Probably peak Command and Conquer. I still have the first decade CD's around somewhere, but now my PC doesn't have a CD drive so, when it came up for sale for pennies this STEAM summer sale, I just bought it. Red Alert 2 comes close, but this is my favorite of the series. Wish there was an updated version, all I want is the same thing, same formula, same balancing, etc., just updated graphics and an engine update for multi-core support so it runs smooth on the largest maps with a massive number of units. That's it.

I thought I was wrapping up my first Antistasi Campaign yesterday. Turns out I still have one more airbase to conquer. Still, I want to experience a more tailored experience in Antistasi. How about a game where I'm a Polish Resistance Fighter with Soviet Occupiers and GWOT era US Army invaders, all graphically enhanced with mods? Sounds fun, but if it isn't stable it won't be. So, this is a test to see what I can do with the game in the future. Edit: Didn't get the mod to work right for the first Hour and Forty minutes. If you want to skip the troubleshooting and go straight to my new campaign, 1:40 is the timestamp.

Having taken my first airbase, I know the rest of the island won't be easy, but the writing is on the wall. I have enough resources to steamroll my enemies and brute force my way through the rest of the island. There's just a few things I'd like to experiment with to see if it's a thing, and then I'm assaulting base after base to win the hearts and minds of the people of Maldeen.

Time for more Antistasi. I've fooled around with different loadouts in the VR arsenal to get a better idea of what the best loadouts are. EDIT: Fighting CSAT turned out to be much harder than fighting the AAF. I took a sea base, and promptly lost it again. This resulted in a three and a half hour adjustment of expectations as I continually wear them down and exhaust their tremendous supplies. I took the first airbase during the last two and a half hours of the stream. If you're looking for the highlight, might want to skip ahead to the 6 hour mark. If you want the full experience, there's a lot of back and forth going on which is becoming normal for late game ANTISTASI.

This mod is just awesome. When I'm doing learning everything with the Maldeen 2035 Antistasi, I think I'm going to look for a group to play with. Antistasi is already a better game than 90% of the games that came out in the last five years. 10/10.

This is addictive. I feel like I could do this all night long.

I don't feel like grinding Rogue Legacy 2 tonight, so I'm going to work on getting resources for my Antistasi Campaign in ARMA 3.

There you are, doing something time consuming and repetitive that works, when the good idea fairy visits you and suddenly, inspired, you think of a great plan that is definitely a faster, better way of doing things... on paper. In practice, probably not. This is that. Except I'm trying to liberate an island here, and (simulated) lives are on the line. With the fate of my faction and all of Maldeen in my hands alone, will my good ideas translate well when I actually try them out?

I thought I was doing pretty good. This whole thing is a learning process. I'm relatively new to ARMA, and this is teaching me a great deal about controls and how different game modes work. Naturally, since I was doing so well in normal raids and unlocking new and interesting gear, I should be able to take and hold actual ground right?

Learning to use the AI, and struggling to get the loot that is so important in Antistasi. I'm not liberating anything with pistols and flip flops, so I need to focus on looting. Unfortunately, the only way I had found to do that at the time is to brute force my way with lots of AI in tow. It works. It also burns through my factions resources. Not only that, I'm not very good at using the AI. Regardless, I will have victory, even if I have to blunder my whole way to it.

Part 1 I guess. I'm trying to learn the game while having fun. So far, I've been very confused and died a lot, but I'm slowly getting the hang of it. Antistasi has been unforgiving, and I am prone to making mistakes. Regardless, I am dedicated to making progress.

Going to fool around with the different scenarios and difficulty levels. I still consider single player content extended tutorial for Mil-Sims, so I'm not taking this seriously.

Treating the single player campaign as an extended tutorial. It's fun so far, but challenging with my current skill set.
