Hermit Crabs Eat Mango Tree Leaves? Proof!
Hermit crabs eat some crazy things in the wild, they ARE scavengers! And they LOVE mango (fruit). But do they really eat mango tree leaves? Yes they do, we have proof!
What's most important to remember about hermit crabs is that they crave a WIDE VARIETY of foods. So whatever they love today, they'll get bored of and won't want tomorrow. If you're looking for new foods to give your hermit crab pets, try putting a couple of mango leaves in their habitat! If they don't eat it, they'll probably love crawling over, under and all over them (that's what they do in the wild).

Hermit Crabs as Pets Need to CLIMB UP!
Hermit crabs as pets need to climb UP! It's important to have elements in their habitat like driftwood, ladders, platforms and/or levels.
Hermit crabs are natural climbers in the wild, most especially Purple Pinchers (most common type of hermit crab pet). They can be found in trees and bushes, and climbing on rocks and cliffs! Hermit crab pet habitats that are too small won't provide the stimulation and activity they need including being able to climb UP!
