ILN testimony regarding HSB91 pro-life/anti-life omnibus
On 2-1-23 the Iowa House held a subcommittee to pass an omnibus bill that focused on a variety of issues that they believe will help with rural access to healthcare. This bill contained provisions for a variety of topics from making hormonal birth control over the counter without a doctor's visit or prescription, to expanding the MOMS program, to capping noneconomic damages for medical malpractice lawsuits, etc. The public was given 30 minutes to speak on the 12 divisions of the bill with a standing room only crowd.
