Kitten called for help from a storm drain until a man heard his little voice.
Ever since we rescued Jessie: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7auXT... (A MUST SEE), the sewer cam became an important tool in our toolbox! Today is the first day of the year, and I really hope you will help us save more animals than ever. Every donation sends us to the next rescue mission, so please join us and together we will change so many lives ❤️
We posted many new videos this week here, and I hope it will convince you to join our team: https://www.HopeForPaws.org
I know many of you are too young and don't have the ability to donate, so I would like to ask you to invite your parents to watch our videos with you, and maybe they will be convinced to make a donation.
Thank you Juan Delena for letting Hope For Paws know about Splinter, and thank you Josefina Vasquez for joining us and ensuring the safety of the public while JoAnn Wiltz and I were underground.
To adopt little Splinter, please contact our friends at Room 8 Memorial Foundation: https://www.room8cats.org
Thank you so much!

Baby herons thrown out of their nest one by one 😱😰😱😰
#HopeForPaws received calls, day-after-day as these babies were thrown out of their nest. Loreta and I headed out to rescue them one by one.
Our #wildlife partners at #PacificWildlifeProject took care of the birds, and in a twist of events, the release of a few birds turned out to be extremely dangerous!!! I was really worried I am about to film a deadly situation.
Working with wildlife is hard, time-consuming, and at times sad because as resilient as these animals are, they are also very fragile once they get hurt.
If you can, please join us today with a $5 recurring donation so we can continue saving many more lives: https://www.HopeForPaws.org
Thank you so much!!!

Kittens almost got killed - it took 120 hours to complete this rescue! 🙀
PART 2 of this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ot1O_...
Tomorrow we are celebrating the 13th anniversary of #HopeForPaws ❤️
We LOVE our work and that's why we don't mind working days, nights, weekends, and holidays. The only thing we ask for is your support so we can pay for the medical care needed for these animals.
↘
For our 13th anniversary, I would like to share 13 ways for you to help us save lives and I really hope you can help us with one:
1. Become a Hope For Paws member with a monthly donation here: https://www.HopeForPaws.org (you can also make a one-time donation).
2. Donate here on #YouTubeGiving on our anniversary campaign.
3. Donate CryptoCurrency here: https://www.HopeForPaws.org/Donate_Cr...
4. Add Hope For Paws to your Will that can be created for FREE here: https://www.HopeForPaws.org/FreeWill
5. Make a stock donation: https://www.freewill.com/stocks/HopeF...
6. Send a donation by check/money order. I open the mail personally and I love reading your cards with stories and photos of your pets. I will take a picture of a bunch of cards I just received and post it on our Instagram page: https://www.instagram.com/HopeForPaws...
Our mailing address:
Hope For Paws
8950 W. Olympic Blvd. #525
Los Angeles, CA 90211
7. Donate via Direct Transfer on PayPal: https://www.paypal.com/donate/?hosted...
8. Dedicate a gift and send a birthday card: https://www.HopeForPaws.org/memorial_...
9. Add Hope For Paws to your Amazon Smile: http://smile.amazon.com/ch/26-2869386 (it is just critical to remember to start every engagement with Amazon by typing "Smile.Amazon.com"). We will receive 0.5% of your purchase, so for every $200 you spend, we will receive $1 for the animals. We would need millions of people to sign up for this in order to make a serious impact... let's get this going 😎
10. Watch our videos - we get paid for these views, and the more we have, the more funds we will have for complex surgeries.
11. Share our videos - if every person will introduce just 3 new people who LOVE animals to our channel, we should be able to grow and save many more lives.
12. Start a Facebook campaign for your birthday and ask people to donate to our organization. It is so simple to create and will take less than a minute. Here is how to get it done: https://fb.com/fund/HopeForPawsCalifo...
13. Subscribe to our channel, like our videos, and comment to help us create engagement. This is your way to tell YouTube that you love our channel and they will promote it and help us reach new audiences. You can also download our Hope For Paws APP on the APP Store and on Google Play.
We would LOVE to do even more, but saving a lot more animals means a lot more expensive veterinary bills. I really hope you will join our team so together we can make this place a much better place.
Thank you so much!!!

Epic moment captured with a GoPro - I needed both hands for this rescue 🙌
Fortuna had a broken leg and a broken pelvis, and when you'll see this #EpicMoment it will be hard to understand how she managed to pull herself with just one leg and not fall down! I am so happy I had a feeling I should take a #GoPro with me on this #HopeForPaws rescue!
Please let me know in the comments below if you want me to use the GoPro in more videos. It gives a unique perspective, and I would love your input on that.
Today is a special day because you have the opportunity to be the FIRST to buy a Hope For Paws #NFT here: https://EpicMoment.xyz/HopeForPaws 🚀
I hope you will check out these VIDEO NFTs even if it's just to enjoy these special video clips with never seen before footage of iconic HFP rescues (it's 100% FREE - just click on them so you see the full screen and turn on the volume) ❤️
Fiona's original video never had audio in it - just music. Today, for the first time EVER, you can hear the actual audio that was recorded over 10 years ago on the video that changed Hope For Paws forever!!!
Frankie and Miley met at the hospital after I rescued both of them from terrible situations. It is so cute to see their interaction as they fell in love 💖
I would LOVE to have you join us as a Hope For Paws member here:
https://www.HopeForPaws.org
Fortuna's adoption will be handled by our friends at the Kitty Bungalow: https://www.KittyBungalow.org

We drove 300 miles to save a dog and then got a bonus lucky dog! 🍀Happy St. Patrick's Day!🍀
Whiskey and Gogo were so lucky that Claudia Briseno knew to call #HopeForPaws just a week before St. Patrick's Day! JoAnn Wiltz and I did the long drive to Central California and together we completed the rescue.💚
Whiskey's owner passed away three weeks ago, and unfortunately, she didn't make a plan for her. She assumed her son would take the dog, but he didn't want his mom's dog at all! Whiskey was lucky that Claudia heard about the situation and took her home in order to save her from ending up at the shelter.
It is our responsibility as pet owners to make plans for our pets should anything happens to us. Life is so fragile, an illness or an accident can come out of nowhere, and we need to be prepared for that.
To help prevent a situation where your pet ends up at the shelter, we teamed with #FreeWill to enable YOU to write your own WILL for FREE here: https://www.FreeWill.com/HopeForPaws - This will take less than 20 minutes of your time and will ensure the safety of your pet. ❤️
Many of you asked about buying a Lucky Leash or one of our towels and blankets, and I'm working on opening an online store. I need to know how many I should order initially so this doesn't take much of my time, so if you would like any of these items, please join our waiting list here: https://www.HopeForPaws.org/Lucky_Leash
Whiskey & Gogo are now with our friends at #LAAnimalRescue and they will handle their adoption. If you would like to adopt them, please contact: https://www.LAAnimalRescue.org
Last thing - SUBSCRIBING will bring you Good Luck - Please click here and try it:
https://www.youtube.com/hopeforpaws?s... 🍀
For extra luck, please add Hope For Paws to your #AmazonSmile here: http://smile.amazon.com/ch/26-2869386 🍀
Thank you so much! 💚❤️

Newborn kittens found scattered on a property two days after they were born 🙀
Kitten season is here, and rescues all over the world need your help. Fostering is so much fun, you get to see the babies grow, you get to see them play for the first time, and then you get to see them go to loving forever homes. I am sure every rescue would LOVE to have YOU as a volunteer ❤️
If you can't foster at the moment, please join us as a monthly donor here: https://www.HopeForPaws.org - this will help us continue our work month after month 🥰
If you can't donate, we would love it if you could add Hope For Paws to your Amazon Smile by clicking here: http://smile.amazon.com/ch/26-2869386
One more important item on today's TO DO LIST is to make a plan for your pet should anything unexpected happens. #HopeForPaws teamed up with #FreeWill to enable EVERYBODY to write their own WILL for FREE here: https://www.freewill.com/HopeForPaws
I know it's a scary thing to think about, but dealing with it for 15 minutes now means that you won't leave the future of your pets to chance. I'm sure you would want to KNOW that your pets will be SAFE if you could no longer care for them.
Last and definitely not least - if you would like to adopt Tasha or Dasha, Danny, Daria or Donatella, please contact our friends at CATS At The Studios: https://catsatthestudios.com
Thank you so much!!!

A very young cat gives birth and needs help from humans. 😺🐈🐈🐈
Every day we are called to rescue kittens and if we didn't spay and neuter thousands of cats every year, it would have been so much worse!!!
We really appreciate your support and donations that help us prevent the suffering and death of so many kittens ❤️❤️❤️
If you can, I would LOVE for you to join us as a member with a $5 monthly donation. It will take two minutes to set up, and it will help us save many more dogs and cats: https://www.HopeForPaws.org
JoAnn Wiltz responded to this call on the #HopeForPaws line and headed out to save this family. There is a huge colony in the area, and we're working on getting all the feral cats there spayed/neutered and released.
Miya is fostered by our video editor Justin (he named the mama after his favorite Sushi restaurant) along with her babies: Soy Sauce, Bean, and Sprout. They are now all looking for their loving forever homes. Many times kittens get adopted quickly and it takes longer to adopt the moms, and I hope you will share this video so it doesn't happen - she is really sweet and special.
If you would like to adopt them, please contact our friends at Room 8: https://www.Room8Cats.org
Thank you so much!

The smartest kitten in the world crawled into a brand new Jaguar! 🐆
It is quite incredible how a kitten who was born just a few weeks ago can be so smart! When we got the text about him on the #HopeForPaws line, Loreta Frankoynte and I headed out, and with the amazing team at Galpin Jaguar, we were able to save this little guy.
It is so cool to see how #Jaguar who was never handled by a human and gave us a hard time rescuing him, made a total switch once we had him (even though I had to pull him by the tail) and became such a loving kitten.
I really hope you will watch until the end to see how cute he is with me ❤️
If you would like to adopt him, please contact our friends at #Room8: https://www.room8cats.org
If you have a full house and can't adopt another cat, please join us today with a small donation and help us save more lives. It is kitten season, and my whole team is now out on rescues. Caring for them takes time, we want to share happy endings, but so many of the babies are so small and we're waiting for them to grow so we can share cute videos. If you can, please sign up today for a $5 recurring donation here: https://www.HopeForPaws.org
Thank you so much for your support and thank you so much #GalpinJaguar in Van Nuys, California for your willingness to do whatever it takes to save a life!!!

Three Rottweilers abandoned without food and left to die 😓😓😓
Walking into an abandoned property with three #Rottweilers is like walking into the coliseum because you just don't know what to expect, but the warrior of #HopeForPaws - JoAnn Wiltz and Alex Babcock were fearless and did just that! Armed with cheeseburgers, they walked into the arena and lived to tell the story ⚔️🛡️
This is the first video for 2022 and many more will follow. I hope you will join our army with a New Year's Resolution of becoming a Hope For Paws supporter here: https://www.HopeForPaws.org
For just $5 a month, you can fight with us, and together we will be victorious every day 💪🐶💪😺

Even a sick cat can give a fight - always use caution to avoid a painful bite 🛑
It doesn't matter how much experience you have - a bite is always painful and I always ask my team to do whatever they need to do to avoid it as it can affect their ability to go on the next rescue.
JoAnn Wiltz and Alex Babcock headed out to rescue Kyle, and I am really happy they didn't get injured after he got away three times! Luckily, Alex managed to get him as he was making a run for it 😎👍
Kyle suffered from Plasma Cell Pododermatitis ("Pillow foot"), and he is now feeling much better.
It is kitten season out there, and it's raining kittens over here. We just had to buy so much kitten formula, hospitalize a few sick kittens, and this will keep happening for the next two months (at least)!
If you can, we would LOVE IT if you could join us with a $5 monthly donation to help us save many more lives. We are going to be a much stronger organization if we can find 20 people to donate $5 each than if we find one person to donate $100: https://www.HopeForPaws.org ❤️
If you would like to adopt Kyle, please contact our friends at The Kitty Bungalow: https://www.KittyBungalow.org

Rescue begins on the freeway, the police joined in, and also an unexpected volunteer! The end is 💝😻💖
Just when I thought my work day was over (after 10 PM), Nelly Barajas called me about an adult cat on the 91 Freeway! She pulled over, and the smart cat knew to run under her car, and then climbed up and disappeared!
This is an extremely dangerous situation because the freeway is very dark, and attempting a rescue when people are flying by at top speeds can result in serious injuries or more likely - death!
As I was heading towards Nelly's location, she told me the cat was NOT in her engine, but somewhere in the back area of her car. I had to make a very difficult decision and I asked Nelly to call the police and ask them to escort her safely off the freeway.
I instructed her to drive at 2 mph and this will give the cat a chance to survive in case she falls or decides to jump off! I knew this could be deadly for the cat, but it was just too dangerous to this rescue on the freeway.
I knew that Nelly would have to continue on the 91 freeway for almost 3 miles, then merge to the 605 freeway, drive another mile, and only then she will have an exit where we could work safely. I can't even imagine how scary this must have been to the terrified cat.
I arrived just 30 seconds after they exited the freeway and thanked the @California Highway Patrol for helping Nelly and the cat exit the freeway safely. A minute later, a young man with a camera approached us and asked "Are you from Hope For Paws?". I said, "Yes" (I was so confused). I asked Nelly "Did you call the news???". She said "No!". It turned out that while the drama was happening on the freeway, Nathaniel Holguin from@RMG Newswas listening in to the police radio, and because he loves cats, he decided to join us and offered to help. The first clip on their channel will show you how dangerous it is to top on the freeway: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Osk8J...
I could tell that Lizzie had her ear tipped which means she was spayed in the past and released, so I knew there is a great chance she was a feral cat and that I could get seriously injured there.
The rest of the story is in this video and the ending is so sweet and so perfect for Valentine's Day 💝💝💝
I am happy to do all these crazy rescues even though I know those could be extremely dangerous. I can't imagine life without doing this work, and I would LOVE IT if you would join us and become a monthly donor of $5 here: https://www.HopeForPaws.org/DonationR...
With the rising cost of everything (including veterinary care), I need extra help, and I would love to have more people join our team 🙏
How cool it would be to write on your Valentine Card "I made a donation to Hope For Paws in your honor because I know you love animals 💝"
It will take just a minute and will help us save animals all year: https://www.HopeForPaws.org

Two dogs abandoned, one taken to a shelter and one was left behind.
Marianne was abandoned with her friend. Animal Control managed to capture the friend and take him to the shelter. The first thing I asked JoAnn Wiltz to do is to locate that dog so we can reunite them, but since the public has a higher priority than rescues at the shelter, a private party was able to adopt the dog, and unfortunately (due to their privacy policy), they wouldn't share the adopter's contact information.
Meanwhile, #HopeForPaws contacted #LAAnimalRescue to see if they have an available foster home, and they did!

His leg was NOT normal, but the reason was surprising - I have never seen that before!
Here at #HopeForPaws we see THOUSANDS of medical cases every year and just when I thought I have seen everything, an email about Smitty came in and surprised me! JoAnn got him to the hospital and revealed a medical case that I have never seen before!
I am sure you may have some more questions, and I'll be more than happy to answer those in the comments below. If you haven't done so yet and if you can, I would LOVE IT if you could help us with a $5 recurring donation so we can continuously do this work day after day, month after month, year after year: https://www.HopeForPaws.org
I will post his X-rays on the community tab here and I hope you will all subscribe because I will share more and more medical stuff there for those of you who are interested: https://www.youtube.com/c/hopeforpaws...

4 dogs, 30 parakeets and 10,000 ticks - it's just terrible what some people do 😓
I don't even know what to say anymore... this stuff is just NOT OK! These animals depended on and trusted their owner, and they were treated like garbage.
Having so many ticks on can easily kill a dog! If you missed Dennis' video on the #HopeForPaws channel, please watch it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LX0lz...

Pregnant homeless Pit Bull goes into labor FAST! Happy Mother's Day!!! ❤️❤️❤️
Being a mother is tough, and I can't imagine doing it alone, on the streets, in a dirty place! Because you share our videos, someone knew to call #HopeForPaws for help!
Hello everybody, it's Eldad, the founder of Hope For Paws. Before telling you about Waffles and her babies, I wanted to share my concerns with you as those keep me awake at night (it's after midnight and I still have work to do). As the world is still struggling with the pandemic, times are tough here too. Veterinary care is extremely expensive, and with AT LEAST 10 complex surgeries every week, and with dozens of hospitalized animals that we help every week, we have been paying bills at a faster rate than we're raising funds.
In general, it's hard for me to ask for help... all my life I found myself having to figure things out by myself, but we're in a tough spot and I am nervous writing these lines because I know we have many more animals that will need our help in the coming weeks, months and years.
The good news is that our power is in numbers - we're a huge community here on #YouTube, so I am not asking for large donations, but instead, I am asking for NY of you to help us with small recurring donations. Recurring donations enable me to know every month how much funds we have available, and that determines how much we can do. We LOVE our work, we would LOVE to do even more, and we can only do it with your support: https://www.HopeForPaws.org
It's critical for me that you understand that our average donation is $12. Think about it... all the Hope For Paws videos you watched, all the surgeries performed, all the lives you have seen transformed, all the happy wags and meows - all of this is happening from your $12 donations!
I can't imagine my life not being able to do this work, and I really hope you can join us today with just a $5 donation (16 cents a day). I promise to work harder and post more videos so you'll see your donation in action 😎👍
The math is actually cool now that I am thinking about it.
$5 a month is 16 cents a day (a dime + a nickel + a penny).
$12 a month is 40 cents a day (a quarter + a dime + a nickel).
OK, back to this story 😊
I just need to warn you... this video is not for everybody and kids (maybe some adults) should watch it with their parents, so please go ahead and call your mom to sit and watch this one with you. I have seen this miracle happen so many times since I was a young kid, and even now, decades later, I am still amazed at this beauty created by nature.
JoAnn Wiltz and Katie McKittrick handled the whole situation beautifully, and I am so happy to share this video with you - the timing with Mother's Day couldn't be more perfect ❤️
We created a special Mother's Day card here that you can send to every mother you know and love - remember, your sister who adopted a kitten is also a mom, your aunt, your friend who has kids (humans or canines), your teacher, and even I feel like a mom to so many animals: https://www.HopeForPaws.org/Mothers_D...
When you share our videos, you are helping us so much so please help us spread the word, and PLEASE let me know if this is an OK video for you to watch and if you would like to see more like these.
To apply to adopt Waffles and her puppies, please contact our friends at: http://www.AngelCityPits.org
Thank you so much!

Dog rescue on the California, Arizona and Nevada border - stressful, but successful! ❤️👍
This rescue was a tough one - the two dogs, Phryne and Essie were abandoned in the desert, and they never had much human contact. Luckily for them, Zach and Katherine who adopted Arya from this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XpEK9... spotted them and established a relationship with them over many weeks. The dogs didn't really have much of a choice... they became completely dependent on them for food, and yet, they always kept their distance and wouldn't allow them to touch them.
This rescue may seem harsh to some, but it's important to understand that the alternative was to live life alone in the desert, exposed to the elements, hunger, predators, disease, and for us, that's not OK - they deserved better!
Some people may ask "why wouldn't you just use a trap which is less stressful?". There are a few answers to this. The first one will require you to imagine a situation where one dog walks into the trap, then sees the other one trapped, and then disappears forever! This is a terrible outcome and definitely not a desirable one.
Another question may be "why not set a trap once you had them enclosed?". There are a few reasons for that. Imagine a situation where both dogs walked into the same trap together (it did happen to me before). The initial stressful experience may have caused them to attack each other... you will see it almost happening when we try to bring them closer... aggressive redirection is a serious risk.
Also, imagine a situation where one gets trapped, the other one freaks out, and manages to get away from the property (like a worker showing up, not knowing what's happening, and opening the gate - enabling the dog to escape). Another option is for the dog to jump or dig her way out... there are too many unpredictable factors here and I had to figure out how to do it so we will have both dogs.
Katie and JoAnn did an amazing job during this extremely stressful situation... I really couldn't have asked for a better team by my side - these are situations you can't train for... every moment is unpredictable. I don't know too many rescues out there who would drive 600 miles to save two dogs out in the desert, get them to the hospital, and then get them to an amazing foster home. I am so happy it was done so well and without anyone taking a bite :-)
Of course, we couldn't have accomplished this rescue without Zach and Katherine... they helped us execute the mission perfectly and I am so happy it all worked out.
If you can, please support our work with a small donation so we can continue saving lives. This is not an easy job, it can definitely be dangerous, and we definitely can't do it without you! Please visit our #HopeForPaws website and take 3 minutes to help us help more animals: https://www.HopeForPaws.org
Our friends at L.A. Animal Rescue have been working with Essie and Phryne and they made incredible progress! The dogs are happy to be together, they love running and playing in the snow and inside their foster home!

If you can't adopt them, please LIKE this video so it will help us reach more people... this is the best way to help us get to their adopting family.

Owner wanted to shoot Plácido after he was attacked - A neighbor knew to call Hope For Paws!
I was pretty stunned when the owner told me over the phone he is going to "shoot the pig so he wouldn't suffer". From the picture, I could tell he was not dying and that he can definitely heal. Loreta Frankonyte and I drove out to the desert, met with Martina (who knew to call us for help). Working together and with a great tip from our friends at #LAAnimalRescue we accomplished the first #HopeForPaws pig rescue ❤️
We are about to celebrate our 13th Anniversary for Hope For Paws and I hope many more of you will be able join us as members in celebration of so many rescues: https://www.HopeForPaws.org
After the rescue, we drove to L.A. Animal Rescue who offered to foster him and follow through with his medical care. Plácido did lose most of his left ear, but if you'll watch until the end, you'll learn exactly how to give pigs belly rubs that they LOVE!
If you would like to adopt Plácido or Hank, if you would like to adopt a chicken or a duck, please contact our friends at: https://www.LAAnimalRescue.org
Thank you so much for your support!!!

All I can say about what happened to Tator Tot is 🤬🤬🤬
If it wasn't for our amazing supporters, we couldn't have changed his life from a terrible fate. Thank you so much for donating and helping us change lives every day: https://www.HopeForPaws.org
Our JoAnn Wiltz here at #HopeForPaws handled this rescue beautifully and followed him through his recovery. It is really amazing to see him now and with your help, we can find him a home! Please like, share, comment, and help us get the word out.

We want to make sure your pets are always protected and safe should something terrible happens to you. If you haven't done so yet, please create your own WILL today and we will help you to do it for FREE: https://www.hopeforpaws.org/who_will_...
We get too many calls about people who passed away and no plans were made for their pets. I would never want your pet to find itself in a terrible situation.
Thanks!

Their mom was gone and without help, they would have died 😿😿😿😿
Today we are celebrating our 13th anniversary of Hope For Paws!!! ✨❤️✨
This video is PART 2 that will answer a BIG QUESTION from PART 1, so if you missed it, please watch it first here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3NhQW...
For our 13th anniversary, I would like to share 13 ways for you to help us save lives and I really hope you can help us with one:
1. Become a #HopeForPaws member with a monthly donation here: https://www.HopeForPaws.org (you can also make a one-time donation).
2. Donate here on #YouTubeGiving on our anniversary campaign.
3. Donate CryptoCurrency here: https://www.HopeForPaws.org/Donate_Crpto

Left behind by his owner - scared and confused 😞
I will never know what happened to Klaus' owner, but if we learned anything in the past year, it is that life is so fragile and things can change in an instant.
Every month, we are asked to help pets find loving forever homes after their owners passed away unexpectedly and no instructions were left for the care of their pets. Many of these pets end up in shelters or just thrown out to the streets... they are scared, confused, and can't believe how their world turned upside down because their owner didn't come home.
In order to prevent sad cases like this, #HopeForPaws partnered with #FreeWill to help you take care of your pets, loved ones, and your favorite charities.
Please click here to create your own Will for FREE: https://www.FreeWill.com/HopeForPaws
I know this can be a scary thing to think about, but dealing with it for 20 minutes now will give you peace of mind that your dog will not end up like Klaus.
In just 2 days we will celebrate Hope For Paws' 13th anniversary, and I really hope all of you will do this for your pets - that would be the best gift!
If you would like to adopt Klaus and give him an amazing home, please contact our friends at #LAAnimalRescue - they will handle his adoption: https://www.LAAR.org
Thank you so much! ❤️
