Silhouettes of birds over the sunset
Silhouettes can be bold, striking, stunning images with intense color, and that dramatic feel to them can enhance your image collection and evoke feelings and emotions from your viewer.
Creating silhouettes is the opposite of what you normally do in bird photography. Instead of pointing your shadow towards the birds with the light behind you, you put the light in front of you, and the bird between you and the light. This means your shadow is actually pointing away, 180-degrees away from the bird.
With silhouettes, you want to make sure you have a clean background, free of any clutter or distracting elements. For bird photographers, we’re most likely shooting up into the sky, so the background will be open and clean. Also, start out with very distinct shapes, or move around to get the best point of view, so the images are clear and distinct.
To get lots of color behind the bird, take your silhouettes during golden hour and up to half an hour after sunset, or half an hour before sunrise. Shooting early or late in the day adds color, so try for the bold colors of early morning or later evening.

School Of Fish In The Deep Blue Sea
The ocean’s aquamarines and seafoam greens are shifting as climate change warms the planet. A study published Monday in Nature Communications predicts that the colors of the world’s oceans will intensify by the end of this century as changes in phytoplankton patterns alter light reflection.
Water molecules absorb all visible light except for those at blue wavelengths, making the ocean appear blue. When phytoplankton float near the surface, they change how incoming light reflects. Typically, the greener the ocean water, the more phytoplankton occur there. Satellites can differentiate subtle changes in hues from hundreds of kilometers away.
Previous research has suggested that warming waters will alter phytoplankton distribution in the ocean, but pinpointing this trend in the data can be difficult because commonly used metrics fluctuate due to other factors like El Niño and La Niña. The latest study models ocean color using a metric that better resolves long-term trends.
The results reveal that the color of 50% of the ocean will change by 2100 due to the shuffling of phytoplankton communities. Blue regions in the subtropics will grow bluer as fewer phytoplankton are able to survive in its waters. Green regions at the poles will turn greener as warming waters become more habitable for them. The color change won’t be discernible to the human eye, the researchers write in the study, but satellites will be able to see an “unambiguous signal.”
Models that include light reflectance as well as the complex physical, biogeochemical, and ecological processes in the ocean are rare. This study is the first to consider the impact of climate change on ocean color.

Aerial Footage Of A Village Built In A Valley Between Mountains
Abstract. Ganyantou village is located in the southern part of the Hunan Province in China. The village is located between the Jingshui river and the Xianshui river, not casually, Ganyantou means “village positioned between two rivers”. The Black Gate House, the studied site, is one of the six ancient rural residential complexes of the village. It was built in 1638, during the Ming Dynasty (1368-
1644), and belonged to the Zhou family. In the last decades, the Hunan Province Administration has been facing the decline of the cities’ quality of life, being overcrowding-related problems one of the main social issues in big cities. As an attempt to solve the problem the Administration in collaboration with Hunan University is trying to encourage rural village residents to remain in the countryside by building new villages – with appealing urban standards – or in the best cases, by restoring the existing buildings. The aim of the research was also to investigate the site regarding its materials, its construction techniques, and, above all, the problems and causes of its deterioration and its structural instability, resulting in conservation and reuse draft project afterwards. The specificity of the survey was its limited use of technology, in order to give students a replicable methodology for any similar case study. The geometric, material, and deterioration survey, in fact, was carried out in a simple and traditional way, with precise and scientifically correct techniques. Students were able to learn a fast and low-cost, yet correct methodology concerning direct data acquisition, an essential phase prior to the conservation and reuse project proposal.

Beautiful Sea View of Monterosso al Mare Beach
This is the largest of the Cinque Terre villages.
It is set between Punta Mesco and Punta Manara on the rocky cliffs from which you can look down into the depths of the sea. Moving around in Monterosso is very easy because
the terrain is flat and the area is split up differently from the other villages.
It is divided into the residential area of Fegina,
the modern center with restaurants and cafes, and the historical part with many medieval buildings.
Tourists are not attracted to Monterosso al Mare for its monuments,
but rather for the beautiful panoramas and everything the village has to offer.
It is indeed a paradise for people who dream of a vacation in the heart of Italy in a lovely hotel with all comforts,
and nightclubs, and restaurants where they can spend the evenings.
The other villages of the Cinque Terre, though, are more peaceful.
Monterosso al Mare is also suited to those who enjoy a vacation by the beach;
because there are many beaches here and they are the only sand beaches in this area.

Pets Sleeping Underneath The Bed Sheet ( 2021 )
Pets Sleeping Underneath The Bed Sheet ( 2021 )
Rabbits tend to be light sleepers. Instead of getting one long resting period, they will take many mini naps throughout the day and night. Sometimes these naps will be only a couple of minutes long here and there. But pet rabbits that feel safe in their home environments are also known to sleep for longer periods of time.
