The West is sleepwalking into a situation that will have serious consequences.

This is not an isolated case. Why does no one in the context of the culture industry thematize this problem?

"We are sick and tired of democracy. And we are here to provide you an alternative and that is the Sharia" What should they do besides openly declaring it?

In the West there is no discourse on any of this. The culture industry covers these aspects of Islam entirely contrary to Western tradition. Politics just ignores them. Either we have become completely dumb or there is more to it.
