Stand Still and See the Salvation of the Lord - August 15, 2021
As the country starts mandating Covid jabs, Kevin covers the related questions about how Christians should respond. Is it sinful to take the jab, or to not take the jab? Are we to live in fear, or to trust in Jesus? Using the events of the crossing of the Red Sea and some of the history contained in the book of Esther, Kevin explains that this current trial is not unlike those of the past. The study concludes with the great hope a true believer in Jesus has, no matter what happens as a result of all this COVID jab chaos.

The Ukraine-Russia Conflict – A Prophetic Look with Q&A Session - February 27, 2022
This topical teaching by Pastor Kevin was given during a Sunday night service on the week that Russian troops entered Ukraine. Pastor Kevin gives the history leading up to this war starting in 1954 when the USSR gave Crimea to Ukraine (also part of the USSR at the time). The western media says that this attack by Russia was unprovoked. Is this true? Many spiritual leaders are saying that Christians should be on the side of Ukraine. Is this true? If not, why not? If we are in the last of the last days, what should we expect to see happen as a result of this war based on the yet unfulfilled prophecies of Daniel and Revelation? These and other topics are discussed during this teaching.

God is Not Wicked – We Are!
For decades Pastor Kevin has reached out to the lost with the truth of God’s salvation plan. During those thousands of conversations, Kevin has heard many lies of Satan that have gotten into the minds of the lost. Kevin covers the first lie which took place in the garden when Satan questioned God’s word and convinced Eve and thus Adam that they could be like God, choosing for themselves what was good and evil. Ever since then, sinful man has been trying to justify themselves by condemning the true God. In this study, Kevin covers some of the popular lies that people use and how those lies are refuted by the true nature and character of God.

Pharaoh has refused God’s command to let the Israelites worship Him in the wilderness, so God turns the Nile River to blood and then sends successive plagues of frogs, lice, and flies. Each plague reminded the Egyptians of one of their many gods and revealed the God of the Israelites as more powerful than the false gods they worshipped. With each plague, Pharaoh initially relents but then again rebels once God brings relief. It is the same today– people repeatedly and stubbornly refuse to acknowledge the one true God of the Bible and His Son, Jesus, as the only way to be saved from the judgment that is soon to come our world in the Tribulation Period. Pastor Kevin pleads with those who have not yet humbled themselves and accepted Jesus to do so today and exhorts believers to from the gods of our culture and worship Him only.

Exodus 6:9-7:13, But Pharoah Will Not Heed You
August 13, 2023, S-1553-KL
Today, we see God again command Moses to confront Pharaoh while Moses again pleads his inadequacy to do so. Moses asks God, “…and how shall Pharaoh heed me” (Exodus 6:30), and God replies, “But Pharaoh will not heed you” (Exodus 7:4). Pastor Kevin points to the parallels in the life of the prophet Jeremiah, 800 years later. In both cases, God assures his servants that He will give them the words to speak and, even though neither Pharaoh nor the wayward Israelites would heed them, God always warns a people before He brings judgment on them. Today, God has given believers His words in the Scriptures and commands us also to warn others of God’s soon-coming judgment. Though most will not heed us either, God is working out His perfect purposes despite what we experience in the moment, even as He has in the past.
In Moses’ next encounter with Pharaoh, we see Pharaoh’s sorcerers appear to duplicate God’s miraculous transformation of Aaron’s rod into a serpent. Pastor Kevin explains the connection between sorcery, drug use, and demonism, and our service concludes with one man’s testimony of his encounters with demons while using drugs and how God miraculously delivered him from slavery to drugs and alcohol.

Exodus 5:3 - 6:8, August 6, 2023, You Have Made Us Abhorrent in the Sight of Pharaoh
Exodus 5:3-6:8, You Have Made Us Abhorrent in the Sight of Pharaoh
August 6, 2023, S-1552-KL
As God had foretold, Pharaoh refuses Moses’ request to let the Israelites leave Egypt and instead makes life increasingly difficult for them. The Israelites turn on Moses and Aaron saying, “Let the Lord look on you and judge, because you have made us abhorrent in the sight of Pharaoh and in the sight of his servants” (Exodus 5:21).
Similarly, God warns us that obeying Jesus’ command to preach His gospel (Matthew 28:19-20) will not be easy: “Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution” (2 Timothy 3:10). Pastor Kevin reminds us that God is working out His perfect purposes according to His perfect timing and uses even persecution to grow our faith and to spread the gospel. We must trust Him, even more today as we watch global leaders attempt to shut down the church’s influence in the world. May we not be like the feckless Israelites but instead cling to God’s promises of eternity with Him, knowing that “our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory” (1 Corinthians 3:17).

Is This the Time the Church Should be Looking Up?
March 2020. Pastor Kevin covers prophecies from the book of Daniel predicting that there will be a ten-nation global government ruled by the Antichrist in the last days just before Jesus returns to set up His kingdom. We are starting to see articles surrounding the COVID-19 crisis which have world leaders asking for a global government in order to solve global problems. Pastor Kevin then teaches about New Testament prophecies which teach that the church will be taken off of the earth before the global leader can come to power. This study concludes with the thought that if global government is being advocated for the near future, and the Christian Church has to be gone before the global leader (Antichrist) can come to power, then it appears the time is getting close for us to look up for our redemption is drawing near.

Things Which Must Shortly Take Place – Revelation 1:1-3
Pastor Kevin starts this study through the Book of Revelation by giving the background to this increasingly pertinent prophecy. Many believe that the events foretold in the Book of Revelation have found their fulfillment in the first century when the Romans conquered Jerusalem and destroyed “Herod’s Temple” and scattered the Jews. Pastor Kevin gives several reasons why this Preterist interpretation of Revelation cannot be accurate since God Himself said that He wanted the reader to “hear/understand” what was being written through the Apostle John: Rev 1:3 Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near. NKJV If God did not inspire the prophecies in a way to be understood, then no one can know the meaning of this intriguing book, which concludes God’s Holy Word. Pastor Kevin teaches that there will be a literal ten nation empire, a literal Antichrist, a time where a literal mark on people’s right hand or forehead will be mandated along with worshiping the Antichrist, without which the offending person will not be able to buy or sell, etc, etc. For centuries people have rejected the consideration of a literal interpretation because it was impossible to conceive how these statements in Revelation could ever become true. However, the technological revolution has not only made them possible, but anticipated. Pastor Kevin will continue to teach from a premillennial, dispensational point of view over the ensuing weeks.

August 11, 2023
After last week’s study about the church that lost its first love (Ephesus), Pastor Kevin moves on with the letter to the Church at Smyrna (the persecuted church). Polycarp was a disciple of John the apostle. He was born in Smyrna and was the leader of the church at Smyrna when he was arrested and burned at the stake about 60 years after the letter of Revelation was delivered to his city, warning of coming persecution. He was given the opportunity to save his temporary life if he were only to denounce Jesus and worship Caesar as god. His reply, "Eighty and six years have I served him, and he never once wronged me; how then shall I blaspheme my King, Who hath saved me?" Kevin gives examples of persecution storm clouds forming against Christians in America, and exhorts the church to be courageous as the hardships are certainly going to be ramping up based on the plans of the globalists to bring about a collapse of the world economy. Kevin quotes from the World Economic Forum web site about the goals of the Jan 2021, “Global Reset” meeting https://www.weforum.org/great-reset/about. Next week Kevin plans to finish expounding on the persecuted church of Smyrna and cover the next two churches as well.

Four Angels Released – A Third of Mankind are Killed – Revelation 9:13-21
In this study Pastor Kevin teaches on the sixth trumpet judgment after reviewing the first five. Unlike the fifth trumpet, judgment which was a five-month torment (but not death) of everyone on earth except the hundred-and-forty-four-thousand who were sealed/protected by God, the sixth trumpet results in massive death. In the sixth trumpet judgment, demonic angels are released at the Euphrates. This releasing somehow results in a two-hundred-million strong horse and rider judgment that results in one third of the remaining population of the earth being killed. Pastor Kevin explains how this judgment differs from the sixth bowl of wrath judgment in Revelation chapter 16. Those who confuse the two teach that the two-hundred-million horses are a prophecy about a Chinese mechanized army bringing death to the world. Explaining why this view is not what the scriptures teach about the sixth trumpet, Kevin teaches the alternate interpretation that this judgment is another unleashing of demonic forces.

You Have Given them Blood to Drink – Revelation 15:5-16:11
Pastor Kevin starts with a review of Revelation 15:4, “Who shall not fear You?”; where he gives an answer based the biblical separation of those who believe and trust in Jesus as their savior and those who reject Him to their own hurt.
Then in Chapter 16, Kevin covers the first five of the seven bowls of wrath: loathsome sores on all who have taken the Mark-of-the-Beast, the sea turning to blood and killing all that lived in the sea, the rivers and springs of water becoming blood as judgment against those who killed the saints and prophets, the sun being given power to scorch men with fire, and the fifth angel who poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and his kingdom became full of darkness.
Next week Kevin will cover the final two bowls of wrath and then cover the parenthetical Chapter 17.

Exodus 4:18-5:2, Let My People Go!
July 30, 2023, S-1551-KL
With God’s assurances and his father-in-law Jethro’s permission, Moses journeys back to Egypt, tells the Israelites that God is about to deliver them from slavery, and has his first encounter with Pharoah. In the actions of Zipporah, Moses’ wife, and in Pharoah’s response to Moses in this passage, we recognize those who, throughout all time, have refused to obey God or identify with His people.
God warned Moses that Pharoah, a type of Satan, will at first refuse to let Israel, whom God calls “My son” go free and will then lose his own firstborn son as a result of his rebellion. Fifteen hundred years later, God gave up His firstborn son, Jesus, to be killed so that we can be delivered from the slavery of sin. Like Moses, believers are commanded to be ambassadors for Jesus, trusting Him when the trials and hardships inevitably come, knowing that God’s plan and His purposes will prevail.

Exodus 3:1-4:17; July 23, 2023; I Will Certainly Be With You
Forty years have passed since Moses fled Pharoah’s palace in Egypt and settled in Arabia to tend the flock of his father-in-law Jethro. Now 80 years old and “cured” of his former spirit of independence and self-sufficiency, God now reveals Himself to Moses from the midst of a burning bush, calling him to deliver the Israelites from their bondage in Egypt and promising him, “I will certainly be with you” (Exodus 3:12). Pastor Kevin draws attention to the parallels in this account and the life of Jesus, reminding us that Christians are similarly called to warn of God’s coming judgment and share His message of deliverance (the gospel) to those living in our day. May we, like Moses, respond to God’s call, “Here I am” (Exodus 3:4).

Exodus 1:14 -22, July 9, 2023, But the Midwives Feared God
Exodus 1:14-22, But the Midwives Feared God
July 9, 2023, S-1548-KL
Our study continues in Exodus Chapter 1, focusing on the midwives who disobeyed the new pharaoh’s command to murder all newborn Hebrew males then lied to him about their failure to do so. Even though lying is a sin, Scripture tells us, “Therefore God dealt well with the midwives … because the midwives feared God…” (Exodus 1:20-21). Drawing from other examples in Scripture, Pastor Kevin explains that lying is acceptable to God when it is required to preserve human life. Similarly, the Bible tells us that Christians are to obey the governmental authorities. However, we see that this command does not apply when commands of the government conflict with God’s. Considering current events and the increasing threat of tyranny in our world today, Pastor Kevin exhorts us to remember that the believer’s ultimate obeisance is to Jesus not the government. Life is short; eternity is long.

Exodus 1:1-13, Background to the Book of Exodus
July 2, 2023, S-1547-KL
Pastor Kevin begins a new series in the Book of Exodus with an overview of the historical background from the Book of Genesis. In Genesis, we see how God dealt with humankind differently as time progressed, from Creation, to the Fall, to the Flood, and to the call of Abraham whose descendants, Isaac, Jacob, and those coming after them, would possess the Promised Land (Israel) and eventually lead to the birth of Messiah, the Savior of the World. Pastor Kevin shows out these accounts yield lessons that still apply to us including the effects of sin and rebellion against God on individuals, societies, and countries today.

Hebrews 12:18-13:25, Here We Have No Continuing City, but We Seek the One to Come
June 11, 2023, S-1544-KL
In our final study of the Book of Hebrews this morning, the writer concludes Chapter 12 by contrasting the religious system of the past, which necessitated a separation of the sinner and the holy God, to the new covenant, which provides direct access to this same holy God through the blood of our Mediator Jesus and makes a way to have a personal relationship with our Creator. We must not refuse Jesus. God will one day judge those who do refuse Him. Chapter 13 concludes the book with practical exhortations for Christian living and the reminder that this world is temporary – we seek the continuing, eternal city to come.
Now may the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, make you complete in every good work to do His will, working in you what is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen (Hebrews 13:20-21).

Hebrews 11:32-12:2; May 28, 2023; Of Whom the World was not Worthy
Today, we conclude our study in Hebrews 11, God’s “Faith Hall of Fame,” examining in some detail the lives of Gideon, Barak, and Jephthah. God records their acts of faith – and their moral failings – in the Book of Judges. They, like all the men and women listed in Hebrews 11, faltered at times, but Pastor Kevin reminds us that God saw and rewarded their faith. Chapter 11 concludes by noting that these heroic men and women are just a few of God’s faithful who have persevered through the ages, many of whom suffered greatly and even perished because they refused to disobey God. God calls them people “of whom the world was not worthy” (Hebrews 11:38). Pastor Kevin exhorts believers today to remember these examples, knowing that we too will someday obtain a “better resurrection, (Hebrews 11:35), eternal life with Jesus, “the author and finisher of our faith, Who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross” (Hebrews 12:2).

Hebrews 10:15 - 39, April 16, 2023; You Have Need of Endurance
Returning to our study of Hebrews this week, Pastor Kevin reminds us that the overarching message of this book for its original audience, Jews living after the Resurrection but before the destruction of the Temple in A.D. 70, is: Abandon the Old Testament system of human priests and animal sacrifices because Jesus was our once-and-for-all sacrifice for sin and is now our eternal High Priest! In the same way today, trusting in religious traditions, works, or anything instead of Jesus alone for our salvation is like continuing to make mortgage payments on a fully-paid-for home.
In today’s passage, the writer reminds us that we have direct access to God through Jesus and are able to live with a full assurance of faith and a clear conscience because God has said, “Their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more” (Hebrews 10:17). The empty tomb testifies that what we believe is true!
As the writer exhorted his readers, Pastor Kevin exhorts us to endure to the end, holding “fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful….not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching” (Hebrews 10:23,25).

Hebrews 11:8-10 - Abram Did Not Ignore the True and Living God
May 7, 2023. S-1539-DC
We continue our study in Hebrews 11, God’s “Hall of Fame,” this week looking in detail at the life of Abram (Abraham) before he obeyed God’s command to leave pagan Ur and travel to a land “that I will show you.” Pastor Dustin shared Josephus’ account of Abram’s life in ancient Ur and how he became to believe in and proclaim the one true and living God as revealed in creation. Like the pagan Chaldeans of antiquity, our “modern” world is increasingly “suppress(ing) the truth in unrighteousness, because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse” (Romans 1:18-20), which always leads to sexual perversion and worship of the creation instead of the Creator (Romans 1:24-25), and the eventual collapse of that civilization.

Hebrews 11:6-8; Apr 30, 2023; Enoch Walked With God and God Took Him
We continue our study in Hebrews 11, God’s “Hall of Fame,” looking at the lives of Enoch, whom God translated because he please God; Noah, who obeyed God’s command to build an ark to escape the impending judgment of the flood; and Abraham, who obeyed God’s command to leave pagan Ur and travel to a land “that I will show you.” All three humbly heard God, responded in faith by calling upon the name of the Lord for salvation, and demonstrated their faith through their lives and actions, even though it meant believing God’s promises despite opposition. As we reflect on the lives of these heroes of faith in light of the growing opposition of the gospel today, Pastor Kevin exhorts us to persevere in faith in these last days, remembering that “…the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever” (1 John 2:17).

Hebrews 11:1-6 - Without Faith it is Impossible to Please God
April 23, 2023, S-1537-KL
Today, we begin our study in Hebrews 11, often called God’s “Faith Hall of Fame.” Building upon the previous (Chapter 10) exhortations to endure in our faith, Chapter 11 goes on to describe the faith that endures. It is faith in Jesus’ sacrifice for sin, personally appropriated, which comes by hearing and humbly responding to God’s gospel of peace. Our faith is Jesus is not a blind faith however – it is a faith based on substance and evidence of the reality and power of God, including the evidence of creation and the empty tomb. Thus, the writer of Hebrews declares, “But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him" (Hebrews 11:6).

Resurrection Sunday, April 9, 2023; John 11 Personalizing the Resurrection
John 11 - Personalizing the Resurrection
April 9, Resurrection Sunday, 2023, S-1535-KL
This Sunday, when most in America are preoccupied with chocolate bunnies and Easter eggs, Pastor Kevin directs our attention to the real reason for today’s celebration – Jesus’ resurrection from the dead nearly 2,000 years ago, and he challenges us to personalize this historical fact for ourselves.
His own resurrection was the fourth that Jesus performed. Each of the prior three should have erased all doubt that He was God and caused all those who were living at the time to receive Him as their Savior and Messiah. However, only 120 persons obeyed Jesus’ command to wait in Jerusalem for the promised Holy Spirit. Most people did not believe Him, despite the irrefutable proofs of His miracles and own resurrection.
The same is true today. The enemy of our souls deceives us into thinking that only the things in this life matter. What really matters is where we will spend eternity. Have you personalized Jesus’ resurrection by humbling yourself and receiving Him as your Savior? If you are a believer, are you personalizing Jesus’ resurrection by submitting to Him daily in obedience and faith in order to allow Jesus to live out His resurrected life in and through you? What will you say when God asks you, “What have you done with my Son, Jesus?”

Hebrews 10:1-14; Apr 2, 2023; He Has Perfected Forever Those Who are Being Sanctified
Hebrews 10:1-14 and related Scriptures emphasize that animal sacrifices were insufficient to remove sin and its guilt. In fact, they served as a reminder of sin. Pastor Kevin emphasized that the same is true of any religious system that relies on human effort. As prophesied in Psalm 40, only Jesus’ bodily sacrifice is sufficient to atone for sin completely and forever for those who believe. “But when this priest [Jesus] had offered for all time one sacrifice for sins, He sat down at the right hand of God, and since that time He waits for his enemies to be made his footstool. For by one sacrifice He has made perfect forever those who are being made holy” (Hebrews 10:12-14).
