🐇Morgan Geyser Interrogation
#MorganGeyser #TrueCrime #Interrogation #SlenderMan
On May 31, 2014, in Waukesha, Wisconsin, United States, two 12-year-old girls, Anissa Weier and Morgan Geyser, lured their friend Payton Leutner into a forest and stabbed her 19 times in an attempt to become proxies of the fictional character Slender Man.[2] Leutner crawled to a road where she was found, and recovered after six days in the hospital. Weier and Geyser were found not guilty by mental disease or defect and committed to mental health institutions for sentences of 25 and 40 years, respectively.
The stabbing took place in David's Park, a wooded area near Waukesha, Wisconsin, during a game of hide-and-seek on May 31, 2014. The perpetrators, Anissa Weier and Morgan Geyser, pinned down Payton Leutner and stabbed her nineteen times in the arms, legs, and torso with a five-inch-long (13 cm) blade. Two wounds were to major organs; one missed a major artery of her heart by less than a millimeter, and another went through her diaphragm, cutting into her liver and stomach.[5] Weier and Geyser told Leutner they would find help, but they did not get any upon leaving.[4] Afterwards, Leutner dragged herself to a nearby road where she was found by a cyclist.[6] The cyclist called 911 when he saw her.
Weier and Geyser were apprehended near Interstate 94 at Steinhafel's furniture store, after walking 4.9 miles (7.9 km).[7] The knife used in the stabbing was in a bag they carried. While Geyser felt no empathy, Weier was described as feeling guilty for stabbing the victim, but felt that the attack was needed to appease Slender Man.
Leutner left the hospital seven days after the attack.[8] She returned to school in September 2014.[5][9]

🐇Chris Cuomo Testimony
#ChrisCuomo #TrueCrime #Testimony
Chris Cuomo, 51, lost his high-wattage job at CNN in December, less than a week after transcripts from his testimony were published.
Chris Cuomo wore a dark gray pinstripe suit as lawyers working on the attorney general’s probe lobbed questions at him in lower Manhattan on July 15.
The footage from the meeting ran more than five hours and revealed him serious, sometimes sipping from a plastic water bottle, as he described his close-knit relationship with his brother, and his contact with reporters during the hail of harassment claims.
“As the situation started to accelerate, my brother asked me to be in the loop,” Chris Cuomo said of his interactions with members of the governor’s inner circle.
He said he had “many” phone calls with his brother in December 2020, when the first sexual harassment allegation against the governor emerged publicly.
Chris Cuomo said his brother told him that he needed his help and was “sorry” about dragging the newsman into the maelstrom.
A final report from the office of state Attorney General Letitia James was published in August and found that Andrew Cuomo had s**ually harassed at least 11 women.

🐇Officer Frank Garmback Interrogation
#FrankGarmback #TrueCrime #Interrogation
An arbitrator halved the suspension Cleveland police officer Frank Garmback received for his role in the fatal shooting of 12-year-old Tamir Rice.
Garmback's original 10-day suspension was reduced to five days by arbitrator Daniel Zeiser of Cleveland. Garmback was previously suspended for using improper tactics when driving his police cruiser to within feet of Tamir and for failing to notify dispatchers when he arrived at Cudell Recreation Center.
Zeiser wrote in his April 4 opinion released to cleveland.com Tuesday as part of a public records request that the city incorrectly put Garmback's disciplinary proceedings in the most serious disciplinary category -- called the Group III category.
The Group III category typically includes excessive uses of force or officer's caught stealing on the job, Zeisler wrote.
Zeisler concluded that Safety Director Michael McGrath disciplined Garmback for offenses that didn't merit the most serious form of discipline.
"Employing improper tactics, while not as serious as the conduct listed in Group III, is more than a minor violation and warrants more than a warning," Zeisler wrote.
Garmback drove a patrol car within feet of Tamir seconds before his partner, now-fired officer Timothy Loehmann, jumped out and fired the shots that killed the boy Nov. 22, 2014 outside Cudell Recreation Center.
Garmback was serving as Leohmann's training officer when they went to investigate a report of a "guy with a gun" scaring people outside the recreation center. Tamir had an airsoft replica pistol tucked in his waistband when he was shot, investigators determined.

🐇Lonnie Franklin Jr. Interrogation - Grim Sleeper Serial Killer
#LonnieFranklin #TrueCrime #Interrogation #GrimSleeper
Lonnie David Franklin Jr. (August 30, 1952 – March 28, 2020),[1] better known by the nickname Grim Sleeper, was an American serial killer who was responsible for at least 10 murders and one attempted murder in Los Angeles, California from 1984 to 2007.[2] He was also convicted for rape and sexual violence.[3][4][5] Franklin earned his nickname when he appeared to have taken a 14-year break from his crimes, from 1988 to 2002.[6]
In July 2010, Franklin was arrested as a suspect, and, after many delays, his trial began in February 2016. On May 5, 2016, the jury convicted him of killing nine women and one teenage girl.[7][8] On June 6, 2016, the jury recommended the death penalty,[9] and on August 10, 2016, the Los Angeles Superior Court sentenced him to death for each of the ten victims named in the verdict.[10] On March 28, 2020, Franklin was found dead in his cell at San Quentin State Prison.

🐇Donald Smith - Secret Jailhouse Recording
#DonaldSmith #TrueCrime #SecretJailhouseRecording #CherishPerrywinkle
Cherish Perrywinkle (December 24, 2004 – June 22, 2013) was an 8-year-old girl from Jacksonville, Florida who was abducted from a Walmart on June 21, 2013.[1] She was seen on CCTV cameras leaving the store with a man named Donald James Smith (born September 4, 1956) who was later convicted of her murder and sentenced to death.[2]
Cherish Lily Perrywinkle was born in Jacksonville, Florida on Christmas Eve of 2004 to Rayne Perrywinkle and Billy Jarreau, who were never married and had custody battles.[3]
On June 21, 2013, around 8 pm, Rayne, Cherish, and her two younger sisters went shopping when they first met Donald Smith at a Dollar General, where he offered to buy them clothes they could not afford with a $150 Walmart gift card. The Perrywinkles then got into his white van and went with him to Walmart, where they shopped for the next 2 hours. At 10:30 pm, Smith offered to get them cheeseburgers at the store's McDonald's and Cherish followed him. However, surveillance footage shows that they walked out of the store instead, which was the last time Cherish was seen alive. About half an hour later, Rayne called the police to report that her daughter had been abducted and an amber alert was issued five hours later.[4] The next morning Cherish's body was found in a creek behind Highland's Baptist Church. It is believed that Smith had bound her in the back of his van, where she was sexually assaulted and strangled to death.[
Police immediately identified Smith as the abductor, with his van being one of the main focuses. Around 9 am the next day, officers saw his van on the interstate and cornered him before he surrendered and was promptly arrested. Smith was known to police as a local sex offender with a long criminal history including numerous offenses against minors. He had been released from jail only three weeks before Cherish's murder.[5]

🐇Paul Westwood Interrogation
#PaulWestwood #Predator #TrueCrime #Interrogation #TCAP
Eleven men are behind bars in what looked like a made for television internet sex sting operation.
Kentucky Attorney General Greg Stumbo along with other authorities announced that authorities along with a group called Perverted Justice conducted the sting that caught people from as far as 200 miles away.
As part of the sting operation, men who range in age from 24 to 59 years old came to a house in Highland Heights to meet what they thought was a 13 year old girl that they met online. In reality, those men were chatting with members of the Perverted Justice group which works in conjunction with NBC on their series "to Catch a Predator".
All eleven were in court this morning and all are being held on a $100,000 bond.
Del Harvey from Perverted Justice gave a horrifying fact during a press conference this morning. Harvey said that the average online predator who has been convicted has roughly 100 potential victims.
Paul Westwood received 3 years in prison for child porn in Ohio and 4 years, 3 months for crossing state lines to Kentucky for sex with a minor. He likely served the sentences concurrently and was released between 2011 and 2013. He will remain on probation and the sex offender registry for life (having to update his status every 90 days as a sexual predator in Ohio), and currently lives in a town called Hamilton.
Those arrested are as follows:
David Quist, 46, Ft. Thomas, KY
James Rauch, 59, Cincinnati, OH
Donny Emmert, 30, Groveport, OH
Timothy Kyne, 42, Indianapolis, IN
Michael Meyer, 24, Covington, KY
Charles "Dave" McCallister, 41, Manchester, KY
Dennis Wissel, 45, Cincinnati, OH
Anthony Orangias, 39, Culver, IN
Richard Springmeier, 48, Cincinnati, OH

🐇Chanel Lewis Interrogation
#ChanelLewis #TrueCrime #Interrogation
Karina Anne Vetrano (July 12, 1986 – August 2, 2016) was a 30-year-old American woman who was attacked, sexually assaulted, and murdered while running in Spring Creek Park in the Howard Beach neighborhood of Queens, New York City. The case attracted national media attention, partially due to how it went unsolved for nearly six months. A suspect, Chanel Lewis, was arrested and charged with her murder in February 2017 after being linked by DNA evidence.[2] Lewis' trial began on November 5, 2018, and ended in a mistrial on November 21, 2018. A retrial took place in March 2019.[3] On April 1, 2019, Lewis was found guilty on three counts of murder and one count of sexual abuse; he was sentenced to life in prison without parole.

🐇John Wesley Elliott - To Catch A Predator
#JohnWesleyElliott #TCAP #TrueCrime #Interrogation #AliceLiddell
John was a worker at a door manufacturing company and 39 years old when he started chatting with a girl he believed to be twelve years old with the screen name "dreamin_of_fairies". Twelve minutes into the chat, he mentions his hobbies are computers and taking pictures of himself mastur*ating. He then transmits those pictures to the decoy and says he wants to stand outside her window and mastur*ate in front of her. They chat back and forth for over a month, with Elliott telling the decoy many times that he is naked during their chat sessions. He expresses a desire to give the decoy oral s*x and sends CP to illustrate his desires.[1] During his phone conversations with the decoy, he is dumbfounded and exasperated that a girl her age could be interested in him and is adamant he has never done anything like this before.[2]
On the day of the sting, Elliott drives two and a half hours from Benton, KY by way of "some place called Dawson Springs" for the meet. Upon meeting Casey at the door, he does a potty dance and immediately asks to go to the bathroom. When he comes out, he compliments her on her looks. As Casey starts to question him about what they're going to do and about the CP he transmitted, he figures out something is wrong and starts to backpedal on his intentions. This brings out Chris Hansen. He tells Chris he wouldn't be able to go through with it because he was scared and nervous. He says he didn't bring condoms because only wanted to do oral s*x and didn't think it was that bad. When asked what should happen to him, he joking replies, "Sent to an island?". When Chris takes objection to him acting like the whole situation is a joke, John says that he knows he's a therapist from the way he's talking. When Chris tells him he walked into a Dateline investigation, he's apologetic and says he loves his wife even though it don't look like it. John walks outside and is arrested by the Bowling Green Sheriff's Department and the Kentucky Bureau of Investigation, who had been running a statewide sting. Under interrogation, John believes the investigator in charge of his case is also a therapist, and frequently continues to laugh and joke, not really comprehending the gravity of his situation.
Elliott is convicted of First Degree Attempted Unlawful Transaction With a Minor and received seven years in prison with a 20 year term of sex offender registration.[3]

🐇Joshua Ramsawmy Interrogation
#JoshuaRamsawmy #TrueCrime #Interrogation
Money may have been the motive behind a recent double homicide in Orlando.
Orlando Police Department officials said Cynthia Stack, 52, and her son, 22-year-old Sean Stack were found shot to death in their West Jefferson apartment July 18.
Amelia Bissoon, 25, and her husband, 28-year-old Joshua Ramsawmy, are charged with first-degree murder in connection with their deaths.
According to court documents, Bissoon worked at Chase Bank in downtown Orlando. Cynthia Stack's father was a loyal client of hers and followed her when she moved locations.
The investigation shows Bissoon drafted two $25,000 checks from that client's account in March and made them out to her son, who is younger than 18 years old.
Ramsawmy then opened two accounts at Bank of America with the $50,000, documents show.
Police say Cynthia Stack began to question the transactions taking place with her father's account. Those questions, authorities said, was the motive behind her and her son's death.
Reports say Ramsawmy bought a gun and used it to kill them both.
Initially, Bissoon and her husband didn't come out with the truth, but when Bissoon met with investigators a second time she said her husband admitted to killing the two, police said.
According to court documents, Cynthia's father may suffer from dementia and suffered a traumatic brain injury in the past. This may cause a lapse in judgment and police say that may have been a factor in Bissoon taking advantage of him.

🐇House of Horrors - The Disturbing Case of Linda Ann Weston
#LindaAnnWeston #HouseOfHorrors #TrueCrime #Documentary
Philadelphia basement kidnapping, also known as the Basement of Horrors, describes the discovery of four people, being held against their will, in conditions of deprivation on October 17, 2011 in the basement of an apartment building in the Tacony neighborhood of Northeast Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
The owner of the building discovered the captives' presence after investigating suspicious activity in the basement area. Three people were arrested as initial suspects in the case: Linda Weston, Gregory Thomas and Eddie Wright. A fourth person, Jean McIntosh, the daughter of Weston, was arrested on October 19. Ten people, including six children, were taken into custody on October 18 in connection with the discovery. A niece of Weston's, Beatrice Weston (19), was among them, and was found to be malnourished and suffering from multiple wounds. She had been reported missing in 2009. A Police investigator stated he had never seen such signs of abuse on a living person.
An investigation by the FBI and the Philadelphia Police Department is currently[when?] underway to determine if the suspects were part of a larger multi-state kidnapping scheme, as identifying papers of at least 50 other people were found in the initial search. Evidence so far suggests that people had been held for collection of their Social Security Disability benefits, as the four people initially found were mentally disabled.

Grant Amato, 30, of Chuluota, will instead spend life in prison without parole after Monday's verdict by the Seminole County courthouse jury, which decided after three hours of deliberations not to recommend a death sentence, the Orlando Sentinel reported.

🐇Kenneth Brinkman Interrogation - To Catch A Predator
#KennethBrinkman #TCAP #TrueCrime #Interrogation
Kenneth was a 43 year old manager of the audit department of Speedway, a gas station chain, when he began chatting with a boy he believed to be fourteen years old named "Rockie". Ken spends the chat doing risk assessment and checking to see what the boy likes and is into without directly saying what he wanted to do with him, asking general questions about what he liked to do sexually and about his physical development. They decide to meet during a time Rockie's parents would be in Las Vegas, leaving him alone and Ken does strongly hint at sexual contact when he says "sneak out for a bj" after finding out the lengths Rockie would go to in order to keep their conversation going as well as saying in a roundabout way that he has an erection while thinking about their meet. Ken and Rockie make a date to meet at the trap house late in the evening and drives 45 miles.[1]
Before coming in, Ken drives around the house several times before working up the courage to come in. Del Harvey, as the on-site decoy invites him to sit at the bar, which sets him up for a confrontation with Chris Hansen. Kenneth doesn't deny anything that was said but his defense was that the sex talk wasn't anything they were talking about doing with each other and they were "normal chat things". Ken says that he was scared to come because of what is happening now and it was his first time coming to meet an underage boy. He says he is embarrassed and just wants to go home...and this is before he is told by Chris that he has just been exposed as part of a Dateline investigation. Ken becomes even more distraught, saying that his exposure is even worse that being arrested, so when he finally was arrested when he walked out of the house, it wasn't the worst thing that happened to him that night.
During his questioning at the police station, the investigator's tone and body language makes it immediately known that he doesn't like Ken and isn't in the mood for any BS. As Ken tries to tell his side of the story, mostly saying "Y'know..." and minimizing the sex talk, the investigator cuts him off repeatedly after hearing him trying to bend the truth by yelling back to him excerpts of his chat with Rockie. Ken continues to try not to own up to what was said or blame Rockie for the direction of the chat, but gets backed into a figurative corner when confronted with the "sneak out for a bj" line. The investigator tersely reminds him that it's his job as an investigator to read the people he's investigating, he doesn't believe what Ken is telling him, his chat is similar to a lot of the sexually explicit chat between adults and children he has seen, and that he's the ninth person caught that night for the same charge. After explaining that he'll be in jail all weekend until a judge can set his bond, the investigators leave him to his fate.[2]
Brinkman ended up getting eight months in jail, a $1500 fine, and sex offender registration for ten years.[3] Kenneth is now no longer a Registered Sex Offender.

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Prosecutors and defense attorneys for three former Minneapolis officers who are charged in the death of George Floyd asked a judge on Friday to postpone their state trial while a federal civil rights trial goes forward.
Thomas Lane, J. Kueng and Tou Thao are scheduled to go to trial on March 7 on state charges of aiding and abetting both murder and manslaughter. The three also face a federal trial on Jan. 20 on charges alleging they violated Floyd’s civil rights while acting under government authority.
State prosecutors and defense attorneys filed a joint request Friday to have the state trial postponed, saying it’s not known how long the federal trial will last. The request says all parties agree that “a continuance should be granted in the interest of justice.”
They are asking for an informal conference to set a new trial date. It’s not known when Judge Peter Cahill will rule.

🐇Sheriff Will Lewis Interrogation
#WillLewis #TrueCrime #Interrogation
The Supreme Court of South Carolina affirmed on Wednesday the criminal conviction of former Greenville County Sheriff Will Lewis, therefore denying his appeal.
Lewis had appealed his conviction after he was found guilty of one count of misconduct of a public officer in October 2019. He was found not guilty of common law misconduct in office. He was indicted on a dozen other charges alleging additional aspects of misconduct in office, obstruction of justice, perjury and misconduct of a public officer but those charges were later dismissed.
After his conviction, Lewis' attorney, Rauch Wise, argued that the criminal charge of misconduct in office in Lewis' case was "overly broad" and vague. He argued that the state failed to explicitly show how Lewis violated this statute.
Lewis' former assistant, Savanah Nabors, claimed he sexually harassed and assaulted her during a business trip to Charlotte, North Carolina, in March 2017. She sued and was ultimately awarded a settlement of nearly $200,000. Lewis had admitted to a consensual sexual encounter, but denied all allegations of an assault.
In the Supreme Court opinion published Wednesday, the allegations were detailed in a typed summary, first describing the treatment and perks of Nabors while working at the Sheriff's Office and later outlining the alleged incidents in Charlotte.
"While the exact details of the events were disputed at trial, both Lewis and Nabors stated a sexual encounter occurred once the two arrived back at the hotel later that first night," the Supreme Court opinion states. "According to Nabors, Lewis sat next to her on a couch, placed his arm around her, and tried to kiss her. The next thing she remembered was waking up in bed with Lewis on top of her engaging in sexual intercourse."
Lewis was initially criminally charged with misconduct in office and obstruction of justice in February 2019. He was suspended from office during a state investigation into Nabors' allegations.

🐇David Demers Interrogation - To Catch A Predator
#DavidDemers #TCAP #TrueCrime #Interrogation
David was a 31 year old teacher at a technical college in Orlando when he began chatting with a girl he believed to be fourteen named "Anni". He at first tries to impress the girl by speaking to her in very basic Japanese and bragging that he has been to Japan. He then says he was asked to audition for the Blue Man Group. He initiates in platonic friendly chat, but gradually goes into grooming talk, testing her boundaries, and introducing the girl to sexual terms and innuendo. The testing of the waters continues until Demers asks the girl to sleep with him while comparing himself to her ex-boyfriend. Demers would go as far as send various pictures of his penis in various poses asking how his penis compared to that of a thirteen year old boy. The chat continued for nearly a month with Demers making a date to go to the trap house for a sexual encounter with the girl.[1]

🐇Chief James Hanzey Interrogation
#JamesHanzey #TrueCrime #Interrogation
BUCKEYE LAKE – Former Buckeye Lake Police Chief James Hanzey was indicted July 18, by a Licking County Grand Jury on two counts of Unauthorized Use of Property ORC 2913.04(C).
Hanzey was fired May 8, 2018, after five council members agreed that he should be removed from office after the five found he was insubordinate, acted inefficiently in the fulfillment of his duties as Chief, and neglected his duties as Chief. The five were Council President Kitty Zwissler and council members Bill French, John Geiger, Doug Poorman DVM and Tom Wolfe. Four of the five – minus Poorman – also found that Hanzey acted incompetently in the fulfillment of his duties as Chief and committed Misfeasance in the fulfillment of his duties as Chief. Council members Robert Masone MD and Arletta Ruton did not believe that Hanzey committed any of the nine listed offenses summarized by the hearing officer Newark attorney W. Prentice Snow.
Mayor Peggy A. Wells filed 22 administrative counts against Hanzey following an internal affairs investigation conducted by the Pataskala Division of Police. That investigation was prompted by a March 10, 2018, incident at a Leisure Village home. Hanzey had called Wells that afternoon, telling her he had been released from the hospital after undergoing a procedure to remove his ring finger on his right hand. Hanzey told her he had a doctor’s release to return for light duty on March 12. Wells told Hanzey not to report to duty until she had seen the release and consulted with the village solicitor.
Wells later wrote to Hanzey, “Notwithstanding this conversation, you responded to a call in Leisure Village the evening of March 10. You decided to respond to this call despite not having delivered your doctor’s release and despite the fact that responding to a reported violent felony is far from “light duty.” I have been made aware that, while responding to this call, you accidentally discharged a firearm inside a private dwelling.”
The indictment’s first count covers the time period January 19, 2016, through June 14, 2017, stating the defendant “did knowingly gain access to, attempt to gain access to, cause access to be granted to, or disseminate information gained from access to the law enforcement automated database system created pursuant to Section 5503.10 of the Revised Code without the consent of, or beyond the scope of the express or implied consent of, the chair of the law enforcement automated data system steering committee…” The violation is a felony of the fifth degree.

The second count is for the same violation during the time period January 19, 2017, through June 14, 2017.

🐇Dustin McPhetridge Interrogation - To Catch A Predator
#DustinMcPhetridge #TCAP #TrueCrime #Interrogation
Dustin Jacob McPhetridge appeared on the Bowling Green, Kentucky investigation of To Catch a Predator. He is most known for his disability, as well as his outrageous demands while in prison.
After his arrest, Dustin pulls every pity string he can ranging from his disability to his weight to getting bullied with Sgt. Dudinskie, the officer in charge of his interview. Dudinskie fires back with details of his chatlog that showed Dustin to be a very disgusting predator that hid behind his disability. [2]
He was sentenced to five years in prison for traveling across state lines to meet a minor for sex. He was also sentenced to eight years for possession of child pornography. The sentences ran concurrently but because Dustin wasn’t convicted on the CP charge until two years after his first conviction, he actually ended up with a ten year sentence.[3] Dustin was released on lifetime federal sex-offender probation and now helps to run a convenience store in Surgoinsville, Tennessee.

🐇Michael Patterson Interrogation - To Catch A Predator
#MichaelPatterson #TCAP #TrueCrime #Interrogation
Michael Joseph Patterson, otherwise known as jon_raven2000 was a predator caught in the Bowling Green, Kentucky installment of To Catch a Predator. He is perhaps best known for screaming his ass off while being arrested by the police.
Prior to the sting operation, Patterson was a reserve police officer in Lebron, Indiana, who was fired for using police car lights to pull someone over, impersonating an on-duty officer.
Patterson drove 5 hours away from Kouts, Indiana to the sting house in Bowling Green to meet up with a girl he believed to be thirteen. Within 2 hours of being acquainted with the decoy online, he drives to her house and talks to her over the phone on the way. During the conversation, he discloses that he carries a gun with him everywhere, so the sting team gave the decoy special instructions to make sure he was unarmed upon arrival. The decoy gives a series of verbal commands to Patterson to prove that he is unarmed, and he giddily does so without suspecting a thing. Once he enters the house he gives into the decoy's small talk, admiring the house and falsely telling her that he's a detective lieutenant. After disclosing this he is greeted by Chris Hansen, who exercises his own detective skills and asks Patterson why he's there. Patterson cites his loneliness and his ongoing divorce as reasons to commit statutory rape.
