Romans 5:8 ~ VICTORY IS POSSIBLE EVEN IN YOUR MISERY
But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. ~ Romans 5:8.
In this week's C-VINE Home Bible Study, we read of a story of love and of forgiveness. If the forgiveness is minimal, the gratitude is minimal. If the forgiveness is great, the gratitude is great.
Have you ever done anything that required forgiveness? There is a great Redeemer who is willing to do just that! All you have to do is ask. Are you ready?

Psalm 46:10 ~ The Crash That Changed My Worship
Be still and know that I am God. ~ Psalm 46:10
In this week's C-VINE Home Bible Study, I share of an incident, where worshiping God was all I could do.
Choices in life lead us to believe things are either good or bad...but what if our focus was only on the good, even in catastrophic events? Could God's plan for our lives really be that simple?
When we read the Bible, how does the Holy Spirit really transform our lives? If you have wondered these same things, please join me in today's Patriot Prayer Brigade Home Bible Study.

Matthew 11:28 ~ A Missed Opportunity to Speak Life into a Broken Man
Come to me all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. ~ Matthew 11:28
In this week's C-VINE Home Bible Study, I share another personal story. This time of a missed opportunity of encouragement. The Lord speaks all the time to his children. The WORD is filled with life, wisdom and direction. God uses each of us to love on each another. Sometimes, He has tasked one person to carry out his love. Are we listening?
There is rest for the weary soul, through Christ. May we grab hold of it then share it with others.

Rebuilding a Shattered Soul After Deep Loss
"Here on earth you will have many trials and tribulations. But take heart, because I have overcome the world!"
~John 16:33
In this week's C-VINE Home Bible Study, I share a very personal story of loss and heart-ache that most people will never experience. No matter what has happened in or around my life... joy, harmony, and peace can still be mine. Circumstances do not define me, but if I embrace the words in Scripture, it will renew my mind, healing my broken heart. My prayer is that if you are dealing with a broken heart, you will find encouragement in this Home Bible Study.

Moving From a Mindset of Grief Into The Peace That Passes All Understanding.
Grief... what do you think of when you hear the word, grief?
Does it take you back to a memory which seemed too great to overcome?
How did you work through it? How did you deal with grief?
In this week's C-VINE's Home Bible Study, we learn of the challenges in the life of Job. This book of the Bible, Job, shares the struggles of the losses of his wealth, his health, the accusations from his friends and the death of his 10 children. Job's grief, the depression, and yes, even him wishing he'd never been born, was pain and mental anguish just too great to bear! Many of us can relate in some form or another.
The bible says Job lived a prosperous life after such devastation and loss... but how? What did he do to move beyond his grief in a time of such devastation and significant loss? He did ONE specific thing. Let's look into the life of Job and seek it out together.

Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
In Matthew 14, Peter had faith he could walk on the water, but when a storm crashed all around him, he lost sight of Jesus, his faith waned and he began to sink. In spite of the storm, Jesus was there...
Is the bible still relevant today? Scripture says Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever. He longs to save us not only from an eternity without Him but desires to walk this life with us, so we may live a life of victory.
But the enemy is alive and well and this life of victory may come at a high price.
Twenty-one years ago today, Patriots everywhere were devasted to learn of the 9-11 attack. With our National Anthem playing at the end of this video, we at C-VINE wish to pay tribute to those lives lost, to family members who will forever mourn the loss of their loved ones, and to all Americans who grieved that loss of life and America's freedom that day.
Our National Anthem is a great reminder that our freedoms we have in America should never be taken for granted! May God bless America!

Having faith in uncertain times; the life of Moses
In this week's C-VINE's Home Group Bible Study, we explore the book of Exodus.
The book of Exodus tells of the account of Moses but prior to his birth, we read that Pharoah was terrified of the Israelites. He realized they were growing in number and if war broke out, they could over power the Egyptian army and Pharoah's reign. So, in a desperate attempt to stop what might happen, he ordered the whole nation of Israel to become their slaves.
Moses was born after this time. God used him, through his faith, to deliver the Israelites from slavery into freedom.
All this was done because of Moses’s faith.
The same God who worked through Moses’s faith is the same God who wants to work through you and I. If we feel trapped or enslaved in this world, God is there to show us how to step into His victory. Faith is the key for faith is what pleases God.

I was SWATted! All Members of the Household Placed into Cuffs.
"The Faith Chapter" of the Bible in Hebrews 11:1 gives a beautiful detailed list of many acts of faith throughout biblical history. It is written in such a way to uplift the discouraged.
"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." ~ Hebrews 11:1
On today's Home Bible Study, JoLynn Live and Linda Forsythe discuss how we can take the same actions of faith in today's world as our Biblical ancestors did.
Linda Forsythe offers her own testimony about what nudged her to leave all her belongings behind in California, (except for 3 suitcases) and permanently move to Texas where she knew no one.
When the time came to about three weeks away, Linda was beginning to have serious doubts, wondering if she was doing the right thing. She asked God for a definitive sign for direction.
The sign came in such a way, that the Lord left her with no doubt as to her path. She moved forward without looking back.
The Lord showed the way providing a peace that surpassed all understanding.
The song at the end is titled, "Be Not Afraid" and is sung by John Michael Talbot.

What Can Happen if You Squander God's Gifts & Follow Your Own Path
The Bible is filled with stories of those who received a special anointing, but then strayed off their path. Those who have been given much... much is expected.
King Solomon observed, "There is nothing new under the sun".
In C-VINE's Home Bible Study group, we observe what happened thousands of years before, and discuss how it may be repeating itself today.
Who knows if you were placed exactly where you are today, for such a time as this?

"Think on These Things" How to Bring Yourself to the Peace Beyond All Understanding
Video and Radio Recording for C-VINE Prayer Brigade & Home Bible Study
When we are being Spiritually and Emotionally attacked from all sides... it is natural to become tired, sad and overwhelmed. It is a slippery slope because if we don't obtain a handle on it, the downward slide can send us spiraling into a pit of despair and hopelessness.
Our Lord gave us guidance on what to do in times such as this, and our family discussion today is all about that. ❤

Practical Advice on How to Implement the Full Armor of God, (Inspired by Admiral McRaven)
Subject: In 2014, Admiral McRaven gave a Commencement address at the University of Austin to a rousing standing ovation. It was practical advice on how to face and succeed against the many battles in life. (McRaven used the Navy Seal Boot Camp Training as an example).
Amazingly his inspiring words, fit very nicely with the Word of our Lord. God taught us how to put on the whole armor of God, that we may stand against the wiles of the devil, in Ephesians 6:10–18.
We were instructed on how to be warriors against an enemy that seeks only to steal, kill and destroy us.
