Here is a compilation of trains that I saw during my visit to the BNSF Transcon (Marceline Sub). The day started out in foggy weather but soon opened up to fantastic blue skies.

I got lucky today on the BNSF Transcon and caught a well timed meet of two trains.

Here we see a pair of BNSF locomotives earnimg their keep in the Crete, NE yard. The sun was out, but it was cold!!

I was visiting a good friend when I heard a train horn on the edge of town. I barely made it to the tracks to stick my camera out the window when this BNSF train went flying by!

This piece of equipment is fairly new to Union Pacific. It was fabricated locally here in Iowa and delivered in sets over several months. One has been working through my hometown lately so I decided to record it in action.

I took this time-lapse video when I worked on the railroad. I got to enjoy many sunrises and sunsets during my time there.

I pulled off to the side of the road to watch a couple trains pass by and was greeted by two empty coal trains heading west to get loaded again.
