In response to the perceived shortcomings of the existing Returned Serviceman's League (RSL), AVA aims to realign the focus towards the welfare and rights of veterans. By establishing itself as a Common Law Private Charitable Trust, AVA ensures independence from governmental influences, fostering a robust platform for advocacy, support, and commemoration.
