Squirrel Troubles
My cats likes to hunt birds and squirrels. I created a story about two squirrels that live on my property using the many clips of the squirrels that I caught over the years. I think children would enjoy this little drama/story.
I don't get to see my grandchildren much and wish that I could read to them more often than I am able. This video is my way of bringing them a story that I created via video (moving pictures with sounds) from the creatures around me. I have lots more content like this that I will be sharing in the future. Don't miss my previous video "Grandma-Ma's Birdbath" I made it for them.
If you want to thank me for bringing you good wholesome clean and creative content please consider using the Super THANKS button below the video to drop me a monetary gift or just send me a coffee using the apps below

Everything is Black & White Scrap Busting
In my quest for using up scraps so nothing goes to waste I created some fabulous masculine cards. I used a combination of stenciled designs, printed patterns, stamped images, wall papers, and embossed papers which made a truly tactile card base for a collection of men's cards. The textured wall papers really added an extra flare to these cards.
You can get FREE sample wall paper books from your local paint & wallpaper supply store. Just ask for expired wallpaper sample books.

Chicken Language Understanding Their Sounds
In 12 years of raising chickens I have made some observations of all the different sounds that chickens make. Each sounds has it's own special use. There is one I missed because I didn't have footage of it. The roosters have a special sound they make unique to any other time when an over head predator flies near. He sounds off and the hens stoop. He stands tall and ready which causes the hawk to change its mind on an attack. Cool to witness but didn't have the camera to catch it.
This video has been 8 years in the making. I had been collecting clips and now since I am having memory issues on my computer I have been going through old footage to try to clean out files and attempting to make more space. So if the sound quality is poor it is because of using older footage, perhaps using an older camera.

Everything is Black and White / Scrap Busting for Card Making
I started off using up my white scraps by stenciling designs to create papers to make cards but things quickly evolved into a completely different card design that I was super happy with.
I combined wallpaper strips with my printed and stamped papers to create these masculine and attractive cards for men.
In this video I explain the process of how I create the diagonal designs https://youtu.be/Q8mNW5wJN1g

DIY Children's Story Book Junk Journal Style
Using the "junk journal" concept to create a little book that will inspire a child to tell her own stories. The paper dolls are the main feature of this book. When I was a little girl I used to make my own paper dolls and their wardrobes.
My thought was to take a 21st century girl and introduce to her to another time period before TVs, iPads, and Cellphones and discover how those young ladies spent their time.
I got the idea for this project when I was told how my granddaughter upon seeing the "Mother's Journal" I had given to my daughter-in-law asked if she could work in it too. I had already been collecting doll patterns on my Pinterest Board as something I was considering for future gifts for my grand-daughters. With crafting . . . one thing inevitably leads to another.
Correction: The colorful neighborhood artwork used from a 2007 Calendar is NOT Thomas Kincaid but the artwork of Dennis Lewan. The name of the Calendar is Hidden Hollows.
Materials:
I used FREE wallpapers from expired wall paper sample books. The other papers are computer printers coffee dyed. I also used pages from a 2007 Thomas Kincaid Calendar. I used to buy pretty calendars in days past. I saved them because of their pretty art work.
Cover image came from ArtSmartCraft on Etsy and paper dolls
Printing paper is Super Premium Ink Jet & Laser Paper 28lb by Pen GEAR
FREE COLORING PAGES: supercoloring.com.coloring-pages I searched for vintage little children and found this site
Stamped images: StampinUP or purchased from Amazon
Book size 5 1/2" x 5 1/4" x 2 1/2"

Grandma Ma's Birdbath ~ Poem by Debra Carmona
I love to sit on my front porch with my cup of tea in the early morning hours just watching and listening to the birds who frequent my yard. In observing the birds I was inspired to write this little poem with my grandchildren in mind. The poem itself is only six and half minutes long which is the first part of this video.
I have been taking lots of video footage and photographing all the birds that visit my birdbath so that I have good photo references in order to do paintings or illustrations for the children's book that I would like to create for my grandchildren. With all this content I thought to make a video of it. The first six minutes is the full content of the poem but since I had so much lovely video footage I decided to include the edited footage of the various birds playing or drinking at my birdbath with only the sounds of the birds. I did not use any canned sounds in the making of this video but only what I recorded myself. Just a little ASMR for your viewing and listening pleasure.
The last two minutes of this video are simply some of the still photos I took of various birds who come to visit my birdbath. I set that last section to music.
I don't get to see my grandchildren much and wish that I could read to them more often than I am able. This video is my way of bringing them a story that I created via video (moving pictures with sounds) from the creatures around me. I have lots more content like this that I will be sharing in the future.

Dollhouse Arched Window
The attic needed a window to bring some light into it so I made an a half circle arched window. This was an after thought, not part of the original plan. I like to make the windows before doing the siding so I couldn't finish siding the back wall until this window was in. I show you my whole process in less than 10 minutes.
With this project I am endeavoring to only use materials that I have at home and not to spend any money other than for glue. So I am discovering the possibilities.
If you would like to see the rest of the videos you will find them on my playlist "Cardboard & Paper Creations"

Altered Book Removing Pages to Make Journal
When I picked up this book to alter into a journal from a flea market I did not know the full content in it until I started using the pages. I knew I wouldn't agree with the author but I did not realize that it would be full of racist and hateful content plus sexual content. So I had to get creative in hiding any inappropriate words when using the pages. I show you several ways I managed that.
