Camaro Club Of Idaho Cruise To Flaming Acres
Seven of the club members met to drive to the Flaming Acres Car show.
It's neat to see a string of camaros lined up on the road.
People noticed.

Columbia River Gorge - Westbound
The heck with YouTube and copyright infringement! I like tunes but lose the signal from SiriusXM when I'm among the rocks.
I am just running with the cruise control set on the posted speed limit which to Oregon drivers is apparently optional and Washington drivers think it is just a suggestion.

I probably won't edit this video very much. I spent hours on the first half and didn't save that many minutes.

Camaro Club Of Idaho Stanley Cruise Eagle to Garden Valley
Mostly unedited video. I will be clipping it to primarily show the entire group stretched out ahead of me. The wide angle lens makes anything more than a couple car lengths ahead pretty small. There were only 5 Camaros total, more is always better.

Workout #12, Kenda Trakmaster and Tubliss
Kenda 6 -ply Trakmaster tires front and rear with TUbliss system installed, running 10 PSI rear and 8 PSI front. Right off, I noticed the bike felt more stable, I felt more secure, more confident. Only time will tell what kind of wear I get from these tires but the 6-ply construction is an important element for running in these rocks and the soft compound gets a good grip in the rocks and the hardpack 2-tracks.
I didn't get a good reading from my computer but my time was equal or better than my best over this route.

Portions Of A 20 Hour Road Trip
Running with the cruise control set on the posted speed limit with non-ethanol premium fuel, I got 30.9 mpg from 30 miles inside Idaho to Portland, OR. On the return trip, I got 31.9 mpg from Aberdeen, WA to Pendleton, OR but then Cabbage Hill happened.
Have you ever had a millenial with his hair in a bun and a big ego driving a Yugo try to get enough speed up to pass you on the interstate?

Birthday Party At 8x
A couple guys got together and threw a birthday party for a friend. Should I say how old? A great get-to-gether with a bunch of motorcycle and hot rod enthusiasts. It was well worth a 20 hour round trip.

I Needed This Ride
It has been more than 2 months since I've been out on 2 wheels. The ride would have been longer if it weren't for minor mechanical issues. It will take some physical work to change two 6-ply tires. One little mechanical task and it is time for an oi/filter change.

Flint Buddy's Rattlesnake Ridge Adventure
You might think that going for a couple hour ride in a UTV over a desert 2-track isn't exercise but you aren't a dog trying to stay glued in a UTV bouncing over a rough trail.
We were back home by 10:45 AM but Flint Buddy immediately kicked back and conked out.

Just putting miles on it. I probably haven't burned a half tank of High Octane Fuel yet.
Youtube muted all sound at about 14:30, again at 30:56 and again at 45:28 because of copyright claims.

Rrrumble's First Cruise
Just the trip home from the dealership and a couple spins around the neighborhood.I ran it in "Tour" mode because I figured that would be most economical and drove like an old lady except for passing a truck at 25:50. I think I broke traction at 55 to 60 MPH because it fishtailed a bit as I passed the truck. I didn't look in the mirrors but I can imagine smoke boiling out from the fender wells. It's going to be a fun driver.

Let's Ride
A 6% gain is much more than just having a good day. Trail conditions are also deteriorating as it becomes more silty. All I can attribute the gain to is better traction with the Tubliss® system and Kenda Trakmaster® K760 6-ply tires front and rear. I had run 10 PSI Rear and 8 PSI front and felt the front was much more stable. Before this ride, I dropped the rear to 8 PSI and possibly caused the front to push a bit but not bad. I discovered that the rear was really hooking up. When I gave it some throttle over a slab of rock, it nearly jumped out from under me. I am feeling more secure, more confident and was soon having so much fun that I forgot I was on the clock.

Posey's Rock
John Posey and I had been out in a UTV and spotted a rider on top of this rock. I hadn't been aware of a route to the top of the rock and checking Google Maps, I could clearly see a new trail cut over from a salt lick.I went out to the top of the rock, backtracked and rode down to check the water level at lower Succor Creek, took the 2-track on the West side of Graveyard Rim to Strode's Basin and rode through Lower Sage Creek Crossing to a rise where I could see Posey's Rock and back home after a high speed run down one of my favorite 2-tracks.
Someone needs to blow those beaver dams at Lower Succor Creek.
