Reloading shotshells
Wow, 10,000 subscribers. Many thanks to those that have hung around, and appreciative to those that don't recall why they ever clicked on the subscribe button to begin with. I understand youtube is about to force ads on all videos, just know they aren't from me., I don't make anything off the channel, it's just for fun.
Apologies again for the long intro, I enjoy doing those as much as the rest of the video, so I'm kinda stuck with them. Go to 1:10 to skip.
I may do another one where I actually use the press for dropping the powder and the shot, but it's better to actually SEE the steps, instead of a guy just moving a slider, I think?

Scouting locations for a new Shootin' Shack
Just a wandering around the new property, seeing if I can find a nice, quite, safe space(ha!) to build a small shooting cabin. I want to be able to use a MOUNTAIN as a backstop, and I think I can make that happen.

A day in the life...
Just a glimpse into the daily routine. Life is indeed what you make it.
Home shop/studio is almost done, so I should be able to get some content soon. I know I say that all the time, but this time, well who knows right? Life has slooooowed way down, and the idea of deadlines starts to get blurred, but I also enjoy doing them, so we'll just have to see if my action lives up to my intention.

Move completed.
I packed up the family and left the poisoned atmosphere of a "progressive" big city, and moved quite literally to the middle of the woods. It didn't take long from being removed froim the noise, confusion, fear and stupidity of the city to be able to see just how much people are being manipulated.

Norinco T97 - A look inside.
I figured many of my American brothers and sisters don't get to see these very often, if at all, and since it was due for a cleaning, I figured to might enjoy a peek inside one of them.
This gun doesn't leave the vault very often. It's not much fun to shoot, the controls are awkward, and it's not overly accurate, even with a fairly good optic.
Disclaimer: This is not a tutorial. If you're not comfortable or capable of doing these things yourself, PLEASE refer to a qualified gunsmith, those guys are worth their weight in gold sometimes, and I will never recommend you don't refer to one on any firearm work. This video is for entertainment purposes only (at least I hope it's entertaining, I liked making it!) :)

Rossi Triple Black 357 Magnum. Full Teardown and rebuild. HD
Tearing down my new companion and ATV gun, something I want to have with me when walking the trails in the mountains. Bear and mountain-lion attacks are rare, but not unheard of, and I think I look very delicious.
The quality on this wasn't terrible, but it wasn't exceptional either, it was "good enough for government work". After some cleaning, buffing, filing, and putting a few hundred rounds though it, it really started to feel good.
This is not a tutorial however, if you're not comfortable or capable of doing these things yourself, PLEASE refer to a qualified gunsmith, those guys are worth their weight in gold sometimes, and I will never recommend you don't refer to one on any firearm work. Reloading .357 Magnum on a Hornady progressive.
So I went to the cupboard, but the cupboard was bare. I needed 357, and not a moment to spare!
Off to the bench I ran like a loon, all the time thinking "I'm such a maroon!"
I grabbed my powder, my bullets, my primers and my brass
Things like this aren't meant to happen..I'm such a jack-ass.
Now 1 hour later and all is well, the cartridges are made, and I'm feeling swell!
So avoid my distress,
and keep your stock up
because if you don't,
you'll be a silly person!
Enjoy!

Reloading 223 Remington Start to Finish.
I finally got around to re-doing this video. I shoot a LOT of .223 so am always reloading it, figured this was a good time to record the process with a bit more clarity than my 2014 video.
I did not cover primer pocket reaming/swaging, I plan to cover that in an upcoming video.

Smith and Wesson 'Highway Patrolman': A look inside HD.
Complete teardown and de-leading of a 28-2 Smith and Wesson "highway patrolman" in 357 Magnum. I think these are some of the finest looking pistols in the world, and glad to find one in the classic style.
This one was heavily leaded, to the point the old owner thought it needed a new barrel, and he had no interest in putting in the elbow grease to clean it up, so he stated a price, and I took him up on it.
Note that this is not a tutorial, BUT I am happy to answer questions about the content! As always, this is for entertainment purposes only, take your gun to a qualified gunsmith if you aren't comfortable doing things yourself (gunsmiths are worth their weight in gold some days!!)

Bushmaster ACR - Complete Disassembly and Reassembly
Just another one of my cleaning days, I like to take all of my firearms apart completely when they have had enough rounds through them, and today is the ACR's turn. Complete disassembly and reassembly, everything except the buttstock is stripped to the rivets.
I've upgraded with with a match grade barrel, and I have to admit, I'm REALLY fond of this rifle. Shoots like a tack driver and has never once given me the slightest bit of problem. Controls are well thought out...I know a lot of the controversy around the MASADA/MAGPUL/ACR platform, but honestly, it's too bad it didn't become more of a success.

Asus GL703GE laptop Fan removal and cleaning.
Laptop kept shutting down, time for a little maintenance on the cooling system. Full disassembly and reassembly. Hopefully this helps someone, these are great computers, but the colling system is very restricted, and if dusty, doesn't work at all. If you want to ask about doing this on a different model, they're all slightly different, I won't have much info.
These laptops are still sold as of this publishing, Intel i7 processor, nVidia GPU, 16GB DDR4. Great little rig.

Bolt action AR-15?
An innovative company has started to produce a bolt action sporting rifle, which will accommodate some of the parts from our newly confiscated sport-style AR-15s (Canada). Learn the lessons that we didn't.
Maple Ridge Armoury bolt action sporting rifle, full build.
