In this episode, we hit a couple milestones. First, we finally get a full-sized Yucca Pac installed and we begin a fun partnership with #coastaloffroad as we add one of our first "Big 3" for the 2023 year. Each year I pick 3 large modifications to my adventure truck in an attempt to better manage the build budget. This time around we got the Coastal Offroad Rear Bumper with the Spare Tire Swingout. Completing the armor requirements of this build! Ohh yea and we got a sick little deal for all of you! Use Code "blindman5" at check out to get a discount on your next order from Coastal Off Road!
This camper is one I have been very excited about! It represents us continuing to ensure that the Yucca Pac Camper is perfect for all makes and models. This Dodge Ram build looks carrying a Full-SIze Yucca Pac Camper what do you think?!

I Sold Everything I Own to Chase A Dream - Adventure Factory Ep 5 - Yucca Pac Campers
It seems only fitting that I end this chapter of my life in the same place that I started it and with the same people. 3 years ago I started this Youtube channel as a means to be more creative and share some of my experiences out west.
That very quickly evolved into creating a brand, growing a network of other adventurepreneurs and content creators with their own vision. 3 years later, thanks to the love and support of my friends and family. I find myself in a situation where the only thing left to do is jump into the great unknown. I'm embarking on the biggest adventure of my life with no safety net only a clear vision of what and where I want to be.
I've spent the last 3 years in preparation for this moment right here. So in this video, we say goodbye to the last item that connected me to my previous journey and we turn to the page.
For those of you who have been here since the beginning I want to say thank you and I hope you continue to stick around, who knows where we will be this time next year, for now, though we will continue to Live Free, Be Wild, and most importantly DO THE THINGS!!!

Northern Lock Down - Never Thought I Would See This - Blockades!!
I have never seen so many bears along the roadway! The roads literally became almost barren once we passed high level and started making our way to the 60th parallel. Once we arrived we quickly realized just how serious other provinces were taking the ongoing #pandemic. Its a good thing we weren't trying to get to Tuck this trip because we surely would have been turned around. Thankfully Dave Heather and Cicely put us up for the night at their place and showed us some good old fashioned Alberta hospitality.

Abandoned Camp Site - Northern Alberta - Covid Road Trip
It's been 5 days since we left, and over 1500 kilometers down on this #overlanding trip, we woke up to clouds of tiny black flies that would bite the crap out of us, my feet were spotted like mad from wearing flip-flops the following evening! But we had to make the northwest crossing from Fortmac to High Level, on our way we discovered a beautiful spot off the beaten path to call home for the night, called #islandlake Alberta. A little piece of paradise that was secluded and peaceful, one of the best little places we stayed for sure. So excited as we begin the 2nd portion of our trip and reach for the 3rd corner!

Alberta's Sand Dune Highway - Crazy Sand Flies - Epic Camp Site
#Overland Episode 2 Blindman Overland takes the fort Chipewan road, it is a winter ice road that is only open to commercial traffic during the frozen winter months when the ice forms and heavy transports are able to deliver the goods and services to the locals. During the summer the ice falls away revealing a vast highway of sand leading you deep into the most northwestern point in AB accessible by ground vehicle. with limited fuel we were unable to make it all the way to the Athabasca Dunes however were fortunate to spend the night on the beautiful twin lakes, the sandflies were a real struggle tho.
Note: prior to beginning this trip, many hours were spent on route planning. We had confirmed our plans with fish and wildlife and the municipality of wood buffalo to ensure we were permitted to operate our vehicles in the areas we were in with a confirmation email from Fish and Wildlife. There are some areas around the road that are designated OHV only, we were not using these trails in any capacity.

My First Beach Camp Ever - In CANADA?!
Not long after we woke up to a beautiful ancient valley nestled on a small perch of public land that borders a natural reserve, the local authorities arrived due to a concerned farmer who thought we were using his land. It's a common thing as many farmers lease public land for grazing rights, however in order to avoid any drama (cause #blindmanoverland doesn't do drama) we continued to pack up as we were northbound and one of the most amazing sunsets I have ever seen awaited us as we assumed the role of #beachbums.

South Alberta surprised us
Introducing our latest series! Jason from #overlandalberta and #blindmanoverland teamed up to bring you the #overland #4cornersexpedition of Alberta Canada. Using as many back roads as we could we make our way to the farthest points we can legally drive to, without leaving the province. WIth a province the size of some countries, I'm sure you can imagine the beauty we were about to see. We started our journey by meeting at Tim Hortons before making the push to the start point at the Wildhorse Border Crossing at the most southeastern point in the province. We made camp in middle earth where we had a great sleep before the official start of our expedition would be under our wheels.

Getting Stuck - Bobber downs - Solo Adventure
I had heard that the Bow and NSR, The two largest rivers in AB are actually open year-round for fishing. When the time came to renew my license I decided to review the regs to confirm and low and behold it was true. So despite not having the resources to do so, I decided I'm going anyway. This Saturday Zeus and I set out bright and early to see about finding some open water on the NSR. And like any true adventure, there was much that I wasn't expecting, swamping out the truck looking for a campsite was definitely not something I was planning on doing but hey that's the thing with adventure. You never can tell what it has in store for you!
