After some bad luck last year with the MDI box blowing up and some of the worst storms I've ever seen, I began wondering if the whole living on a boat dream might be doomed!

Welcome to the Big Cat Sailing channel. This is episode 1 of my story. With the crazy cost of living crisis and sky rocketing house prices in Guernsey where I live, I made the decision to get a Catamaran and try and live on that instead. It was all very rushed and unplanned, I sold everything in my flat and within a month was living out at sea. The only problem was Winter was close and I had no real plans. Luckily I made it into a harbour here for the winter just in time!
