People are becoming more aware of Alternative/Holistic/Oriental Medicine these days. When Dr. House first started practicing in 2004, only 25% of Americans had ever tried Alternative/Holistic/Oriental Medicine. Last year, “Acupuncture Today” completed a survey and found that now 75% of Americans had tried some form of Alternative/Holistic/Oriental Medicine. Western(Modern) Medicine was thought to be the only way people could become healed. With the age of the Internet and the mass media outlets, people are starting to see how dangerous Western Medicine really had become. Frankly, people are sick of taking drugs with all their side effects and going underneath the knife. In fact, over 75% of all drugs on the market today are just a synthetic duplication of substances that occurs naturally. The World Health Organization (W.H.O.) had ranked the United States 37th in the world for the quality of our health care. Does this seem wrong to anyone besides myself? There are now more drug commercials on television today than ever before.

Have you ever realized that the word diet has DIE in it. When people go on a diet, they are literally killing themselves, by not eating or eating things that are not right for their body type. There isn’t one diet that works for everyone because we are all individually unique. It seems like every year around this time a new fad diet comes out and everyone jumps on the “bandwagon”. Please don’t be fooled or sold to, I want to show you a way of eating that has been in existence for over 4,000 years. The Asian way of eating, caters to the individual and their health needs.

In fact, there are more drug commercials than any other type of commercials. There was a study done by ten U.S. doctors called, “Death by Medicine” and in the study, they concluded that Western Medicine is the No. 1 killer in the U.S. Don’t take my word for it; I have the study here on this website. Drug companies are so wealthy and have so much influence that they have changed the way medicine is practiced. Drug companies are more loyal to their stockholders than they are to their patients/customers. Think about it, the stockholders want to make big profits. If the drugs they are selling were to heal people; they would lose customers and make less money. The model of medicine has become one of masking & managing symptoms. If the drug companies can mask & manage a patient’s disease, they have a customer for life. Don’t get me wrong; Western Medicine definitely has its merits, but it certainly isn’t the “be-all and end-all” for treating disease in the modern era.
