Thing got the game about as tuned as it's going to get now, untill patches and new drivers come out. Settings used - 3440x1440p native - Max settings with DLAA, & Full Ray tracing, no dynamic scaling.

This is about 4th race into the campaign, went with the Mini. Setting are maximum, with only ray tracing set to automatic, 3440x1440p. DLSS is Off so native resolution, all LOD scaling is disabled. Game is currently in early access, but goes live for all on game-pass 5 days from today. Please not there is quite a lot not optimised with the rendering at the minute, took me a while to figure best way to get it decent and playable.

left a performance overlay on, thats pretty much sitting around 65% usage on the GPU, so isnt really pushing it hard to ht the framerates.

RTX 4090 @3440x1440p using maximum settings & the new Ray Tracing path tracing mode. As you'd expect these new extreme presets need a lot of horsepower, but do take the quality of ray tracing to the next level, so gameplay is ranging between 80 and 130 depending on where you are and time of day etc. DLSS 3.5 using Quality mode and Frame Generation. As for the patch update 2.0, it's definately made the game mechanics better and the Police much harder once the borg cops turn up :p

Free 5 hour trial is out, gave a bash and actually impressed me. Gone is the cardbox weight cars with no physics.... they now have heavy weight and physics for slides etc.... actually very good, like the old Driver games used to be. Graphics is hard locked to 60fps which is major downside on PC, but it does look very nice, and using Vulkan API was a surprise. I think this might push Forza Horizon off the podium if all the other activities work this well.... and thats saying something cos I really hated Crew 1 and Crew 2 car handling.

One of the older racing games but still one of the classics to test, max settings @3440x1440p, no upscaling etc. Used a race replay with auto camera switching so can see performance in different viewpoints.

Tested this on 3440x1440p (no upscalers as old game) using max settings and 8xMSAA... added a little extra colour and slight sharpening via Nvidia filters, captured with OBS in Nvidia Av1 codec, also Intels PresentMon performance overlay.

Just a reminder that Geforce experience can add a lot of filtering, colour corrections, and enhancers to any game, simply use Alt-F3 to bring up the menu and add filters and adjust as you like, does wonders.
