I see why even the beloved disciple John asked:

What manner of love the Father has bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God.

It is mind-boggling when you think of what Jesus went through to pull you and me out from the muddy pit of sin.

Who for the joy that was set before Him, to be with us forever, endured the cross,

despising the shame, and set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
