Palm Sunday holds profound significance, marking the beginning of Holy Week and commemorating Jesus Christ's triumphant entry into Jerusalem. This day is celebrated on the Sunday before Easter and serves as a poignant prelude to the events of Jesus' passion, death, and resurrection, which are central to Christian faith. Jesus enters Jerusalem riding on a donkey, a symbol of peace and humility, contrasting the war horses of conquering kings. This act fulfilled the prophecy from Zechariah 9:9, signaling the arrival of a king who would bring peace. Crowds greeted Jesus by spreading palm branches and cloaks on the road before him, a gesture of respect and honor typically reserved for royalty. The palm branches, in particular, symbolized victory and triumph in the Greco-Roman culture of the time. Palm Sunday serves as a reminder of the fickleness of public opinion. The same crowds that hailed Jesus as king would soon demand his crucifixion, illustrating the human tendency toward changeability and the dangers of mob mentality. This juxtaposition adds depth to the Holy Week observances, inviting believers to steady faithfulness and reflection on their personal journey with Christ.

In a world increasingly filled with chaos, turmoil, and a great increase of sin, it's hard not to feel as if we are living in the end times. End-time discussions often lead to the mentioning of the Rapture, an event where believers in Christ will be caught up to meet the Lord in the air. This concept is grounded in passages such as 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17, which tells us, "For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord." Similarly, 1 Corinthians 15:51-52 speaks of a transformation, saying, "Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed— in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed." These passages offer a glimpse into a moment of divine intervention, where believers are miraculously transformed and taken up to be with the Lord, thereby escaping the tribulation that is to come upon the world. Whether this event is seen as happening before, during, or after the tribulation, the essence of hope remains the same: a promise of deliverance and eternal unity with Christ.

On the first day of the new year he was able to remove the covering of the ark because he saw the surface of the earth was dry (Gen 8:13) The chaos, mess, and pain were behind him. A new world of possibilities was ahead. On one hand the story of Noah is tragic On the other hand, it’s a story of new beginnings and hope Regardless of what your yesterdays looked like You too can step into the new year with hope and a renewed relationship with Christ. The enemy would love nothing more then to see the chains of yesterday keep you from moving forward... But Jesus has the power to forgive your sins, set you free from bondage, heal the pain of your past, Give you peace and joy, despite any circumstances that are coming your way. Let go of the past and Let God and His word to lead you from this day forward LIKE AND FOLLOW IF YOU AGREE
