I had paint protection film on my 2019 Golf R. They said you can heal scratches(with in reason). I tested it and boy I’m thankful!

Using a Seam Ripper to open up wiring harnesses is a little mechanic hack I learned years ago. Its safer, quicker and you can get seam rippers super cheap. New key prices are crazy. VW has some very expensive keys, but most manufactures have keys that will cost you a lot of money. Keys are so expensive because they have to be programmed to the car as an anti-theft feature. But if you lose or damage a key, replacement is not cheap and a hassle. A quick update on the MK3 GTI VR6t project. The engine is installed in the car. Several parts are mocked up to test for proper fitment. The turbocharger is not installed, but will be to properly clock it. Front end is on for some radiator, condenser, and fan fitment. The engine bay will be tight, but awesome!
