Park Lawn GO: from transit solution to Humber Bay Shores to devastation of the Mimico Creek habitat
The developer - First Capital - was tasked by the City of Toronto to build a Park Lawn Go train station on the 27 acre parcel of former Christie factory that is now owned by First Capital. This is a requirement before developer can start any residential construction.
After a long stand-off with another stakeholder - Metrolinx - the solution finally came: to build the station on someone else's lands.
Walk with me around the area as I show what paper assessments and reports do not show. If one hour is too long - please skip to the "Summary" section at 40:40 (with a fireplace thumbnail)

**A NOTE to the item at 49:30 - the response was received on 28-th of December. did not clarify much, stating: "the size of the GO Station concept has been refined, which will result in less impact. These details will be further refined in the detailed design."
