Jason A Brooks is owner, lyricist, composer, publisher, DAW operator {Presonus Studio 1+}, video producer and janitor for HORSE CACTUS MUSIC, a home recording studio in Cape Girardeau, MO. His catalog lists over ninety songs.

Former member of The Songwriter's Guild and NSAI in Nashville, Jason comes from a long line of respected singer-songwriters. His brother Ed Brooks worked with Warner Bros/LA, while his nephew Cody Brooks is currently signed with Sony/Pasadena Records/Nashville. Jason's dad started it all back when Buck Owens was just another member of the Elmer Brooks Band in 1950s Mesa, Arizona.
