I do less damage to enemies, and they do more damage to me. There are more of them, and raids are frequent. Death means I lose my inventory, and only what I was wearing on my body is recoverable. Skills degrade faster when dead, so even a single death is a tragedy of wasted time and effort. There are no portals, so careful planning is needed for any trip, anywhere. Welcome, to Hellheim, the server I made with the difficulty turned as high as it will go. Only now is it clear, we played the easy version of the game when we did our first play through. Playing Valheim, shortly after defeating the Queen with Razeo and crew, I started a new server with the difficulty turned up to make things interesting for me. That's harder enemies and more of them, as well as more frequent raids. I kinda abandoned it for a short time, but with impending updates bringing glittering prizes, I felt compelled to return to Valheim. Ashlands is coming soon. In the meantime, I never did grind up a character on maximum difficulty, so here that is. The struggle has been real thus far, and so far I'm going at it solo. I found ARMA 3 to have a steep learning curve, but ARMA Reforger is somewhat easier to get the hang of. Still buggy though. The Regularly playing community is pretty on point.

Dynamic, Team Oriented Soviet Base Defense. Cold War era armaments and tactics. What happens when night falls and there's no NODs? We're right back to spotlights and tracers. Upping the difficulty to normal. Might do hard when I beat it. Might do another game entirely too, haven't decided yet. Looked like yesterdays stream was mostly smooth, but choppy with a weird regularity. I also recorded the game, and there was no chop in the recording, so it must be stream related. Tweaked the settings and hopefully it's good now. This is why losing all my settings in some dumbass streamlabs update is bad, and I am not happy with them.

I thought this would be a short adventure, in and out in less than twenty minutes. I didn't even know that Enshrouded had dungeons this big before this. If I had known, I probably would have waited, as this is the sort of thing that would've been great for co-op.

I'll start with Easy, and up the difficulty tomorrow. Streamlabs updated itself wiping out all of my settings. That's just great, because it forced me to reevaluate my setup and change things for simplicity and stability. Now I'm obliged to make sure it all works. I intend to do a stream for an hour or two every day. This week, I'll test the workflow to make sure it's something I can keep up with. For starters, here's a game I love from my childhood.
