My Brother, My Brother, My Brother, STREAMED LIVE REHEARSED READING
My Brother, My Brother, My Brother.
A play that celebrates the Beauty of Masculinity.
Live streamed from the Alex Theatre, St Kilda. Start time 2pm.
This is to let an audience hear the script and give live feedback on the play, before proceeding to the premier.
Tickets will be on the door; $20 each
If you can make it to the online event, we would also love to hear your feedback, links will be made available.
Info on the play:
Michael Gray Griffith, writer of ‘Marooned’ and ‘The Magnolia Tree’ has a new play aimed at young men.
Three young men wake up on a small disabled fishing boat that is drifting further and further out to sea. All their phones are missing, the radio has been broken, and they cannot see land nor any search planes or boats.
It appears they were drugged and now have woken up in a perilous situation, alone.
Initially the play appears to be a simple survival story but as time passes the play becomes a mirror, that asks us all a profound question: If we treat our young males as though there is something wrong with them, and offer them only shame, what do you think will happen to their souls?
The play is very funny, tense, and full of colourful language, but it is also full of courage and mateship, as these three young men work together to celebrate the forgotten beauty of masculinity.

The Cardi Girls with Guest Sarah O'Donnell
I'm Sarah O'Donnell. I'm married, mum of 3 daughters aged 19, 16 & 13. Owner of Aspendale Swim School which we built at home 17 years ago. My husband and I started the business whilst I was on maternity leave after having our first daughter.
There have been some challenges along the way, 2 years after we opened the swim school, we ended up in VCAT. Kingston Council tried to impose unreasonable operating restrictions on the business, so we challenged them and won. O'Donnell V Kingston Council has since been used by other swim schools Australia wide who have faced similar challenges. All three daughters now work in the business whilst at school and uni.
Then along came Covid and lockdowns, swim schools were one of the hardest hit industries and locked down for nearly 2 years. Opening and closing your business is incredibly draining and expensive, I often wondered if I could keep doing it. I attended protests, received an $1800 fine, only 800m from my house, it was later removed after I contested it. This is when I found my voice.
I ran in the Federal election as a Liberal Democrat, I had loved what David was standing up for in Victoria and I joined the party. I ran against Mark Dreyfus and did surprisingly well taking 4.87% after a 6 week campaign. I resigned from the party soon after the election and declared independent for the State election and was the 4th candidate behind Labor, Liberal and the Greens. I finished with 7.35% of first preference votes and around 10% after preferences were distributed, which I was very happy with, after a self funded campaign.
Now I'm running for Council In the City of Kingston in the Yammerbook Ward., keeping very busy at the moment.

SCAM CITY Human Trafficking with Mechelle Moore
SCAM CITY Human Trafficking with Mechelle Moore. We’ve all heard about online scams, perhaps even fallen victim to such scams. These scammers deceive victims around the world, yet in thousands of cases they are victims too.
Thousands of people are trafficked globally into the war-torn eastern regions of Burma, where they are forced to scam people in Europe, the US, and China.
On the Burma/ Thailand border in Southeast Asia in such places like KK Park, a notorious cyber slavery scam city, refusal to do so can lead to torture or even death.
Courage Is The Cure speaks with Mechelle Moore from Global Alms about scam cities.

Fabian Socialism's Silent War on Australia and the West
Be sure to share this podcast far and wide
In this eye-opening episode, KOFY sits down with researcher David L. C. to delve into the often overlooked yet profoundly influential ideology of Fabian socialism. Together, they explore its roots, its subtle infiltration into political and social structures, and its far-reaching impact on Australia, the Anglo-sphere, and the global landscape. Discover how this slow-burn ideology poses a silent yet significant threat to freedom, democracy, and the values that underpin Western civilisation.

Currently, we are in rehearsals, but since the characters are all heroic, my dream is that people will bring their sons to the theatre, and their sons would feel, that just by listening to these three young men, that they are being heard.
Who knows what conversations might ensue?.

Stuart Chapman a Rare Principle willing to defend his Principles
Stuart Chapman was one of only a handful of school principals in the state who refused to take the jab and now is active on a number of different fronts fighting for freedom.
Originally born in the mining town of Broken Hill, son of a mining engineer, he also lived on Stradbroke Island; he did most of his schooling in Melbourne gaining an Agricultural engineering degree at Melbourne University. He married young, and had five children and saw that the school system was so broken that he and his wife Dianne home educated their children for 18 years.
He worked as an engineer for five years before deciding to go to Bible college in Adelaide, He then moved west again and pastored churches both in rural WA and in Perth.
He then felt the call to go into teaching and has been teaching for 20 years being the principal of two Christian schools.
He also ran the largest homeschooling support service in Western Australia with around 500 students in an organisation known as Homeschool WA.
He also served in the Army Reserve for 25 years.
Since Covid, when he was banned from teaching for four months as he refused to take the jab, he has become a very active and well known figure in the freedom movement in WA.
He now organises rallies on the first Saturday of the month in Perth CBD called the Walk of Shame.
He has also taken the fight to court, with two active cases, the first was against the Commissioner of Police, which will get a result on 16 September and another with the assistance of the Free Speech Union against the City of Perth.
He expects to launch another case against the Police in the next couple of months.
He writes, "My grandfather got blown up by German artillery in France, and my father fought against the Japanese as a young lieutenant for five years in New Guinea, and Borneo. If they were willing to risk their lives to fight against external enemies, how can I not make much smaller sacrifices to fight the enemies we face from within.

John Stapleton (Australian journalist) What Happened to Journalism?
The first money he ever made out of writing was in 1974 when he was co-winner of a short story competition held by what was then Australia's leading cultural celebration, the Adelaide Arts Festival.
He graduated from Macquarie University in 1975 with a double major in philosophy and did post-graduate work with the Sociology Department at Flinders University.
John's Books are available here https://www.amazon.com/Terror-Australia-Workers-Paradise-Lost/dp/0994479115/
As a freelance journalist in the 1970s and 1980s, while alternating between living in Sydney and London, his articles and fiction appeared in a wide range of magazines, newspapers and anthologies, including The Australian Financial Review.
John Stapleton worked on The Sydney Morning Herald as a staff news reporter between 1986 and 1994. The paper was then listed as one of the Top 20 newspapers in the world.
He worked for the national newspaper The Australian from 1994 to 2009.
His books include: Thailand: Deadly Destination, Terror in Australia: Workers' Paradise Lost, Hideout in the Apocalypse and the soon to be re-released Hunting the Famous. His new book Unfolding Catastrophe: Australia will be available in August 2021.
As a news reporter, Stapleton encountered and wrote many hundreds of stories about everyone from street alcoholics to Australian Prime Ministers; from the staple flood, drought, fire and natural disasters of the Australian bush to scenes of urban dysfunction.
In 2000 he became co-founder of the world's longest running radio program on father's issues, Dads on the Air.
After leaving The Australian, Stapleton established A Sense of Place Magazine and the niche publishing company A Sense of Place Publishing.
