Firefighter Union Playing the 911 Blame Game
In late October 2023, a 22 year old woman was tragically killed in a fire at a Wichita, Kansas apartment complex. Firefighter Union leaders are placing the blame squarely on the 911 call taker and the communications center administrator.
What is unique about this tragedy that created a need to blame someone? Is there a broader conversation that should be had? Former dispatcher-turned retied cop Drew discusses the case with active dispatcher Jon as they review the harrowing 911 call.
The show that dissects 911 calls and emergency response video by two guys who have done both jobs.

Royalty Does not Mean Loyalty
Todays leadership lesson is
brought to you by @garyvee and
some scar tissue. If saucers and
milk might feasibly be the meal at the members only leadership/
administration Christmas party,
you're in the wrong organization.
If your "leaders" are positional
leaders and don't have any skill
or training other than amassing
power and stomping their "frenemies", you're in the wrong organization. If your boss is a middle aged person who will throw you to the wolves so they "don't get in trouble" with another middle aged person, YOU ARE IN THE WRONG ORGANIZATION. Value the leaders that don't do any of the above.

Kyle Rittenhouse Contradictions
The Kyle Rittenhouse trial has the nation divided by those who are watching, and those who are wishing. It would be great if we stopped playing the “if he was Black” or “because he’s White” game, and look at the content of character. This was a 17 year old kid who went to a community that was burning to render first aid, regardless of who was injured. Why hasn’t the video of him scrubbing racist graffiti off of the high school gone viral? Quit claiming you want an end to racism while you claim everything is based in race. The mainstream media needs us divided. They are not your friends.

Transparency in Public Service Should be Universal
Why are civilian review boards applauded, but school board commenters a threat to society?
Are teachers considered public servants or not? Should we take to the streets and tear down statues when an entire school district can’t read at grade level?

The Kyle Rittenhouse Trial is Revenge not Justice
No justice, no peace? If you’re rooting for the prosecution in this case, you’re rooting for revenge, not justice. If you want the system to be fair, shouldn’t it be fair for everyone?

High School Student Arrested
This is what it is going to take to change things. This 16 year old high school student in Laramie, WY stood her ground against a mask mandate. She was arrested for Trespassing, not for non-compliance with a mask mandate. A mutually respectful encounter. I would never encourage breaking the law, but how else will bad policy or bad laws be challenged in court? She kind of took one for the team here in my opinion. If you’re going to be a contentious objector, follow her lead and do so peacefully. You will get a ton more mileage.

Allen West Saga Continues
Allen West had the gall to question the leadership of Dallas Police Chief Eddie Garcia. West is calling for the firing of officers who arrested his wife after a DWI investigation, and the officers clearly had probable cause. West claims to support law enforcement, but is questioning police officers the way Lebron James and other know-nothing critics do.
