DIVER & SHARKS GET FACE TO FACE
Socorro Island, Revillagigedo. Scuba divers Mecca! During my trip here I came face to face with 3 6ft White Sharks.
This small shark is moderately slender with a broad and flattened head, rounded snout, down-slanted mouth and large eyes. The whitetip reef shark can be distinguished from the similar silvertip and oceanic whitetip sharks by being much smaller and more slender, by lacking the white tips these two sharks have on the pectoral fins, and by possessing a second dorsal fin that is significantly larger than in these two species.
Despite its docile nature during the day the nocturnal whitetip reef shark can become aggressive when hunting at night, thrashing through coral reefs looking for potential prey. The whitetip reef shark usually hunts alone, but is non-territorial and will occasionally work in cooperation with others in the pursuit of prey. Feeding primarily on bottom-dwelling octopus, lobsters, crabs and bony fish, it often chases its prey into a crevice before jamming its body in after it, sealing the exit!

Scuba divers swim with giant manta rays
These divers in the Revillagigedo Islands had the amazing opportunity to swim with two 15 foot giant manta rays in the open ocean. How cool is that?

SO MANY SHARKS! LOST DIVER CANNOT BELIEVE HIS LUCK!
Diving in Malaysia, Sipidan. It was a morning dive, my 1st of the year..unbelievable moment happened when I realised I had lost my dive group, with a bottomless reef & all alone I started to panic! Especially when a group of 5 large Grey reef sharks show d up! For some reason though my adrenaline had kicked in & finding my friends faded & I just decided to embrace the moment and film all the action that was goin on!! One of the most exillerating dives I’ve ever had!!
The Grey Reef typically grows no larger than 2.5 meters (8 feet). This species can live to about 25 years of age. What really sets this shark apart is its keen sense of smell.
Like all Reef Sharks, it loves the warm and shallow waters near coral reefs or atolls. This is the most common shark in the entire Indo-Pacific and spends most if its time in depths up to 800 meters (2,635 feet).
This is a very social species, often seen building “schools” of more than 100. They are active both during the day as well as at night. Social hierarchies and dominance varies depending on the habitat of various shark populations, but a social structure is almost always apparent.
Because they are larger than most other species of Reef Shark, they are considered the most dominant species in the sensitive reef ecosystem.

EPIC Footage of 10ft GIANT Moray!!
During my Diving trip to Mexico, Isla Socorro I had a close Encounter with this GIANT Moray!
I just remember looking down, seeing this enourmous mouth. I couldn’t believe I Hadn’t been bitten!!
Their eyes are rather small, morays rely on their highly developed sense of smell, lying in wait to ambush prey. Their jaws are wide, framing a protruding snout. Most possess large teeth used to tear flesh or grasp slippery prey. Also they have a second set of jaws in their throat which also possess teeth! When feeding, morays launch these jaws into the mouth, where they grasp prey and transport it into the throat and digestive system..LUCKILY for myself this Moray decided to stay calm & let me film this AMAZING Shot!!

Diver Encounters GIANT Moray
The giant moray is a species of moray eel and a species of marine fish in the family Muraenidae. In terms of body mass, it is the largest moray eel.As the name suggests, it is a large eel, reaching up to 3 m (9.8 ft) in length and 30 kg (66 lb) in weight. The giant moray is carnivorous, it leaves its lair at night to actively hunt its prey along the reef. It mainly feeds on fish and occasionally on crustaceans.
It is known to engage in cooperative hunting with the roving coralgrouper & also lives in lagoons and on the outer slopes of coral reefs, during the day it sits sheltered in crevices between 1 and 50 meters deep.

Dolphins And Divers Share Incredible Underwater Interaction
During a scuba trip to the Revillagigedo Islands, these people heard the underwater clicking sounds of dolphins. Check out their incredible encounter!
Swimming with dolphins is high up the holiday bucket list for many taking an exotic trip.
This extraordinary footage shows how tourists can make dolphins extremely excited about their presence. A video of a diver swimming with the animals in the Revillagigedo Islands shows their delirious reaction when befriended by human.
Their underwater interaction is incredibly touching, but it also offers an important message: Love animals and don’t litter. Swimming with large, sentient and often predatory animals means we must play by a special set of behavioral and legal rules that most other reef organisms don’t require.
Members of Cetacea, dolphins and whales, have a larger brain to body mass ratio with more folds in their cranial tissues than humans. Much of this extra mass is in the communications center. So while we value our rich languages, these flippers communicate on levels we cannot even comprehend and can do so over enormous distances.
How dolphins and whales communicate information over miles of ocean with clicks and whistles has been the subject of many scientific dissertations. We still have little idea what they’re talking about!
No other animal has the ability or intelligence to impart such a sense of awe as a whale or a dolphin. Even when viewed from the surface, the power of a diving humpback or the intense energy of a dolphin in play can be overwhelming.
