Bubba is a mixed breed from Mexico! You may look at his cute face and wonder, what is he a mix of? Well you're in luck because Bubba was fortunate enough to get a doggy DNA test done! The results showed that he is part Mastiff and part Black Mouth Curr. Bubba enjoys a combination of Kabo’s fresh and kibble options. His favourites are the Tender Chicken Recipe and the Fresh Chicken Kibble. Besides being large and in charge, Mastiffs are known to be loyal, kind, calm and quiet dogs. Mirroring his Mastiff traits, Black Mouth Currs are also known to be loyal, affectionate and courageous. Bubba came to Canada as a street dog from Mexico. He was originally only supposed to be a foster dog but his charm won everyone over and he became a permanent part of the family. After growing his infatuation for balls (levelling up from tennis to soccer balls), his favourite quarantine activity has been learning basketball. He currently can only play defence (i.e. steal the ball), but hopes to make it pro with enough practice. Maybe one day we’ll see Bubba in the Raptors starting lineup. Bubba enjoys a good spa day. His favourite hygiene routine is when he gets his ears cleaned.

We own a handbag dog. That at least is what my mother calls her, probably because she takes him shopping in her handbag. She is a miniature Yorkshire terrier and she is a delight. Her most attractive quality is that she is friendly to everyone, especially children. They love her molten-brown eyes and her glossy fur. She also has the cutest little paws. They are like a fox’s paws and she loves to dig up the garden with them. She also has a small, marshmallow tail. It is soft and white so we just call it the marshmallow. She can be very ladylike and fussy about her food at times. She turns her nose up at dog food but would snap your hand off for a chocolate digestive. Her small, sharp teeth make short work of any treats we give her. She is always playful and that is why we adore her. Her whip-thin body is very energetic. I’m sure she believes she’s a gazelle or a cheetah at times! Although she can be as temperamental as a human child, we wouldn’t swop her for anything.

They live for a warm sunbeam, a nosh, and a nap. They do what they want, when they want. And they definitely don’t care what anyone thinks. The kitten is a new spark of life in softest fur. Her eyes tell of pure energy tempered by an undercurrent of nervousness. She leaps with the sudden pounce of a tiger, gaining confidence and accuracy. It won't be long before she's pure cat, independent and sassy, the queen of her human subjects. Not yet though, not yet. She's still a little girl trying on mama's shoes, sitting to lick herself like she's a year old already, loosing her balance and trying to look like she meant to do it.
