Sometimes a hermit will look at a new shell forever before deciding if it is the one. This shell didn’t make the cut and is still empty in the front of the tank.

Sometimes you just enjoy watching them sleep.

Most people by a Cleaner Shrimp or other large ornamental shrimp for the display tank. I have a few large mysid shrimp holding their own with the fish and each other. They are busy all over the tank, cleaning it.

The tank has 15 lbs of rock. It is a standard 10 gallon tank with a hang on the back filter. It is 6 weeks old this week.

When food is everywhere, you eat as you climb down the rock.

Still large and in charge, even when he is napping.

I just love watching these guys in the tank.

When you see a fish disappear into the rock and appear in another place, he knows the tank better than you.

When the food is on the shell of a snail, you just catch a ride.

The itty bitty hermit pushes his tint shell around unto another hermit pushes back.

Hermit crab catch a ride on a Cerith snail going up the glass. Wasn’t too long before he wanted off.

This little guy turned his new shell over to get air bubbles out only to hop in and have more bubbles to remove.

Before they turn into cats that use grooming as dominance, they are kittens who use grooming to show love. Here are my babies when they were 4 months old, loving on each other. Chloe is the black and gold tortie. Mango is the, you guest it, orange kitty.

I have a problem with mucus net in my tank. The moment I see some stringing itself out I stop everything to get it out of the tank. It is an eye sore.

Mango was sleeping on top of the dog's crate. I covered the crate with a soft blanket, and Mango uses it as his bed, out of the reach of the dogs!

This little guy was a hitchhiker in a bag of feeder shrimp. He is a teeny tiny hermit in a teeny tiny shell sitting in another HUGE shell eating.

Chloé sits high in cat tree. She is a beautiful golden black tortie!

Straight out of the ending of the movie, Legend, I walked into floating seeds carried on the wind that filled the air and covered the ground. Birds sang and it was beautiful!

When ever square inch of rock has food, you can enjoy a snack with a friend.

He is the smallest critter in the tank. Even the smallest shrimp is bigger. He just sits on the edge of a rock. Quiet in his own space.

Tazz, grey tabby, has the blanket. Mango comes along and kitty battle ensues. Check out who owns the blanket at the end of the 'battle'.

Orange tabby Mango is chilling on his cat toy blanket. So peaceful. Beautiful kitty.

While curled up in cat tree in window, Tazz stretches and rolls his head. Pure delight!

Alvin, a 4 year old orange tabby, kneads the bed before beadtime.
