We went out again to the Enchanted Kingdom, which is closed since 2020 and continued our trip through the "canyons" going up to Tagaytay City. The twisties were especially sharp-curved and at times treacherous.

Beyond Impossible - The Truth Behind the Fake Meat Industry - Vegan, Plant-Based
Beyond Impossible exposes the corruption of the fake meat industry and how it ties in with the sinister plans of a global elite. Health expert Vinnie Tortorich asks the intriguing question: What do Harvard University, internet Vegans and the World Economic Forum all have in common? A religious desire for the world to go Vegan. But why? Is it an effort to stop global warming? Is it an earnest attempt at making everyone healthier? Is it a desperate plea to end animal cruelty? The answers may surprise you. Beyond Impossible reveals an uncomfortable truth about a world where peoples good intentions are being taken advantage of by everyone from Vegan doctors to global elites hell bent on instituting planetary policies that remove all personal choices from the kitchen and beyond. To name a few, the characters involved include a Harvard doctor who wants to tax consumers into the healthy choice, a fake meat inventor who has a fascination with snapping cows out of existence, a vegan leader who bares a strong resemblance to Jesus Christ and a German engineer and economist who dreams of starting task forces to realize his dreams of a global reset. Joined by experts that include doctors, journalists and even former vegans, Vinnie Tortorich maintains that while we still have the power of free will, it's only a matter of time before it's too late.
Directed By: Vinnie Tortorich
Starring: Vinnie Tortorich, Frederic Leroy, Dr. Tony Hampton, Nina Teicholz, Dr. Frank Mitloehrner, Lierre Keith, John Freeman

Rebel on the Expressway - Going to the Honda Dealership in Sto. Tomas
My ABS cable got damaged by a carwash. After 3 months, finally the new cable arrived. And it was time to do the 5000 km inspection. Two birds with one stone scenario. From Lipa City to Sto. Tomas there is this fairly new expressway, which I usually take going to the Honda dealer. A nice opportunity to let the Rebel fly...

Climate: The Movie
This movie debunks climate alarmism as a made-up scare with no scientific basis. It shows that mainstream studies and official data do not support the claim that we are experiencing an increase in extreme weather events - hurricanes, droughts, heat waves, wildfires and everything else. It strongly contradicts the claim that current temperatures and CO2 levels in the atmosphere are unusually and worryingly high. On the contrary, compared to the last half billion years of the Earth's history, both current temperatures and CO2 levels are extremely and unusually low. We are currently in an ice age. It also shows that there is no evidence that changing CO2 levels (they have changed many times) have ever "driven" climate change in the past.
Why then are we repeatedly told that "catastrophic man-made climate change" is an irrefutable fact? Why are we told that there is no evidence to contradict this? Why are we told that anyone who questions the "climate chaos" is a "flat-earther" and a "science denier"?
The film explores the nature of the consensus behind climate change. It describes the origins of the climate finance bandwagon and the rise of the trillion-dollar climate industry. It describes hundreds of thousands of jobs that depend on the climate crisis. It explains the enormous pressure on scientists and others not to question the climate alarm: Withdrawal of funds, rejection by scientific journals, social ostracism.
But the climate alarm is much more than just a funding and employment boom. The film examines the politics of climate. From the beginning, the climate scare was political. The culprit was free market industrial capitalism. The solution was higher taxes and more regulation. From the beginning, climate alarm has appealed to those groups who favor stronger government, and it has been adopted and promoted by them.
This is the unspoken political divide behind climate alarmism. Above all, climate anxiety appeals to all members of the sprawling, publicly funded establishment. This includes the largely publicly funded Western intelligentsia, for whom climate has become a moral issue. In these circles, it is a breach of social etiquette to criticize or question climate alarmism.
The film features interviews with a number of very prominent scientists, including Professor Steven Koonin (author of "Unsettled", former Rector and Vice President of Caltech), Professor Dick Lindzen (former Professor of Meteorology at Harvard and MIT) and Professor Will Happer (Professor of Physics at Princeton), Dr. John Clauser (winner of the 2022 Nobel Prize in Physics), Professor Nir Shaviv (Racah Institute of Physics), Professor Ross McKitrick (University of Guelph), Willie Soon and several others.
The film was written and directed by British filmmaker Martin Durkin and is the sequel to his excellent 2007 documentary "The Great Global Warming Swindle". The film was produced by Tom Nelson, a podcaster who has been deeply involved in the climate debate for almost two decades.

Strawberry Fields in Tagaytay
We visited a strawberry farm in Alfonso, near Tagaytay. The strawberries there were excellent. The place was clean and cool with a lot of trees around. A very attractive place, except.... its parking place, which was a kind of gravel pit.

Rebel on the Road - Touring along the Taal Volcano
Going to Agoncillo, a little town very close to the Taal Lake and Volcano. Beautiful scenery and similar roads, newly paved, as it seemed, made our ride a fun thing.
From Agoncillo, we continued to ride up the mountains to Tagaytay, a reverse route from last Sunday, when we went to the Shrine of Padre Pio

Rebel on the Road - A short Visit at the Calatagan Solar Farm
I learned that there is a solar farm near the boundary of Calatagan and Balayan. Not too far from my place. I gave it a try and went out to take a look at the solar heaven in the remote area. Not much to see, except an ocean of solar panels and some guards, who looked at me in suspicion, trying to figure out, what I came for
