The Drip Café Stands Firm and Glorifies God Amidst Attack
In this episode of The Shine Brightly Podcast, Heather talks with Jamie Sanchez, the owner of The Drip Café in Denver, CO. Jamie shares how his café, part of the "Project Revive" initiative to support the homeless, has faced relentless attacks from a group opposed to its Christian values. Despite the vandalism and harassment, Jamie stays committed to his mission, drawing strength from his faith in God.
“A message from Jamie Sanchez. ‘I am calling on the Body of Christ to support us during this time of attack by this anti-Christian group. For over 10 years, my team and I have been serving the homleless community in Denver out of the love we have felt from Christ. The Drip Cafe is meant to be a huge blessing for those struggling with homelessness. The communist group says they won't stop until we close. I am saying I will never back down from the Holy Scriptures of God our Creator’.”

Woman II Woman: Advocating for Incarcerated Women
In this episode of The Shine Brightly Podcast, Heather speaks with Amie Ichikawa, the executive director of Woman II Woman. Amie founded this nonprofit to support incarcerated women who face harassment, assault, medical abuse, and neglect, often living in fear of retaliation if they stand up for their rights.
“We need your help to continue to advocate for them. We need help covering the costs of traveling to attend hearings, postage for mail outs and newsletters, taking days to drive to courthouses to file paperwork for resentencing petitions, filing writs, speaking at en banc hearings, spending hours on the phone fact checking, and finding and hiring defense teams for our sisters with the most severe cases. In those situations, we need to be able to support them by connecting them with the best possible legal representation we can find.”

He Was Told He Couldn’t Go Home for the Birth of His Child?!

Brandon details the intense scrutiny and challenges he and his family have endured in protecting his 20-year military career. Brandon has faced relentless punishment, including being denied a promotion he was selected for two years ago.
“We will fight! A federal lawsuit, in a courtroom where we will be on a more even playing field with the individuals that have perpetrated these offenses is the next step. I want to highlight that this fight is not only for our family but for all the families that were hurt and abused during the mandates. Whistleblower Surgeon Dr. Eithan Haim Raises Funds for Legal Defense on GiveSendGo
In this episode of The Shine Brightly Podcast, GiveSendGo Co-founder Heather Wilson sits down with Eithan Haim, a 33-year-old general surgeon and whistleblower, about his fundraising campaign.
Eithan shares his story of exposing misconduct at Texas Children's Hospital regarding their transgender program, which led to legislative changes in Texas. Despite facing legal challenges and personal attacks, Eithan remains committed to fighting for transparency and accountability in the medical field.
“I knew that speaking out would necessarily put myself and my family at great risk, but after experiencing the extent of the corruption first-hand, it became clear that silence would never be an option. We paid (and are paying) an enormous price. We spent the entirety of our retirement, investments, savings, and almost all of our disposable income to pay the legal bills to keep the case alive….I do not bring this up to cast myself as the victim or grift for sympathy - because at the end of the day self-pity does nothing for you. We see this as the exact opposite - a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to stand up for what is right and against those who abuse their authority to silence those who speak the truth. In this way the costs are miniscule. Whatever we have paid - whether financial, emotional, or career-wise - has been well worth it.”
