I’m a straight, white Hispanic male in a domestic partnership with an amazing woman. As a follower of Christ, my faith guides my values and approach to commentary. I served over five years in the U.S. Army, with two deployments to Iraq (2005, 2007-2008), experiences that shaped my views on leadership, service, and civic engagement.
