Life of Obedience (Genesis 17:9-27)
God calls HIs children into a life of obedience. He wants us to hear His voice and do what He says. Jesus makes this clear in the Gospels and it is a principle repeated by Paul in the epistles. God began this call to radical obedience for His people with Abraham when He commanded him to initiate the sign of the covenant. Check out our study through Genesis 17:9-27!

Family of God (1 John 2:12-17)
As God's sons and daughters we have great benefits for being in His family. Ephesians tells us that we have every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ. We also have the benefit of forgiveness of sins, relationship with the Father, and victory over the evil one. Since we have these benefits, we have the ability to choose to love God more than we love the world. Check out our study through 1 John 2:12-17 as we expand on these concepts.

Love One Another (1 John 2:7-11)
One of God's prescribed rules for the body of Christ is for us to love one another. Jesus gave this new commandment to the disciples just prior to going to the cross. One of the ways we show love to our brothers and sisters in Christ is by being patient with them when they offend us. Check out our study through 1 John 2:7-11 as John writes about our love for on another being an indicator of our relationship with God.

Addressing Doubt (Genesis 15:7-21)
God often addresses our doubts with confirmation of His plan! He gives us scriptures, signs, events, and reasons to believe that His plan in our life will come to pass. Life-Changing Power (1 John 2:1-6)
The Gospel of Jesus Christ loves us life-changing power over sin! Your life looks different after to get saved because you are given the power of the Holy Spirit, the you didn't have before, to overcome sin and death. (Romans 6) AS followers of Christ, our lives should reflect this change. If there is no evidence of a changed life, then true self examination should result; are you really saved? John gets to the core of this issue in chapter 2 of his first epistle. Check out our study through John 2:1-6.

Responding to Worry (Genesis 15:1-6)
Worry can be a product of a lack of faith in God's timing. Addressing the Issue (Genesis 13:1-18)
Problems in our life, whether in our heart or with others, need to be properly addressed. Ignoring the problem doesn't solve the problem. You can't fix something that you're pretending isn't there. Humility and a consideration for others should also be present in addressing our issues. In Genesis 13:1-18 we see Abram using these strategies as he addresses an issue with Lot!

Context for Crazy (Bible Prophecy)
Studying, and correctly interpreting, Bible prophecy gives us a framework though which to view current events. This framework allows us to make sense of things that would otherwise seem to be random acts of depraved minds. Two examples come to mind: The exponential explosion of the integration of sexually explicit ideas being foisted upon our children through school curriculums, media, and even in the designs on popular clothing. Secondly, the sudden rise in anti-semitism in conjunction with the United States Administration waffling in their support for Israel during a time of war. Are these random acts of evil or is there something more going on?

Distinct Features - Part 1 (2 Thessalonians 2:1-5)
Did we miss the Rapture? Are we currently in the Tribulation Period?
These are the questions Paul addresses in 2 Thessalonians chapter 2. An incorrect understanding of Bible prophecy caused the church at Thessalonica to live in fear and worry.
