without realizing its heavenly artesian source. They go about always thirsty and trying to drink from other dead water sources. They are like withering branches and can never bear any fruit. They do not live at the Well of Life, but in "marshes and mirey places that cannot be healed." There is a standing invitation: " the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely." Revelation 22:17. "The Bible does not thrill; the Bible nourishes. Give time to the reading of the Bible and the recreating effect is as real as that of fresh air physically." ~ Oswald Chambers

Thank you! Dreams have always played a very important and significant role in Biblical history and throughout the Church Age. God said "...I the LORD will make myself known unto him in a vision, and will speak unto him in a dream." Numbers 12:6. Wars have been fought and won by dreams, and His people led on into safety, and out of trials, experienced deliverances, received warnings. Prophets of old saw our today's future from thousands of years ago. Today the Lord gives us dreams and visions not to add to what is already written. Those things are written and final forever. But now they are for pre-eminent advantage in the realm of prevailing prayer to Him that wears the eternal armor of light. However, now in these days, dreams and visions are given for help in all kind's of prayer, spiritual warfare and warnings. Other times there are dreams that are very personal and others to reveal things needful in wisdom. I had a dream on March 1, 2023. It not only served for a visual warning, but also for a call to prepare as a soldier of Jesus Christ. Perhaps after you listen, you too might feel the call for the gathering together to Him for this final epic time. Only you can know it by Him that you love and know so well. Because you have been faithful to follow Him all your life, and are tried in the fire, and your faith is tempered, and obedience strong. "Cowards never won heaven. Thank you! There is a new movie out right now called the Jesus Revolution. I had no idea it was made until someone sent me a trailer about it. It hit home as I remember that I was a part of it in the very early 70's as a young girl. It was real, and the power of God's love was moving mightily through all lives old and young. There was a rare purity about it, and it was so alive. The very old and very young were all together, and the Presence of Jesus Christ was thick. There were no miracles, signs or wonders. Just the awesome power of His love. No one wanted to go to bed! After all these years, I can honestly say I have never EVER experienced anything like it. Right now we are living in the time of increased knowledge, and love is manufactured and has waxed cold. Paul said that knowledge puffs up but love edifies. Knowledge does not build up His church. The first principle laid down by Paul is the superiority of love over knowledge, love stands first, and knowledge second. Paul said the greatest thing of all was Love and to "Grow in the grace and knowledge of His love." "What we have once enjoyed we can never lose. Thank you! On February 20, 2023 Dr. Michael Heiser passed away from cancer. He was a beautiful man of God, and served the Lord all His life. He always held fast the testimony that He loved so much. One of the things he said in his final words were, "I will die happy to have served the Lord." What a person says at the end of their life as a believer bears the testimony of Jesus that they held fast to the end. It is the culmination of the final witness of the faith of Jesus Christ forever. I read a few days later in Revelation 6:9: "And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held." What are you holding onto? What is your life speaking to others? Of the Sardis church it was said of them that "they had a name that they were alive but were dead." Yet there were a few names Jesus took note of and said they were "those who did not defile their garments and they shall walk with Me in white for they are worthy." John said that he "saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God." How beautiful must the sight of those saints in glory must be that John saw in the light of a thousand suns. Those who "were slain for the word of God and the testimony that they held." What testimony are you holding onto that will bear witness of the one and only True and Living God? A testimony that at your final day will be eligible to bear the signet stamp of The Great Shepherd King Jesus Christ? Of your final words on earth and His name you staked your eternal life on that will be written in the Book of Eternity? "God, hold us to that which drew us first, when the Cross was the attraction, and we wanted nothing else." ~ Amy Carmichael

Thank you! In Devotions this morning I was reading about the Syrophenician woman who came to the Lord while He was in a house with His disciples. She had a demon possessed tormented daughter back at home. She heard about Jesus and came to him one day while he was with His disciples in a house. She threw all to wind knowing she and her nation was considered unclean by Jewish standards and were considered dogs. Not to mention she was a woman. A third-class dog-citizen. She pleaded for help from the Lord, but He told her that it was "not meet for the children's bread to be cast to the dogs." She replied, "Yes, Lord, yet the dogs under the table eat of the children's crumbs." "And he said unto her, For this saying go thy way; the devil is gone out of thy daughter. And when she was come to her house, she found the devil gone out, and her daughter laid upon the bed." Mark 7:25:30. I believe that by the power of the Holy Spirit upon her, she saw that even so much as a few crumbs had all-power in heaven and earth to cast that demon out of her daughter. I solemnly pray for the same revelation she had to be realized in the lives of all true believers now and always. In settled, determined, believing faith that will send the devil out of every life. And like that little daughter, they will find themselves spiritually at rest, laying upon their beds. "Put together all the tenderest love you know of, multiply it by infinity, and you will begin to see glimpses of the love and grace of God.

Thank you! This morning when I was in devotions, my mind began to think of all the paths I have walked on. Beginning from my first new born day in Christ until now. All the detours of deception. The forked road choices I made that took me into other evil (spiritual) lands. Yet, as I thought on, I remembered all the times the Great Shepherd had long patience and love for me. He drew me back to His paths with bands and cords of love. Paths that were always peace, and full of mercy and rest. I began to realize that all those detours and roads that led me to terrible places have only worked in my favor. Those paths led me to only choose to "walk upon mine high places." Christ's high places are where He placed me, and have become my own. It is very personal. There is a path that Isaiah spoke about called the King's Highway, where there is "a way"...."The way of Holiness." It is a promised safe road for the Redeemed. Satan has all kinds of counterfeit paths that seem holy and full of light, but they are only deception. Where there is only noise, chaos, confusion and exhaustion. Stay on the Kings Highway, and walk in His way and you will walk in His peace. It is quiet there, where only His voice can be heard saying, "Come ye after Me." “Hidden in the hollow Of His blessed hand, Never foe can follow, Never traitor stand; Not a surge of worry, Not a shade of care, Not a blast of hurry touch the Spirit there.” — Frances Ridley Havergal
