Who doesn't like a treat? ;) From me to you... Happy Friday!

Happy Friday! I'm excited about this new one, No Sharp Edges. I imagine that the Bass Guitar and Vocals may be the only elements that remain once fully produced. I think a synth or two, and some fun samples, may give it the edge it needs. Regardless, I like this mellow acoustic version.

Happy Friday! This new song I'm writing called "Sweet Relief" is actually close to being done. It sounds much different after being produced in studio; however, here is how it sounded a week ago while I was still writing the lyrics for it.

I dig the saturated bass guitar riff in this song, Love It Live. I think I may have to write a few more using this style. Happy Friday!

This production called, "Raise a Glass", is so far away from my normal style that I almost can't believe I created it. Amazing to see how changing the starting instrument (Synth Bass, instead of Guitar) changes the end result. Regardless, I hope you find it entertaining. I have 3 new songs in the works that are all Guitar based. Raise a Glass!

I've been putting some final touches on my production called "Raise a Glass". It was started using some synths and a drum machine. It has morphed into something .... crazy. Regardless, I wanted to get back on track writing music with my guitar. This new one I think will be called "Love it Live". Here is what I have so far.

Every once and a while I like to start my song creation process without using a guitar. It almost ALWAYS changes the feel/type/genre of song that is created. Excited to see the direction this one takes! Have a great week!

Wrote this song, Soul Filled Shoes, a few weeks ago. Really happy with how it evolved. From a production standpoint, it can be difficult to marry the harder synth base with the guitar; however, I like the end result. Enjoy the weekend!

Good start to this new song, Soul Filled Shoes. This rendition (to tick track) is perhaps a little too distorted and electric. I'm looking forward to adding some bass, synth, and sample elements. Let's see where it takes us!

Originally was going to start producing "Are You Down", but then I wrote this one, "As We Fade". Decided it made more sense to produce this one first as it is fresh in the mind. Hopefully released by the end of next week.

This song, Tough, is very much at the beginning stages. I'm not 100% sure if a produced version would keep the mando guitar. I may experiment with heavy synth bass and see where it takes me. Regardless, need to hash out some more melody changes and a bridge. Here we go!

I kept hearing this song, Silver Lining, like a Linkin Park song in my head. When I was younger I listened to Hybrid Theory on repeat. Impossible act to follow. Such an amazing album.
