Believing in Jesus and knowing Him are two different things. Jesus said there would be many who would work many signs and wonders in His name, but He would not know them. We can be followers of Jesus but not know Him. We need to pursue love, so we can know Him because God is love. We need to agree with the Father and Son on what it means to be joined with Him before we decide to drink of His life's blood. We must do the will of the Father so the Son will know us, and we might enter the Kingdom of Heaven with the Spirit of Christ living in us.

We are to pursue love and earnestly desire spiritual gifts, not the other way around. We might operate in spiritual gifts but if we have no love, we are nothing.

According to John 1:11, if we receive Jesus and are born of His spirit, we are given by Him the right to be called a child of God. The enemy cannot intimidate you with their lies saying you do not deserve Jesus, or you are not worthy of His sacrifice. The fact is that you have a right given by you to be a child of God. Period! What you do with this news is up to you.

Believing in Jesus is an essential step in being able to know Him, but it is only the first step. According to Jesus, in order to enter into heaven, we must do the will of the Father. In order to do the will of the Father, we must know Him. Time is short. Turn your face towards the Father and seek Him diligently, so you might find Him before His hand begins to move through the earth. The only way to be saved from what is coming is to know God.
