Don't neglect Heart Day!
Your heart is the most important muscle. You want to train it to be healthy and strong.
Cardio training will increase the endurance of your nervous system which will increase strength in the weight room!
Other pros of cardio:
Reduced risk of a myriad of diseases.
Improved lung capacity,
Better sleep,
Stronger immune system,
Helps create energy deficit.
The goal is to get your heart rate up and keep it there for 150 minutes/ week. It doesn't matter what type of cardio that you do. Find one you enjoy and stick with it.
If you are out of shape, just start by going for walks. Walking is tremendously better than doing nothing. Small changes over time build up and create progress!

I realize this is not an impressive weight to be lifting. I realize that I'm not some huge guy who has been lifting his entire life. 2 short years ago my max was 135 and I was a newb. I guess you could say I'm an intermediate lifter now. But this is still just the beginning. These videos will give me something to look back on years from now.
