First off, I apologize for audio only, this was recorded well after dark in northern Idaho. A friend of mine had been hunting and was returning to his camp after field dressing his kill when he recorded this series of howls coming from the approximate direction of his gut pile. I've lived in Idaho my entire life and have been pretty much everywhere in the state but have never heard a creature like this. I invite you to listen and give your opinions on what you think it could be.
