I modified a Nintendo Zapper into a functioning real laser gun with sound and all. Not the fastest way to start a fire but it works.

I was attacked by an owl last night fishing on Bayou . It tried 2 times and the second time it nearly got me. I was just trying to test my new bass rod and reel out and I guess he was attracted by the lure. Figured it was news worthy and funny. No one or animals were hurt. I ended up cutting the line to free him. I could still heard him and a friend "whooing" from the other side of the bayou either thanking me or cussing at me the rest of the night...
