Pushing the texan to the limits of the equipment. In this video I attempt a 315 yard cold bore shot. In 308 terms this is the equivalent trajectory wise to a 1115 yard shot with a 168 Sierra Match King in a .308

In this video we are taking the STOCK Airforce Texan and getting it ready to push it to it's limits. The end goal is to try and get this gun out to 400 plus yards and possibly farther. We are experimenting with scope mounts and different lead mixes to try and get the elevation and velocity we need to shoot accurately at ELR.

As my eyes age, it is getting harder and harder to see the front sight crisply for optimal accuracy. In this video I will be fitting the Crimson Trace LG207 to my ultralight S&W Titanium 41 mag and shooting the first shots by co-witnessing the laser to the front sight. Doing this you will be center target with your first shots as long as your front sight is correct.

In this video for the sake of science we take the Keith Designed HP 429-421 modified by NOE Molds and shoot it into Ballistic gel, The Alloy Used is 30-1. As predicted the outcome is total obliteration of the gel block. Watch it in slow motion as the block just gets destroyed. The mold can be sourced here. Ran into a little snag getting the .44 ballistic test up. Apparently I lent out my .432 push through sizer. Took the opportunity to make a video on how I open up a sizer die that is too small for the application.

A version of this video was originally uploaded 1.17.23. It was taken down by youtube due to supposed content violations. Despite me appealing they still deleted it. There is no casting on this version just the results. Like the original there is no inserting of magazines or threading of suppressors.
