This means having enough money saved up to cover your expenses for a few months in case you lose your job or your business takes a hit. And for those of you interested in real estate investing, a recession can actually be a great time to buy properties at a discount and build your portfolio. But be careful, because it's important to do your research and make sure you're investing in the right properties that will still be profitable in the long run.

The forbearance rate increased last month for the first time in 29 months
The Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) reported Monday the forbearance rate increased in October after more than two years of declines.
No, it’s not over. Forbearance plans are still alive and well.
As of October 31, there were 350,000 U.S. homeowners in forbearance plans, up from 345,000 at the end of September. That’s 5,000 NEW forbearance plans put in place just last month.

Mortgage rates crashed by 47 basis points. Is the housing market turning around?
According to the most recent Freddie Mac survey, the 30-year fixed rate reduced this week to an average of 6.61%, down from last week's 7.08%.
Historically speaking, that’s a very big drop. It's the biggest tumble in 40 years. Not since 1981 has the market seen a crash like this in such a short period of time. Why?
The weaker inflation numbers last week seem to have crashed the mortgage rates and some lenders are seeing a significant increase in demand from home buyers for new mortgage loans.
Executives and loan officers are saying that it is too soon to suggest this is a turning point for the market.

Isn't debt bad? Isn't it risky?
No, debt isn’t bad or risky… but the people using it can be.

BREAKING NEWS THIS WEEK: Thanks to the cost-of-living adjustments in the tax code that the IRS released this week, Americans whose salaries are getting crushed by inflation MAY pay less in taxes NEXT year. Here’s what we know…
Federal income tax brackets will jump by 7%. The 37% top income tax rate will apply to individuals earning $578,125. That's up $38,225 from $539,900 this year.
Also, the standard deduction is increasing. The normal tax deduction for married couples filing jointly has increased to $27,700 from $25,900. It will jump from $12,950 to $13,850 for single filers.
Ronald Reagan, Joe Biden and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) are all included in the shenanigans!

Due to historically low interest rates, America's borrowing binge has long been seen as sustainable. But when rates increase, the country's financial problems worsen.
The Biden Administration is spending money the country doesn't have. This spending spree is making it difficult for Jerome Powell and the Fed to manage the sky-high inflation we're all dealing with.
This month, the U.S. national debt surpassed $31 trillion for the first time ever, surpassing it at a time when the Federal Reserve is ceasing to purchase government paper and income from overseas investors is dwindling.
What can YOU do?
Any extra cash you have will be quickly consumed by the economy the longer you try to figure out what to do with it, until it inexplicably disappears.
Get credit lines in advance of a crash so you may take advantage of opportunities and stock up on cash!
It doesn't matter what's going on in the economy; what matters is how ready and positioned you are for it.
Also, give up attempting to advance. You might have 20, 40, or even a couple hundred thousand dollars stashed away in a savings account. You might have settled all of your debt. Additionally, perhaps you always contribute the maximum to your Roth IRA and 401(k).
Most people would consider this a major victory.
Unfortunately, if you continue to make money by "doing the bare minimum," you run a very high danger of feeling the economic burn that is rapidly approaching all of us.
More crucially, those who don't alter their direction right away might never recover.
Everyone in the realm of money creation has a different opinion. Everything is really mentally taxing and, to be honest, and it all gives me a headache.
However, the truth is that everyone is sticking the same tired ideas.
