From a chess standpoint, the Ukraine conflict is now in the "middle game" where the strategy is largely set and the two opposing forces will try to grind each other down. I will detail the expected Russian strategy, as well as a possible Ukrainian defensive strategy. My Ukrainian strategy is less likely to happen since it is based on a "negotiated settlement outcome" which I'm not confident that NATO would allow. #Ukraine #Russia #Biden #Putin #War Many American politicians, including President Biden, seem determined to escalate the War in Ukraine through aggressive rhetoric, military aid, and promises of victory that are far from certain. It is clear, at this point, that the Biden Administration hopes to use Ukraine as a proxy war with Russia in hopes of toppling the Putin regime. This video will explain why I don't think this plan is likely to succeed. The only thing that is certain is that the Ukrainian people will bear the full cost of of our politicians decisions. There still remains the possibility for a peaceful conclusion to the war in Ukraine, but this window is closing quickly. I think that time is no longer on our side, and the longer this conflict continues, the more difficult it will be to negotiate a peaceful solution, as distrust builds into a new Cold War. My analysis of Ukraine do not focus on morality. We can all tell right from wrong in this war; you don't need me for that. Instead, I am trying to be as objective as possible, and make predictions about how these troubling events will unfold. With luck, we can find a way to navigate this war, and bring things to a peaceful conclusion. Much of my focus is on how American foreign policy helped create this mess. The reason I'm not focusing on Putin's role in this war is because we have no real control over him. Putin is going to do what Putin is going to do, and our politicians should all know this! Additionally, Putin has a long history of taking advantage of the strategic opportunities that we give him, and the war in Ukraine would have been very easy to prevent if our politicians hadn't been so corrupt and ignorant.
